Hilton Garden Inn-Springfield, MA

So close to Basketball Hall of Fame. Kinda bummed the pool heater was broken. Otherwise our stay was nice.

Pool and hot tub were great. Breakfast was good, could have had more options but overall good

Everything was wonderful from the friendly staff to the extremely comfortable and clean room. The reason we chose the hotel was due to location and the pool. The pool and amenities did not disappoint.

Pool was not heated and jacuzzi didn’t work

We were greeted by two friendly people. They told us about where everything was located in the building. Our room was clean and convenient to the elevator. Breakfast was good. The pool and Jacuzzi area was clean and not over run by lots of people.parking was convenient.We would definitely stay here again.😊

I booked this hotel specifically due to it's distance to Six Flags and it having a pool. I called before check in to see how late the pool was open, and the desk clerk told me that it was open until 10p. Upon arrival, my husband found that the pool was closed and had been. The clerk did not give him an explanation why I was told it was open until 10. My kids were quite disappointed.

The hotel was good, but the brekfast was all over the place. On our first day about half the stuff was missing. We didn't figure this out until the next day when things were a lot better. Food quality was hotel standard. Hot tub was actually hot, which was great.

Homeless sketchy people in the lobby and staff doing nothing about it. Construction noise starting at 8am on the weekend.

Haven’t stayed for a few years, was surprised how aged hotel was. Place was booked solid weekend I was there and only had 1 elevator working.

Very disappointed that I did not get any Hilton points due to booking through Expedia. Why does Expedia ask for frequent flyers/stays numbers? Hotel needs renovations of rooms - we had signs of mildew on our bathroom ceiling. Hotel cleans rooms only upon request and room cost does not reflect any discounted prices yet “usual”services are upon request only.

Very clean hotel and staff was amazing.

Overall a fine stay for a short layover, friendly staff, easy check in. However, the cleaning in the bathroom was lacking…there was hair and some kind of red sauce on the hand soap dispenser in the bathroom and a big hairball near the trash in the bathroom. There was also some sticky leftover stuff in the refrigerator. Please improve your cleaning practices. Thank you.

Terrible service. the sheets on the beds had stains and when asked to clean them no one bothered to help

The property was exceptionally clean, the bed was comfortable, and all the necessary amenities were provided. The staff was friendly and courteous.

Hotel needs some upgrades. Mattress was warped and majority of the furniture was chipped. Shower water pressure was very weak. Worst was the smell of human feces on the corner of the warped bed. Would not recommend and would not stay there again.

Very pleasant last minute stay. Quick and easy check-in and the whole facility was clean and comfortable.

Check in went well, the staff was very polite and made small talk while the computers were struggling to check us in. It was incredibly busy but the wait wasn’t too bad getting checked in. The room was clean but you could hear every single room around you including the one directly below you through the vents so it was loud listening to everyone and the dog barking under us. We left for the evening and didn’t return back until after 11, but when we did return there was vomit all over the floor and wall next to the elevators that hadn’t been cleaned up it just had towels thrown across it on the floor and the wall was still in pure sight so that was pretty gross. We had dinner delivered and the hotel didn’t want our dasher bringing our food to our door but eventually they let him up and he left it there for us which we received and enjoyed. The beds were clean, the shower was great, the tv was average (it worked but not great). Only other complaint was that the housekeeping staff came in our room an hour before check out and asked us “why we hadn’t checked out yet” and seemed annoyed that we were still packing everything up. I asked the front desk when we were checking out if check out had been at 11 and I was just misinformed but they said “no, why?” And I explained what housekeeping said and she made a face of ‘ahhh yeah that happens’ and said “well we are just busy tonight and trying to get ahead of it for cleaning” but overall it’s wasn’t a bad stay. Very comfy pillows. :)

Small expensive pantry to purchase snacks and water. Disppoinyed that we found food from the previous guests in our fridge. And no compensation for the garbage found.

This hotel is in need of an upgrade, it’s worn and dated. The furniture was worn and chipped, the upholstered chair looked worn and dirty. While my room looked clean at first glance, it’s in dire need of a deep clean. The shower had plenty of hot water, but the pressure dies off after about 30 seconds. My room faced the parking lot but the window has only a sheer curtain and there’s no way to close the heavier curtain to block out light because they’re fixed to the wall and don’t extend over the window. I woke at 3am because the lights went on in the parking lot and lit up the room as if it were daytime (think stadium lights, VERY bright). The noise from the hallway and the connecting room was loud. I could hear everything going on in the other room and hallway; no privacy to speak of. The connecting door to that room was unlocked when I arrived. The mattress was not great and should be replaced. There is a railway alongside the hotel, freight trains go by at least once an hour, it’s very loud and lasts about a minute. The only positive I have is the staff, everyone was very friendly, however, the front desk staff should know not to announce names and room locations for solo female travelers upon check in while there are other travelers waiting in line behind them. Please respect each guest’s privacy. I also liked that there was a security guard/vehicle patrolling the parking lot throughout the night; Springfield is not the safest place. I would not stay here again.

