It was decent enough, and the gentleman at the counter let us upgrade to the king size, when I realized I had picked the wrong room. You can tell they are doing renovations. And when they are done, the place will be a nice spot.

its an old building and a bit sketchy at first as the entrance is at the back of the building. My room was clean as well the bathrrom. The ceiling is a bit moldy but I was ok with that as I a long bath filled to the top. The bedding was clean and great pillows. Room was spacious and clean. Overall very quiet!!!!!

The outside needs work, but don’t judge a book by its cover! They are working hard to upgrade this property. Room was freshly painted, new carpet and new furnishings. Really want these lovely people to succeed.

The hallway carpets could be replaced and the kitchen was under renovations so we had to order in but otherwise everything was clean and the staff was friendly

They have done and continue working on lots of upgrades. Our room was very modern and lots of plug ins for devices. The back stairs to parking lot are desparately in need of repair and very wobbly. The continental breakfast had no bagels or muffins to toast which most hotels offer. Very quiet stay.

We werent even able.to.stay, traveling all day..Book the hotel on the fly to stay through the expedia app. my mother has mobility issues and the hotel wouodnt work for that. the front desk employee told us to contact expedia to get a refund since we werent able to stay when I connected with expedia they told me they were not able to issue to the refund because they could not get approval from the hotel... THE HOTEL TOLD US TO CALL THEM. so we had to book a different hotel up the road and now I am out the cost of this hotel as well. it is 2023 should really be making hotels accessible to everyone. or make it clear that you are NOT on your page before people book.

Outside parking lot as well as at door had lot's of debry as well as cigarette butts. Inside lobby and rooms are spotless. Corridor carpet was as clean as possible, lijely needs replaced.

Expected a standard budget hotel (cheap but clean room, sad 'free breakfast') but was still disappointed. Biggest issue is ALL rooms are up at least one set of stairs, and no elevator, and no luggage carts. If you have any injuries or walking challenges go elsewhere.

The property is well maintained with friendly staff willing to assist with my booking and accommodation. Clean room, able to enjoy the balcony, non smoking room and quiet. Thank you for the effort to make the stay great.

Staff was nice at front desk. We stayed for 2 nights, after first night stay we used towels as well as garbage. When we returned our beds were not made garbages not empty and no fresh linen. Also our door handle was kind of dirty and our bathroom sink tap was sporty and mirror not clean. Beds were super comfortable and pillows were fantastic.

Shower was left dirty.

They say it includes breakfast, don't be fooled, only cereal and stale mini muffins. I had to ring the bell 3 times and wait 5 minutes for the guy to come to the counter, the room was clean enough but hallway and floors very dirty

It was a very clean hotel. The rooms were also very clean and sanitary.

the toilet didn’t work was making noise, the shower was plugged from scale very little water pressure could hardly rinse soap from hair. there were beer cans on the padio from someone else the blankets towels and bedsheets had stains like there weren’t washed. very disgusting would never recommend, and the management would not offer any assistance, also the room phone did not work to call front desk to tell them the toilet fill line was leaking rusty water all over the floor we had to keep cleaning up.

When I turn on air condition it was so noisy it’s annoying my family sleep even my 3 year old said baba it’s sound like a tractor

This was a great hotel for a one night stay. The rooms are renovated and very nice. The bed was incredibly comfortable! The bathrooms (the shower specifically) could use an upgrade. The continental breakfast wasnt great. It was basically cereal, toast, bananas, oranges and sugary muffins from the grocery store. But, overall, we stayed for 1 night while passing through to Jasper and it was good. Would Stay again.

