We have stayed here before, staff was great and rooms were comfortable and it rated a 4 star. There is parking that accommodates trucks and trailers. There is a small strip mall next door with a Timmies and Dairy Queen. WE did not realize when we booked the 2nd time that they still have smoking rooms and apparently that’s what I booked. It was my mistake but Reception was fantastic and cancelled my booking with no issues. Thank you Super 8!

Right on Hwy 16, lots of parking. Breakfast (sausage patties, cubed hashbrowns, eggs were all warmed in a microwave. The patties were grey, hashbrowns were white steamed potato cubes, eggs were round pieces of rubber-like material. This could all be different if they'd used a cheap griddle, air fryer etc. I've had the same fare at other Super 8s, and there is a world of difference.

The property is in poor, dated condition. The whole place from the lobby to the elevator, the halls, and the room were not very clean: there were stains on the carpet, what looked like dog kibble (I hope) on the floor in the elevator for two days, and it smelled like a litter box. When we came back after the day out, our room hadn’t been cleaned - beds were unmade and there were no fresh towels, garbage not emptied etc. When I called the front desk I was told, “You had a do not disturb on your door.” When I told her that I had removed it before we left at 9 AM she said, “I’ll make a note of that.” Do yourself a favour and do NOT stay at this hotel - Go across the parking lot to the Best Western!

Staff were very pleasant, the room was very clean, and well maintained. Breakfast was good, if you don’t include the sausage, egg, and such. But, that is just my opinion. There was lots of other good stuff to eat, and I didn’t leave hungry. I would definitely go again.

Nothing unique location convenient Cleanliness was an issue. Dirty cleaning cloth was on floor of room. Breakfast tables not cleaned horrible cooked breakfast.

Nice breakfast with waffle maker and items to make own breakfast sandwiches. Fitness room is small. Room was quiet even being along side a busy road. Not too much around, but fine for a stopover to sleep in. Room edges and corners could be vacuumed better. Room was huge and felt clean (aside from vacuuming edges/corners).

Room smelled of very heavy antiseptic. It was overwhelming when I first entered the room. It was a nice enough day at only -8 so I opened the window and turned on the bathroom fan to help clear it out. Then realized the heat in the room didn't work right. I had the thermostat turned up but the heater never turned on. The fridge in the room sounded like it was getting ready for take-off at NASA all night. I would have unplugged it if I didn't have my lunch to keep cold for the next day. Staff were pleasant when I asked to switch rooms the next night. It was a much better night with heat and no noise from the fridge. Kudos to the lady at the front desk over night (I think her name was Tracy). She was a wonderful help.

The service was great. I had to grab a hotel on an emergency basis since my car broke down on the way back to Edmonton. The front desk person let me have a late checkout to deal with the tow person and allowed me to wait in the lobby for my ride. This is especially important since I had my dog with me and it's hard to.find a place inside to wait with my dog.

The reception staff was not welcoming. Did not guide us, like where is the lift and how to reach the room. He gave me 2 rooms on different floors. The main reason we booked 2 rooms is we have a special child and need attention all the time. So I have to explain this to get a room on the same floor. On the premise I found a wallet and handed it over to the reception. He did not even talk about it seriously and did not tell me what happened to it when he saw me next time. Anyway, my overall experience is we are not welcomed to the place, and we will not book Super 8 next time. The morning staff were very friendly and good.

When I checked in the desk worker was on his phone sitting on a chair. Hey was wearing a hoodie which looks so unprofessional and yawning when I was talking to him. Then my key wouldn’t work. Then when I finally got in my room it was not cleaned from the guest before. I went to desk to tell them the worker said he had just checked the room after he had gave me the keys which obviously was untrue.

Check in was easy and super friendly. I was informed that I was one of 3 rooms booked for the night (it was a holiday) and that things were very quiet. Which was great. Zero noise. Next morning, breakfast was meager in terms of 'hot' food. They only had some sad sausage patties and even sadder fried potatoes. I asked if any eggs would be brought out...i was told they ran out, of eggs. Not even hard boiled eggs? I felt like they didnt want to bother to make eggs since there were so few guests. I get that free breakfast is just that, but not even basic eggs. Dried out sausage was the only thing with protein, the rest was juat carb city! Walked half a block over to another hotel's restaurant and had a proper breakfast.

Check in was easy and super friendly. I was informed that I was one of 3 rooms booked for the night (it was a holiday) and that things were very quiet. Which was great. Zero noise. Next morning, breakfast was meager in terms of 'hot' food. They only had some sad sausage patties and even sadder fried potatoes. I asked if any eggs would be brought out...i was told they ran out, of eggs. Not even hard boiled eggs? I felt like they didnt want to bother to make eggs since there were so few guests. I get that free breakfast is just that, but not even basic eggs. Dried out sausage was the only thing with protein, the rest was juat carb city! Walked half a block over to another hotel's restaurant and had a proper breakfast.

We found that the hot breakfast containers were empty at 8:30 and breakfast goes untill 10.

Right on Hwy 16, lots of parking. Breakfast (sausage patties, cubed hashbrowns, eggs were all warmed in a microwave. The patties were grey, hashbrowns were white steamed potato cubes, eggs were round pieces of rubber-like material. This could all be different if they'd used a cheap griddle, air fryer etc. I've had the same fare at other Super 8s, and there is a world of difference.

Staff were very pleasant, the room was very clean, and well maintained. Breakfast was good, if you don’t include the sausage, egg, and such. But, that is just my opinion. There was lots of other good stuff to eat, and I didn’t leave hungry. I would definitely go again.

The room was clean and comfortable. No complaints about the bed or the pillows. Checking in was easy although I wish I was filled in on time for the breakfast. I did make it down for breakfast on the second morning of my stay and the food was good. My only small complaint is that the morning cleaning staff could abstain from hollering to each other down the hallway. I realize that a good percentage of the guests that stay at this particular hotel are workers that are up and gone early, but not everyone. I was woken up a lot earlier than I planned because of that. And one final thing of note for travellers, if you drink coffee or tea you may consider bringing bottled water or filling your coffee carafe in the breakfast room from the water cooler to make it in your room. Edson tap water tastes very much like chlorine and interferes with a good cup of coffee. Bottom line, I would stay here again. The price was alright and the rooms are great.

All good here but, I wish the window curtains would block out the light better. Too much gets around the outside of the curtains, and the center would not overlap enough. I will still come back!

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean and comfortable. As soon as we opened the door of the room you could smell that the room was clean no musty smell. Would highly recommend this hotel.