No shade to block the lights from the parking lot

Room was clean and comfortable and in a convenient location for us. Beds didn’t look or feel like queen size but I double checked with front desk and was assured they were queen sized.

This hotel is in a great location and the staff is very helpful. The pool and hot tub were very well maintained. The rooms very a little dated, sheets a little scratchy, but otherwise comfortable. I would stay there again if in the area.

Room had an older feel to it. Wallpaper in the bathroom peeling off. Could do with some upgrades.

The rooms need a refresh. There's no USB ports. Fixtures are dated. Breakfast buffet was confusing. Part is self serv, part is table service. Its Prix Fixe so why is there table service?

Hotel and staff were great but you could hear the cars revving their engines all night and the bass is their radios. Walls were also paper thin and could hear your neighbors.

The shower dripped all night

The staff was so helpful when I called so My partner (who was not on the reservation) could check in with his son. I had an emergency and had to drive my mother home from the hospital and would be arriving very late. Everything about our stay was excellent and the staff was very helpful and just plain nice.

Staff was amazing! The morning staff especially went above and beyond.

My stay was wonderful and I will definitely stay again! From Sarah at the front desk going above & beyond helping to find a room that had not had pets for a while (do to my son’s allergies) to the friendliness of every front desk/wait staff/management I interacted with, everything was awesome! I have OCD and the room was so clean I did not feel the need to Clorox wipe everything. If not having free/affordable breakfast is a problem for you, they have sit down and order breakfast at very reasonable prices and great service. The area in general is not the safest but I felt perfectly safe while at the hotel. Thank you to all who made our stay wonderful! Shout out to UNO restaurant next door for great priced lunch deals and delicious food and great service as well!

Mike at the front desk was the best hotel worker ever. Helped us add a night without needing to change rooms. He deserves a raise.

The staff was pretty blasé and gave off the vibe that they didn’t want to be there. I mean I don’t blame them, Springfield Mass is so lame but it definitely affected our stay. My husband and I felt a little uncomfortable. But it was very clean and the rooms were decent

Manager on dust was rude, had to re-book due to price increase at check in though the Expedia and I am a diamond member.

When we first went to check on we had to wait for the nice lady to finish her “very important” personal call. It listed a bar in the amenities this is not true you have to walk to uno’s. We went to six flags less than 10 minutes away no shuttle offered. Got back to the hotel that night the maid could not be bothered to clean any of three rooms we rented was pretty disappointed the bed wasn’t made or towels restocked. Watch your bank account while you are there. We got breakfast one morning and paid cash looked at are account they billed it to the room and pocketed the cash. The front desk did take the charge away but I wonder how many people that they scammed that way and didn’t notice. I will not stay here again and don’t recommend it to anyone such a shame because it’s located in a good area.

The area is no the best. Lots of homeless people sadly. The breakfast is not all inclusive like most other properties like this.

Hotel was right down the street from MGM. Perfect place to stay if going to the casino. Hotel was clean and staff was friendly. Be mindful of area events and that a lot of people who stay at casino do come here after. It was loud at 2-4am with music and constant people in hallway. Didn't sleep good because of this. Not fault of hotel just the location and people coming from where ever they were for the night. You are in the city.

In the same area as a few restaurants and the Basketball Hall of Fame. Walking distance to the Casino and other restaurants in the area. Also right next to the highway.

Everything from check-in to checkout was great Staff was very pleasant and knowledgeable! Rooms are clean! I'll say it again... the rooms are clean! Breakfast is avaliable for a fee, I believe $16/$17. Should be free, my opinion. Overall, great stay & will recommend

I did not like the misleading website. On the websits it said there is Pay per view options . There was no pay per view so you could not rent a movie. The televisions are so outdated that you can not stream any o movie apps. So if you are a movie buff a d you want to relax and rent a movie ,or atream a movie you can not. Only basic cable was available. I would not have stayed if i k ew this. The website should have been changed this is very misleading. Also you have to pay extra for breakfast.

Really clean and comfortable bed. My request for top floor was not looked at or mentioned and I was placed beside a very noisy room which fortunately quieted down at bedtime. The real low point was the managements handling of breakfast. There has got to be a better way to manage all the guests who want breakfast: the waitstaff couldn’t t possibly keep up with the number of guests. The toaster didn’t work. It was unclear how to order. Food needed to be replenished.

Overall great hotel experience it was a work trip. I usually book hotels that have food on site because I don’t wanna drive anywhere once I get to the hotel. There is a Pizzeria Uno attached to the property which had great food and service every night mine was a four night stay highly recommend.
