It was older so no matter how clean it actually was, it still looked dirty and run down. Layout felt unsafe in the back building because there were so many blind corners and stairwells. Wouldn't stop there again.

The lobby was clean and nice. Old hotel with construction being done to the property. Room was clean outdated. Staff was very friendly. Could use more outside lights.

This hotel is the least expensive in the area, so you can expect it to be just ok for a nights stay. The room was good, clean, good bed. The building looks like a long term construction project. If you book through Expedia they will want a $100 damage deposit upon check in, they wanted a photo copy of my credit card including the code so I decided to leave a cash deposit instead, be aware of this policy.

Floor was very dirty and needed scrubbing. Parking lot unsafe. Two of our guests fell. One broke her arm. Lounge chair was shredded from cats or some other creature. Tub faucet pulled away from the wall. No soap was provided. The entire room lacked maintenance and needed updating. It'll be my last choice to ever stay in an Econo Lodge again.

Property was run down. They were doing some kind of construction to one part of the hotel. The room we had, the toilet did not flush. They put us in the wing that was under construction and it leaned really bad. Since it was just one night stay and already late, we didn't want to complain about that. There were several people hanging outside and dealing with cars that came and went in parking lot.

The only thing that sucked was the parking honestly

PARKING FOR HANDICAPED WAS NONE EXISTANT FOR THE ROOMS

Property was good and had places under construction. We need a place to stay while visiting family and it served what we needed and wanted.

Doesn't have elevators, inconvenient to carry luggage. Noisy if you are on the first floor, you can hear people walking on the room upstairs.

I was grateful to have a room, i wish i could have paid less for what it was. I couldn't park near my room due to parking lot hazard. I didn't feel safe getting to my room

I was in one complaining about seeing a roach and the refrigerator not working. The front lady sent me to another room where I seen another roach in there. I felt like the room was dirty and roach infested.

The "smoke free" handicap room had an awful stinch. Purchased air freshener from the local store to help. The room needs a DEEP cleaning.

The room was not very clean, window curtains has holes in it. When checking in we had to put a cash/ credit card deposit for $100 for using a non smoking room.

Room was really dirty. Lots of hair on bathroom floor when we got there (room 107). Dirty in corners of room. Furniture and lamp in need of replacement. Moved to another room and was not much better. Bed headboard was broken and hanging off wall. Door to outside did not latch well. Bath door stuck. Better for you to do a remodeling job on this old hotel.

It was cheap. You get what you pay for. Mold all over tub. Toilet barely flushed. Door locks made me uncomfortable. Stank of weed everywhere. Quiet enough though. Only slept there so not terrible.

This was the worst place I have ever stayed. It was disgusting and very dirty. Ciggarette holes in thr bedding. It smelt bad. Feces on the toilet, floors filthy, and and very diturbing odor in the room.

Front desknwas very rude and definitely not welcoming. The romm was ehh. The lamp was rusting and the remote forbthe tv barely worked. But hey it wasnt an expensive hotel sonyoubgwt what you pay for. But the real deal killer was when i went to use the shower and there were bugs crawling around the tub.

Smelled like smoke in the room. Left almost as soon as I got there

There were roaches everywhere.Cigerrette burns in the sheets.

Up most of the night thanks to upstairs room being loud and obnoxious, did let front desk know. Even though they continued most of the night. Never again.

The room had a broken electric socket, the remote was broke in half , there was something on the tank of the toilet I don't know what it was but overall the place was a nice place to stay and the staff was very nice and kind.

The bed was so comfortable!! The room had the old heating and air unit- but I loved it! My room was so comfortable! The table and chairs looked like they came from Hobby Lobby - they were so cute.

The shower lad a leak so there was water all over the floor when we showered. The water also drained slower than it filled, so was standing in a pool of water during my shower. And the beds were extremely uncomfortable. But, we needed a hotel and it was one of the only affordable ones left that wasnt sold out

Tables and chairs were sticky. The window had a huge crack inside. The location was close to interstate 85 and a few restaurants.

There was a water leak in front of toilet and what appeared to be black mold.

It was clean, comfortable, and functional. Don’t need a lot more from a motel room.

Thank you to all the friendly staff -from the office to the rooms and even the property grounds. I also enjoyed the experience if seeing and meeting the kind amd respectful owners of the hotel who were always on site willing yo lend aha d if needed or to help anyway they could.. this is a wonderful hote to stay alone or with friends and family!! Give it a try and book today- You wont be disappointed!!

Honestly, the check-in process was horrible. We waited almost 30 mins to check-in because they were being cussed out at the desk by another tenant. When we got to the counter, we were told our room was already paid for but we needed to let them take a picture of an additional card just in case or leave $100 cash and we would get it back once we checked out. The site lists $100 cash deposit not to “take a picture”. I thought that was very suspicious. When we got to the room on side of building ; parking lot was dirty, parking spaces were too faded to see where to park, and streets lights were dim. We arrived to a dirty room: dirty towels( rags and towels were brown and torn), dirty walls, dirty shower (there was a used “condom” wrapper sitting on the side of shower), the floor by the toilet was dirty along with by sink was dirty. Behind the bed is dirty, a flashlight, and a medicine bottle that was more than likely used for drugs. We also had to put a chair up to the door because it doesn’t stay closed properly. The pictures listed on Expedia were very misleading because when we actually made it to the property. It was not the updated, colorful, and bright images that were shown. Hopefully in future there will be some upgrades. This was me and my husbands first time in this area and we will not be back due to this bad experience.

The room was very clean. i had the supplies that i needed in the room. i locked my self out and the staff were quick to give me another key. it was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. a great stay

This hotel was dirty, noisy, and felt unsafe throughout my visit. The staff was incredibly rude and unhelpful. You’re only given two towels, and have to repeatedly ask for more. Definitely would not recommend—spend your money elsewhere.

Allows pets with a $25 charge. Clean and convenient to most of Salisbury.

I love the room chill and relaxing. Im not far from anything like food places and stores.. i can walk to the ABC store aswell..it a nice place..

Stayed at Econolodge for a cheap place near a hospital. Got about what I expected, which is a room that was relatively clean, but not well maintained.

Very convenient for the trip

Overall you get what you pay for. Some rooms are pet friendly (had a dog barking next to us). Not what I expected to wake up to. Rooms are older and in need of updates. Towels are cheap so bring your own. There is a cash deposit required. Breakfast is very basic and you can not take it to your room without a charge.

Rooms to small. To much noise of people drinking , Can hear lady next room over talking on phone . No area grass for animals to pee and poop . Had to go to another building . The office for contential breakfast . Business wasn’t really professional like .

Free breakfast was good but by 630 am to 7 am waffle mix empty an not that many options little bit high on prices but nobody messed with my car or my room

The first room that was given to me smelled like rotten feet and the tub had brown dirt in it oh and don’t let me forget a dead roach in the room near the bed. Front desk lady was rude during breakfast and I’m not understanding why you have to sit and eat in front of the employees that sit and watch you take evey bute. I hate it there and will NEVER stay again. If there was a choice between sleeping in my car and there my car would be the choice. DO BETTER. Then have a nerve to charge a $100 deposit for the raggedy rooms. STOP

Breakfast an coffee was good

We had a very nice overnight stay. The front desk lady was very personable. Our room was very clean and we felt safe at the property. The breakfast had limited options but was adequate. The facility is old but the renovations are nice. It is a good economical place to stay. The only downfall we saw was a half inch gap under the door, but it closed and locked ok.

The breakfast was fine. I enjoyed the quietness.
