All'Hotel Beachcombers, gli ospiti apprezzano costantemente la cordialità e la disponibilità del personale e la colazione soddisfacente, segnalando al contempo alcune aree datate, occasionali problemi di manutenzione e difficoltà di accesso dovute all'assenza di un ascensore e a scale interne tra i livelli.

La piscina esterna riscaldata è molto apprezzata ma a volte chiude, e il parcheggio è disponibile anche se la capienza a volte risulta limitata. La posizione è adatta per visitare la spiaggia e Gorey, con un comodo collegamento in autobus, ma le camere fronte strada possono essere rumorose e alcune passeggiate per raggiungere le attrazioni sono più lunghe del previsto. Oltre alla colazione, il ristorante in loco è discreto, ma il menù della cena può risultare ripetitivo e le opzioni senza lattosio sono limitate, con la colazione che inizia dalle 8:00. No lift and each floor had many levels, so we were going up or down, even from the bedroom to the bathroom. I nearly fell into the bathroom during the night. Not a good hotel for people with a leg disability. The staff and service were fair and friendly, but slow. It is located in a good area close to a lovely seaside village.

Nice and cosy hotel. Comfy room, proper size bathroom. Nice and polite staff. Car park is relatively small and overflowed. Tasty breakfast but poor hot drinks selection.

The staff were friendly, my room was on the front of the hotel next to a road which was very noisy from about 6am in the morning, I was woken up 2 mornings at 6am by the refuse men doing there collection. The next morning I was woken up by council workers cleaning up debris from the road. The hotel in general looked tired & in need of refurbishment. The pool was out of use on a few occasions due to pump issues.

Beachcombers was a nice, friendly hotel. I felt very comfortable being there on my own. It had a heated pool, which was a bonus. My room was on the main road, so I expected some traffic noise and it wasn't too bad. I would stay there again.

Second year in a row that I have stayed at The Beachcomers with my mother. Having a hire car there is a nice sized car park. The breakfast has a good variety to choose from. Unfortunately there is no lift but there are easy access rooms. Nice rooms, comfy beds adds to a lovely stay. Will book again in the future.

We had a very enjoyable stay. The pool was clean with lovely fresh towels available. Some inflatables in the pool would have been great for the kids. Service was lovely, everybody was very friendly. No air conditioning, so a bit warm in the rooms although we were given a fan when asked. Would have been great to have a fridge in the room too. Still using single use plastic for shampoo and conditioner which is a little disappointing.

Hotel is fine, some issues: There was only one chair in the room. Also, the bed was on wheels that did not lock and moved around a lot, very strange choice. There was a plumbing issue in the building at the time and as a result the shower pressure was so poor it was virtually unusable. The hotel is very secluded, it's a 25 min walk to the beach and further 15 min walk to Gorey or La Rocque, so if you have limited mobility it will be very difficult to access these locations. Relatively frequent buses go to St Helier though and there is a bus stop close by. Beach towels on offer at the hotel cannot be brought to the beach, they are only for use at the pool. However, the pool was closed due to the weather virtually the whole time. Staff was very kind and the breakfast was generous and tasty.

I stayed at this lovely hotel with my family and enjoyed every minute. Beds were comfy and smelled amazing, rooms were made up every day. Breakfast was yummy, loads of choices. Pool was heated outside, girls spent hours swimming. But the best part of this hotel is the staff, they were all so welcoming from the front of the office to the cleaners and dinning room. No job was to small, they were always able to cater if you needed something. We will definitely come back and stay at this hotel. Highly recommend it, great value. Keep up the excellent work.

The rooms are quite dated and could do with some modernisation. The carpets especially. Good variety for breakfast but not a lot of dairy free options like milks, butters and yogurts. Location was great for being out and away from the main areas but the hotel is located on a main road so it can get quite noisy.

the room was very comfortable and clean and small issue of no tv remote was quickly sorted by staff. Staff on reception and in restaurant were polite and accomodating and tolerant of a large group! It was a very pleasant stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the quality of the service, cleanliness, bar, restaurant, food etc etc. The employees were great too. However, the hotel is not ideal for someone that has impaired mobility or uses a wheelchair, because of steps within the common parts of the building and does not have a lift to access the upper floors' bedrooms. Whilst we were there, some decoration works were commenced indicating a recognition for ongoing maintenance is constant. The hotel would benefit from replacing some carpeting in common parts.

Room was good, bed was very good. Service excellent. Location was excellent. I enjoyed several walks from hotel to local reservoir, the beach (Gorey) etc. Recommended.

