The staff were EXCEPTIONAL. From the check in with Ricky to Jerry at the restaurant and flow lounge. There were other staff at the Flow Lounge who were so attentive, and friendly. It was lovely. Their English was also excellent! Now knowing of this hotel in shanghai, I will try to stay here each time I visit.

Spa facilities pool were great , breakfast nice but room condition a little tired compared to other hotels I have stayed in Shanghai for similar price bracket. Eco friendly with no use of single plastics but this meant I felt short of things I would normally expect and having to ask for them felt like extra effort that I didn’t want to do. Room smelt a little Smoky.

Pros Great location Nice pool and spa area with nice staff Nice bed sheets Nice view Cons Air con was very temperamental switching itself on and off Light switches didn’t link properly to the correct setting - impossible to turn off just one bedroom lamp, foyer setting would switch on something else.. Lack of shelf space in the bathroom Door was sliding and didn’t close entirely (see picture) Had to take own cases up to room - surprising for a 5* hotel

Nos encantó! Hotel excelente para viajes de negocios o viaje con familia. Sus instalaciones están en excelentes condiciones. Muy buen buffet para el desayuno. Las zonas de GYM y piscina muy recomendable si te gusta entrenar. Súper recomendado.

Super nice hotel in a central area of Shanghai! Easy to walk around, just next to the metro station and also fast to get a taxi if needed. The hotel was nice, the cleaning service was excellent and also the reception was helpful. Breakfast was also good, but depending on the hour a lot of things were not replaced when finished. In conclusion, really good hotel. I will stay there again!

Check-in war etwas langsam, aber der Staff war sehr freundlich, leider meinen immer noch viele Einheimische, sie brauchen nicht anzustehen und drängeln vor, ohne das das Personal sie darauf hinweist. Die Zimmer sind sauber , aber etwas in die Jahre gekommen und "old Style", ich war das Letzte Mal vor über 10 Jahren im Swissotel. Frühstück gut und ausreichend, die Lage sehr gut beim Jing An temple, mit vielen Restaurants und Läden. Sehr nahe an der Subway station, nur etwa 5 minuten zu laufen.

Check-in war etwas langsam, aber der Staff war sehr freundlich, leider meinen immer noch viele Einheimische, sie brauchen nicht anzustehen und drängeln vor, ohne das das Personal sie darauf hinweist. とても清潔でセンスもよく快適に過ごせました。朝食もバリエーションが多くどれも美味しくて満足しています。残念だったことは部屋が清掃されていなかったこと。Clean Up済みにチェックがついたカードだけドアに差し込んでありましたが、全く清掃されておりませんでした。ドアノブにClean UPの下げ札を出していなかった自分が悪いのでしょうが、このようなことはこれまでの経験でなかったことですので残念でした。

Check-in war etwas langsam, aber der Staff war sehr freundlich, leider meinen immer noch viele Einheimische, sie brauchen nicht anzustehen und drängeln vor, ohne das das Personal sie darauf hinweist. Die Zimmer sind sauber , aber etwas in die Jahre gekommen und "old Style", ich war das Letzte Mal vor über 10 Jahren im Swissotel. Frühstück gut und ausreichend, die Lage sehr gut beim Jing An temple, mit vielen Restaurants und Läden. Sehr nahe an der Subway station, nur etwa 5 minuten zu laufen.

Super nice hotel in a central area of Shanghai! Easy to walk around, just next to the metro station and also fast to get a taxi if needed. The hotel was nice, the cleaning service was excellent and also the reception was helpful. Breakfast was also good, but depending on the hour a lot of things were not replaced when finished. In conclusion, really good hotel. I will stay there again!

The hotel has a great location with walking distance to great shopping and tourist activities. However, it starts to feel old and a bit worn down. The breakfast buffet is not living up to the price. I would recommend to choose one of the local restaurants around the corner where you can get a better breakfast for less than half price.

駅からも近く、部屋は広くて清潔で、朝食は種類も多いし、どれもこれも美味しく良いホテルでした。スタッフの英語がとても聞き取りやすかったです。友達の部屋とコネクティングルームにしてもらいたくてリクエストしていたのですが、ちゃんとリクエストが通っていて、コネクティングルームが用意されていました。バスタブも大きくて使いやすかったです。

Nos encantó! Hotel excelente para viajes de negocios o viaje con familia. Sus instalaciones están en excelentes condiciones. Muy buen buffet para el desayuno. Las zonas de GYM y piscina muy recomendable si te gusta entrenar. Súper recomendado.

I’ve never stayed at a hotel before that went from a sense of grandeur to an utter disappointment quite so quickly as the Swissotel Grand. And that’s all down to a wretched piece of room design that leaves a large gap between bathroom and toilet and the bedroom. Not a one off, I saw THREE rooms, all had the same issue. You can see, hear and smell someone doing their business and that’s just not a thing we are used to. The Grand Hyatt has TWO doors for privacy, here you’re part of the show with your partner. No. Not the kind of experience expected of a 4 or 5 star hotel. So we left the next day. Fair enough the hotel didn’t make a fuss. But seriously, fix your rooms!! Eugh!!!!
