EV charge points installed but have not been made live so make sure you contact them to check this before booking. I specifically filtered my search for EVCP hotels and booked this hotel on that basis. Overall the stay was ok. The air conditioning in my room was not working so it was very warm, but the very friendly and helpful staff provided me with a fan. The only other issue I had was the continuous barking of a dog in the next room. Unfortunately the owners were attending a wedding at the hotel and left the dog, which did not cope well. I reported to staff and they spoke to the owners but this did not result in any change. The dog barked from 13:30 to 22:30. The hotel really should give more authority to staff to address multiple complaints as a result of a dog barking but there was nothing they could do apart from ask the owners to not leave it alone, which they did not feel they could do.

Worst holiday inn I have ever stayed at and travel extensively weekly, the air con unit in the room had not been serviced for a long time. Awful odour in the room, rubbish overflowing the skip into the car park, broken fridges and appliances in the car park. This is not your usual holiday inn standard avoid

Technically I had two bookings which we joined up on arrival at the hotel. Submitted a complaint at the end of the stay due to issues to do with a broken fire alarm which started at 6am which went off every 30 mins until approx 4pm. Despite extending room we found we were locked out when came back in evening. Wrong menus in the room for room service. Broken electrics and broken telephone in room. No cleaning for second night. Bar staff untrained in evening. Asking customers how to make drinks. Neglectful management, staff were friendly but understaffed. Coffee at breakfast was awful.
