Sixty LES

The property is clean and modern. Beds are comfortable And rooms have plenty of space. The location is right across the street from 2nd Ave. F train Which is very convenient! The only negatives I would call out are the Pool hours- They close 530 on weekdays and 7 PM on weekends, and the trash on the streets. I’m not sure why the city of New York would do curbside collection in the middle of July.

We really enjoyed our stay at the sixty les hotel. Great opportunity around the lower eastside, great food (15 min from chinatown and little italy) and transportation opportunities. The only “downside” is the pool cold temperature and openning hours during our stay. We recommand it!

The hotel was decent and the staff were as nice as you’d get in NY. We drove from the south to NY for Thanksgiving and found that the hotel didn’t have its own parking garage. There’s a few a couple blocks away for $50/24 hrs. I paid $1700 for Wed-Sat which seemed like an overkill since nothing was complementary, not even small bottles of water. Only positive I’d say for anyone traveling and staying here is that the subway is less than a 5min walk.

The Sixty LES was the perfect location for our father-son trip to NY. It was conveniently located in Lower Eastside of Manhattan nearly opposite a metro station. The view towards the financial district was amazing. The bed was comfortable and the linen have been changed regularly. Lot’s of bars, cafes and restaurants nearby. The pool was only available until 5pm and the gym and the SpA were located in the cellar.

Great location and nice staff. Room was perfect for a small NYC room with a good view! Workout room nice with sauna but treadmills all out of service. Quiet lobby. Lovely lounge on the 2nd floor for reading or meeting friends.

We loved the 3rd floor pool. The staff was great.

IF YOU WANT TO SLEEP,,, AVOID! An on site nightclub effects most room Lots of Terrible staff. Unwanted early morning calls, cleaners knocking early. Pool unclean, a plaster off someones foot was stuck to the floor next to it for TWO days with no one taking ownership or dealing. AVOID

Shoutout to the awesome help and attention from Joseph and Destiny who helped execute a surprise for my friends birthday! We were upgraded to the penthouse and had a lovely stay. Overall the hotel is average , def needs a remodel. Rooms need deeper cleaning, dirty bathtub etc and our shower didn’t drain. Staff was super helpful with bringing things we needed and also accommodated a slightly later checkout. The blue ribbon inside the hotel is great but very pricy. Beds are comfortable. The elevators are possibly the worst I’ve ever seen, they take forever to arrive and constantly packed. Our elevator in the penthouse broke and one of us was stuck in there . Then both elevators broke. It takes 15 min average to get back to your room.

Courteous staff. Pool closes at 5:30 PM which is disappointing.

Great hotel. Great service. Room was gorgeous. Loved the pool and our balcony. Jimmy was so helpful, from our bags to buckets of ice to helping with our stay. Pool was sweet. Maybe water the plants or replace the dead ones. Also, pool area didnt seem clean next morning. Room was large and luxurious. Wet room with bath & shower. Wow - could have spent the whole stay in there!! Elevators were a bit moody, but overall a beautiful stay.

So I read a lot of bad reviews before booking and made a point to contact the hotel in advance and get my questions answered. I asked if they have a coffee machine, they told me yes and that there are pods in the room. There was one pod and a Dixie cup for this bitter brew. They had said they also have fresh coffee in the lobby daily. They didn’t say that was only until 10:30 am. We had one day to sleep later and I went downstairs at 10:35 and that’s when I found out it’s only until 10:30. When I arrived to check in they told me they were putting a $500 hold on my credit card and was told that it’s in case we purchase anything from their “snack bar”. Well that was a lie. We didn’t eat any of the food in their snack tray in our room yet got charged $160 after we left. I emailed and asked for an invoice. Basically they charged another $40 per night (4) and called it a “guest experience fee”!! I also asked in advance if the room has a mini fridge, so I could plan, and was told yes. But the mini fridge was stocked with all of their foods to entice you to buy them for a phenomenal fee! We couldn’t fit anything of ours in it!! As for the room, I was traveling with 2 adult children and no one ever said that the entire bathroom and shower had glass walls!! Awkward! And there was scotch tape stuck on the walls from prior occupants. And the bugs 🐜 that we’re on all of us every night, turns out they live in the night tables. BEWARE

I really like the area and the staff were very nice and accommodating, but there were tiny roaches in the room and one dead one in the bed. Traumatized.