A fantastic stay. Everything you need at a very reasonable price. Staff were both friendly and professional, always going that extra mile to offer help. Very convenient location with supermarkets, beach, golf course and cafes within walking distance. A very convenient and very cheap bus service that serves.the island, is on the doorstep.

Ensures bookers know that this hotel does not serve breakfast until 8am. Like many we travelled from Poole on the fast ferry service which means check in by 7am. Money wasted as no early breakfast or food pack for the room was offered. On check in after 3pm room not ready. On last day of our stay went back to use pool at 2pm. Room not done. Advised rooms done for guest who have checked out ready for incoming guests. So why did we have to wait for our room on check in? Eventually at 3.30pm staff knocked on door to service room. Too late did it myself.

The rooms are quite dated and could do with some modernisation. The carpets especially. Good variety for breakfast but not a lot of dairy free options like milks, butters and yogurts. Location was great for being out and away from the main areas but the hotel is located on a main road so it can get quite noisy.

No lift and each floor had many levels, so we were going up or down, even from the bedroom to the bathroom. I nearly fell into the bathroom during the night. Not a good hotel for people with a leg disability. The staff and service were fair and friendly, but slow. It is located in a good area close to a lovely seaside village.

A fantastic stay. Everything you need at a very reasonable price. Staff were both friendly and professional, always going that extra mile to offer help. Very convenient location with supermarkets, beach, golf course and cafes within walking distance. A very convenient and very cheap bus service that serves.the island, is on the doorstep.

The staff were friendly, my room was on the front of the hotel next to a road which was very noisy from about 6am in the morning, I was woken up 2 mornings at 6am by the refuse men doing there collection. The next morning I was woken up by council workers cleaning up debris from the road. The hotel in general looked tired & in need of refurbishment. The pool was out of use on a few occasions due to pump issues.

Beachcombers was a nice, friendly hotel. I felt very comfortable being there on my own. It had a heated pool, which was a bonus. My room was on the main road, so I expected some traffic noise and it wasn't too bad. I would stay there again.

Room was good, bed was very good. Service excellent. Location was excellent. I enjoyed several walks from hotel to local reservoir, the beach (Gorey) etc. Recommended.

Hotel is fine, some issues: There was only one chair in the room. Also, the bed was on wheels that did not lock and moved around a lot, very strange choice. There was a plumbing issue in the building at the time and as a result the shower pressure was so poor it was virtually unusable. The hotel is very secluded, it's a 25 min walk to the beach and further 15 min walk to Gorey or La Rocque, so if you have limited mobility it will be very difficult to access these locations. Relatively frequent buses go to St Helier though and there is a bus stop close by. Beach towels on offer at the hotel cannot be brought to the beach, they are only for use at the pool. However, the pool was closed due to the weather virtually the whole time. Staff was very kind and the breakfast was generous and tasty.

I stayed at this lovely hotel with my family and enjoyed every minute. Beds were comfy and smelled amazing, rooms were made up every day. Breakfast was yummy, loads of choices. Pool was heated outside, girls spent hours swimming. But the best part of this hotel is the staff, they were all so welcoming from the front of the office to the cleaners and dinning room. No job was to small, they were always able to cater if you needed something. We will definitely come back and stay at this hotel. Highly recommend it, great value. Keep up the excellent work.

Second year in a row that I have stayed at The Beachcomers with my mother. Having a hire car there is a nice sized car park. The breakfast has a good variety to choose from. Unfortunately there is no lift but there are easy access rooms. Nice rooms, comfy beds adds to a lovely stay. Will book again in the future.

A comfortable enough room , but sparsely furnished and very thin walls ment I was woken up a few times over night by the next rooms baby. It's also slightly off putting to lay in bed and hear the next room using their bathroom ! The staff were friendly and professional, and breakfast was fantastic . Overall it served the purpose for a 1 night stay,when all I needed was a affordable bed, but wouldn't recommend for a longer stay , or if looking for a holiday destination

Based on the price for this hotel, I would definitely return but ONLY if a room at the rear of the hotel is confirmed. Pros: Good location - walk to the beach, reservoir, Gorey, shops. Breakfast - excellent choice and quality. Good cereals and additional nuts/grains and great quality cooked breakfast. Staff - we only encountered 2 lovely ladies who manned reception and breakfast service. Very polite and helpful. Room service - very thorough and efficient Linen and beds - beautiful clean crisp bedding and soft towels. Very comfortable beds. Cons: Room location - we initially had room 15 which is at the front of the hotel near the very busy road. It was like the traffic was in the room and insufferable. Moved to room 44 at the rear which was super. Windows - even in room 44 unable to leave window open for fresh air.