A few highlights: -staff did NOT ask for any ID or anything to confirm my reservation. This is really quite dangerous and could allow anybody to take a reservation. -no smoke alarms in room -phone was for show. Not connected and no cords anywhere. That’s very dangerous and suspicious -no railing as pictured in the bathtub. So if you need help getting up/down or in/out (I just injured my foot hiking and was on crutches) you are out of luck, even though it’s supposed to have some -to further that, no accessible doors. Meaning no button to help open the door for accessibility. I had to open the doors on crutches with no reception or help in sight. - No elevator. Expect only stairs if you’re injured or have mobility issues. -door had no deadbolt. Only a flimsy piece of metal. Massive gap between floor and door as well -hinge pins also almost completely out of the door. Another safety issue. -remote was NOT for the tv. Incompatible. So don’t expect to use the tv. Front desk gave us used batteries and said good luck -coffee machine awful. Not plugged in either - breakfast is 6-8am. It’s also only some cereal and bread and old juice. Don’t expect coffee or anything edible really. -water pressure terrible -toiletries non existent besides one teeny bar of soap. No hair toiletries as advertised, no Kleenex, no extra toilet paper -front desk usually unmanned/unattented 90% of the time. Oh. Don’t forget you can’t phone them either, as phones are not connected in the room

The staff are very friendly and helpful. On our most recent stay a king bed was not available upon booking. I called ahead for an upgrade to a king. I was informed that they were all booked but if one became available, they would accoomodate the request. When I arrived the clerk was pleased to honor the upgrade. We have stayed at this property six times. The price and the quality of beds keeps us coming back. DO NOT go for the breakfast. Food items are minimal and of poor quality. The excellent rates excuse the breakfast. Love me some Tim Hortons! Service, location, bed quality more than make up for breakfast when we are just ripping through on our travels.

Staff friendly but did not give 2 keys when requested, did not tell us WiFi password, told us wrong breakfast time...or morning staff did not open breakfast at right time. Either way we put note on front desk computer as no staff but they did not call us to say when breakfast was. The mix of other reviews semmes accurate. Also, not sure why but hotel nearly empty yet we were put on noisy railway side of hotel. No one at the desk when we left to mention thses things to.

Inside the building was excellent value for the money spent. Young man that checked us in was above excellent. He helped us with our luggage!!!! A first in many years of travel. Thank you

We had no toilet paper when we checked in and the towels were dirty, we we there for 3 days and they didn’t clean our room once or bring us clean towels. The front desk clerk sleeps in a room and if you need assistance you have to call his cell number. The air conditioning only worked half the time.The only good thing about the room was it was huge and we had a king size bed.

This is an old building in an industrial area. The breakfast was terrible-no coffee nor tea, the orange juice and apple juice had both gone rancid. There’s nobody at the front desk, you have to use the provided phone to call the reception to come down to the front desk.

Arrived at the lobby and there was no one there. Rang the bell, called the number, just got a recording. Finally the bartender came to try and help. He knew the cell of the person "on duty". Called twice no answer. Finally I called and got an answer. Took about 30 minutes to do.

The trains were very noisy all night shuffling cars around. No Mention of breakfast but I found the breakfast room at 7 amish and the lights were turned off and not a soul around. I had some cereal and juice and left. Mind you this is a worker motel and they were gone early. Bed was super comfortable and cable channels were pretty good. I would stay again but as for a room away from the railway tracks.

No coffee in breakfast room. Was told to use what was in the room. Noticed no smoke detector. Should have told gront desk.

Friendly service and place looks decent enough inside for a cheaper hotel. Unfortunately breakfast is bare minimum (cereal,apples oranges etc)and no cook to make morning meals like other hotels.

The bed was very comfortable. Nothing wrong with the room, however don't depend on breakfast. We wanted to start with orange juice but when we attempted to press the button to dispense orange or apple juice, fruit flies came out of the machine. That was enough to gross us out.

They didn't have coffee at breakfast , no hot food like eggs and sausages . The room coffee had an open package , so not sure what was in there, the other one wasn't opened. I'd probably not stay there again

Breakfast basically non existent, flies in the juice and on all the fruit, no other food except cereal, room was clean as far as I could tell. No one at the front to check in, hotel is old, exterior doors don’t lock so anyone could enter property anytime, price wasn’t great compared to other hotels, only booked this one as it had 3 beds and we didn’t shop around, big mistake.