Everything about this was fine. The hotel was fine. The room was fine. The overall hotel is a little beat down but as clean as you can get something old.

The room was pretty bad. Completely smelled of mold and contained stains throughout on the furniture. I checked out immediately

Haven't traveled much since the pandemic, so cleanliness mattered! Passed on other hotels due to reviews citing lack of cleanliness. Happy to say the lobby, elevators and our room were spotless and well maintained. Nicely designed/stylish room – the balcony had excellent blackout curtains – we kept the fan on all night to minimize street noise - a must in NYC! The glass dividing the bathroom from the bed meant that it was hard to use the bathroom at night without waking the other person... the bathroom lights light up the entire room. Water pressure was excellent for showering. No mirror with good lighting outside of the bathroom. It seemed to be getting more crowded as we checked out on Thursday - that's to be expected. Everyone we encountered, from the front desk to the housekeeper on our floor was pleasant + professional and other guests were congenial. Some seemed flummoxed by the need to swipe the room card so the elevator functioned - that design is a security plus however! Coffee, teas + lemon water available in the lobby in the morning + the water seemed always available. Plenty of restaurants in the neighborhood + we could walk to the indie theaters we like. Subway lines nearby took us to museums + galleries easily. A bit of wear/tear (a bit of grout in bathroom crumbling, desk a little warped) but overall maintained well. A tad pricey - but safe, clean and great location - will certainly consider returning - after weighing prices for our next stay...

Good property and location. But the lobby smelled like weed all the time and it is not well lit. It would be nice if it were bright.

Hotel wasn’t bad just not very clean inside the rooms

The location is perfect - which is definitely the reason why I will stay at this hotel again however, what I didn’t like was the noise from the other hotel guest, which is something that the 60 cannot really do it much about. One thing I did want to mention is the cleanliness of the room. The floors weren’t cleaned very well nor was the sink and the bathroom. On my final day, there was literally yellow water coming from the faucet.

Super noisy at night on weekends, must be next to a nightclub. Otherwise great property. Rooms very spacious for NYC.

Price was decent. My room: switched didnt work, there are no convenient places to charge phone computer. Needs more outlets. and the room was a little run down

Got a corner room with a view towards mid Manhattan. Awesome! Katz deli right around the corner!

Very dark ambiance

stayed at the Sixty LES this past weekend, and it was everything I needed and more. The hotel is comfy, stylish, and super convenient. The front desk staff were efficient and quick, making check-in a breeze. The room itself was fantastic the bed was incredibly comfortable, and I honestly got some of the best sleep I’ve had in a long time. The shower was amazing, and the overall vibe of the space made me feel right at home. The pool was a highlight, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. On top of that, the hotel’s proximity to everything in the Lower East Side made exploring the neighborhood effortless. Overall, a wonderful stay. I’ll definitely be back.

Poor lighting in my room, no coffee/tea service. Only had espresso. No luggage stand, I had to leave my luggage opened on the floor which was very cumbersome. Shower was hard to figure out and I never did figure out how to set the alarm clock. The Hotel was going for the Modern look but neglected to take into consideration ease of use. I would not stay here again.

Sixty LES is like a nightclub with some rooms where people can lie in bed and feel the bass reverberating for hours while trying to sleep. DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU CANNOT SLEEP WITH LOUD BASS SHAKING YOUR BED! We stayed on the third floor and the nightclub is on the seventh floor and the bass was so loud, we could feel the bed shaking. We asked about moving to a more quiet room and were told that the higher you stay, the louder it gets. We maybe got 3 hours of sleep each night we stayed there. Also, I asked for two extra sets of towels FIVE TIMES over the course of 48 hours before they were finally brought to our room.

The location was great and staff were friendly. There was a screeching/rattling noise from the elevator that was starting to drive us crazy.

The rooms were OK, there’s no privacy in the bathroom, the glass doors are like having no doors at all. Every night you had to call down to get a water glass or wine glass. They did not leave them in the room. Also, if you went to the restaurant in the hotel, which was very good. You could not charge anything to your room. Everything was separate. Location was ok

When checking out, I informed my email address to the reception as the receipt will be sent via email. However, after the day, I didn’t receive any email. I contacted the hotel by both this hotels.com chat and their email address (2 times). However, so far, I am not receiving any email for 2 week now. So that I am not able to claim the reimbursement to my company as this was the business trip. I hope I can get the reply from them as soon as possible. The room and staying experience itself is okay, but the problem is that I cannot receive the receipt and no reply at all.

