very very old. maintenance not kept up. water marks an wall. our bed had a sheet stuff underit that we could not pull out!!. it must have been there awhile and the cleaners never removed it. had to move the couch so we could see the TV and found it dirty and old socks under it. again not cleaned peoperly. i didi like the fact that it had a full kitchen. it was too close to a busy road and the fact that the buyilding was so old ment you heard all the traffic going passed at all hours.

The motel was very clean and Cosy on a cold winters night. Please note there is no reception open after 3pm. We had difficulty finding our room because the details had been sent through via a different website, which we weren't aware of.

Initially I had a bit of trouble as I arrived after reception closed, and used the wrong entrance. Although it was the address that was listed. Possibly listing both street entrances would help. Fortunately two very helpful staff were around and straightened everything out. The lack of information may have been my own doing as I received an email from expedia saying the accommodation had sent me a message. However it was too much mucking around to access due to login, account, passwords etc. A direct email would be have been far better and possibly saved some confusion at check in. This did not detract from facility or the enjoyment of our stay.

The room was decent for the price but the let down was the staff member. I only saw 1 staff member who spoke very little English and was not informed of anything. The owner was overseas. Tried to negotiate a refund for 1 night because of the expected snow in the Lewis pass. But wasnt clear on any communication so not sure if I am going to get one. Overall, if something happens I wouldn't want to be here
