SACO Jersey - Merlin House

The space was wonderful and perfect for our 8-day stay. The kitchen is more than adequate. We cooked in most nights. It is ideally located a few minute walk from the Liberation Station with buses all over the island. The staff, Amanda and Martina were amazing and kind. SACO is a rare find. We will definitely be back to Jersey, and we will stay at SACO Jersey when we return.

We stayed in the apartment for a week. We were welcomed on arrival and if we had any questions the manager was only a phone call away for out of hours queries. The apartment was clean and comfortable especially the bed. It was possible to cook meals in the apartment or eat out in the many restaurants close by. There is a washer dryer and a clothes airer in the apartment. The shower was good. There is a corner shop a few minutes walk from the apartment. There are lots of restaurants a few minutes walk away and some that are a 10 minute walk away. There is a car park about a 5 minute walk from the apartment. But it does vary on the amount of time you can park on each floor. Something to be mindful about. Excellent location in St Heiler. We would definitely recommend SACO Jersey and would love to visit again some day.

Spacious and a good price for an all mod cons studio apartment.

Staff are very helpfull. Loved the full kitchen including washing machine. The walk in large shower is fab. Close to high street, bus station & victorian indoor market where the Viena bakery does wonderfull cakes & muffins.

Great communication of how to access the property before we arrived. Very easy to check in and find our room. Nice large apartment, spotlessly clean with a very well equiped kitchen. And little touches like the carton of fresh milk in the fridge were a very welcome touch. The only negative we had was that renovations were taking place in the apartment above ours. And whilst we totally understand that renovations need to take place, workmen starting at 7.30am with heavy banging and drilling wasnt great. If they had started a little later, 9am for example or we had been warned ahead of the work happening that would of been much better. But that hasn't put us off returning, if we come back to jersey we would stay here again.

Easy to access the apartment on arrival. Very welcoming greeting from Amanda in reception. Clean apartmemt with wo derfully scented toiletries in the bathroom. Kitchen well stocked with teatowels, wasing up materials so we didn't need to buy anything.

Lovely apartment very clean close to town centre 5 minutes walk .lovely bathroom and walk in shower full size kitchen washing machine dishwasher lots of tablets for them m/wave. Good and secure lots of recycling bags for bins .very friendly staff we stayed a week longer we will recommended to everyone thank you still here till 12 September

Everything was clean, tidy, and cozy. The staff was wonderfully kind and the hotel/apartment itself was bright and spacious.

Can’t rate this amazing place highly enough! Huge apartment, spotless, comfortable and close to town but really quiet and peaceful. The staff are absolutely wonderful too, made my stay all the nicer for their warm welcome back.

5 minute walk from the bus station with lots of restaurants and shops in the area. Clean and tidy. Staff very friendly and helpful.

One bedroomed apartment in the heart of St Helier, opposite the Jersey museum and just a few minutes walk from the shops and restaurants. We were on the second floor at the rear of the property, so no view, but in the winter that didn't matter. The apartment was clean and well equipped, plus milk, tea and coffee in the kitchen on arrival. Communication both prior to arrival and during our stay was excellent, we would be very happy to return.

Fantastic welcome from Amanda. Our one bed apartment did not have much of an outlook but was spacious, clean and had everything required for our short break. Close to centre of St Helier and excellent base for exploring Jersey

Amanda was fabulous, offering advice on what to see and do. The studio was spacious and very well equipped. Great location close to a parking station, across the road from jersey museum which is great: (don’t miss it) and a short walk to the centre of town and numerous restaurants.

Third time I've stayed here, always get a friendly welcome and enjoy my stay , it's close to everything and very comfortable, it's the first place I try to book when I visit jersey and will continue to do so on future visits

We stayed for two nights and checked in on a Sunday. Unfortunately, there was no one on site at check-in and no one answered the phone initially. We were very lucky that other guests happened to arrive and let us in, allowing us to find the key ourselves. Without their help, we would have been completely stuck. The room itself was fine. It was tidy, comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. However, after returning around 9pm on our first evening, we discovered there was no hot water. Despite pressing the boost button on the cylinder, the hot water quickly ran out, meaning three out of four of us were unable to shower properly. Repeated attempts to contact support that evening were unsuccessful, which was extremely frustrating, especially as we were travelling with a one-year-old child. The following morning, we finally met a member of staff. They were genuinely very friendly and helpful, which we appreciated. However, by that point the experience had already been disappointing. We were told that hot water is only available between 4am and 10am, and 4pm and 10pm. We made sure to return earlier that evening. However, once again there was no hot water. This time, after eventually reaching a staff member, we were given access to a neighbouring room so we could shower, which helped us get through the night. Overall, the property itself is nice and suitable for families, and the staff we met were kind and approachable. However, the lack of clear instructions, is deadly.

Great hotel in a great location

A very central location, easy to find and staff so welcoming on arrival. Lots to see and explore so a great base as bus station just 5 minute walk away. We stayed on an apartment which had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Would highly recommend and be happy to stay here again.