I would have given a higher rating as there were many things to like about this hotel except for two things - first there was no complimentary wine as promised, even after asking. More importantly, I left some belongings behind and despite messaging twice (once via the app, once on email), I got no response and they still have my stuff. Not at all impressed.

Jimmy gave us great service at the front desk. Helped us find restaurants. Facilitated Check in for entire group of ten.

They’re understaffed. I asked for ice one night and the guy said he couldn’t get it for me because he was the only one there. Also when I called to get my free bottle of wine, they claim they didn’t have the key and I had to call back the next day.

Arrived at hotel around 1pm. Asked to be notified if the room was avaiable before check in at 3pm. I got back to the hotel at 4pm and my room still wasn't ready. Come to find out my room was given away to

Someone stole my Gucci slides from my room when I left it change rooms. This is unacceptable and I will never stay here again. Don’t leave your your valuables in the room because the staff will steal them.

The best hotel I have ever stayed at in NYC. From beginning to end it was nothing short of amazing. The service was top notch. Jimmy at reception made my birthday the best day ever. Sending ice and glasses to the room because he saw we had champagne to celebrate my birthday. Free drink cards for the bar. Reservations. Just everything. Couldn’t say enough wonderful things.

Staying at Sixty LES always is a cool vibe being in the heart of the lower east side with a boutique style pool not too big, not too small. This is my 4th time staying there solo as a staycation. This last stay at the end of July 2024 was amazing and Marcos and Destiny made sure I was taken care of and were so accommodating from check in and throughout my stay and understand hospitality!

I arrived for 3 pm check-in on Sunday and had to wait 2 hours with a baby for check-in. They front desk seemed not to know what was going on or how to get a hold of anyone to find out when the room would be ready.

Had a wonderful experience here! Staff were so helpful, they made everything super easy. The view from my room was amazing. LOVE the free water and coffee/tea in the lobby! Only thing is the club is quite loud, so if you’re sensitive to that, try to get a room farther away from it if possible.

The Hotel is in the heart of Lower East Side with a lot of great restaurants nearby. We will definitely come back!

This place is located in a convenient area. Parking is two blocks away but not far at all. There is stores in the area to walk to like corner stores, clothing stores, restaurants. Just a good area.

One of our "go to" hotels when we visit NYC. Located in a vibrant and convenient neighborhood, we always enjoy our stays here.

Stayed at Sixty LES for a girls weekend and it was a great time. Amazing restaurant, prime location close to shopping, many restaurants, and a robust nightlife. Staff was amazing. I highly recommend!

Staff was very helpful and welcoming. Great spot for easy access to areas. The food was great around the hotel and loved to sushi from their restaurant. Great stay!

The size of the rooms for downtown NYC was great and well priced. I didn’t go with the basic room though. Convenient to have Blue Ribbon bar to sit at and snack at, lobby course were very nice, too. The neighborhood is awesome. The service was good. I’ll be back for the pool and sauna when open.

Better than expected! Staff were all very kind and helpful. Social club was fun & the gym is a decent size to get a good workout in. Only downsize was there was an issue with pipes which caused an obnoxious humming sound on and off.

The hotel offers clean and updated rooms. The showers are luxurious. Great staff, comfortable lounge area on the second floor, and the Sushi restaurant is amazing!

It wasn’t as nice as the pics looked online. I asked for something to be brought to my room and they said no prob and never did it. Room service comes in a to go bag and they won’t take your order on the phone, you have to pay and handle separately online and then if you need modifications or anything else, you have to get the front desk to get them to pick up the phone so it’s such a hassle. I really didn’t love this hotel. I made do for 2 days but not going back. It felt like a 3 star hotel.

Its attention for details transforms this hotel’s looks. It’s a fine property but not very spacious. I wish I had options for the pillows. They kept me up all night but it could be a preference thing. The restaurant in the hotel is one of my favorites in nyc. Would go back for that alone!
