Stay was 3/5 overall. Only 1 ice machine and it was located on top floor. Only one working elevator so waiting times were a bit longer than normal. Last morning the fire alarm went off...and on....and off...and on...for over an hour which was annoying. On the good side, breakfast was good and the staff was VERY friendly and greeted you on your way in and out each time! Renovations were not completed and needs some work but overall not a bad stay.

the staff were pleasant and helpful. However the hotel it self was disappointing due to its location and mandatory parking fee. This was an unexpected expense.

Great for access to stores and food. Not great for pets. The pool was also a huge disappointment(drained). Thankfully, it was an overnight stay.

They are remodeling the 4th flood, where the ice machine is. There are no signs indicating that plus long waits for elevators as the constructuon guys are using them. Went to 4th floor , no ice machine in aervice and then had a 7 minute wait for an elevator , went to 6th floor for ice and that machine didnt work either. Had to go to lobby. They should put signs up warning guests , NO ICE and do not go to 4th floor.

The hotel is under renovation and only 1 elevator was working for 6 floors. Also I had no toilet paper in my room when we arrived. There wasn’t even a toilet paper holder. Plus the pull out sofa had no sheets nor blanket. But the staff was very helpful & polite!

Undergoing much needed renovations so pool was drained and top floor was closed for reno. Was told that the work would stop at 6 p.m. but went up to get ice on Friday night (no ice on our level) and it appeared that the construction crew was staying in the rooms they were rehabbing, specially as they were there at 7 a.m. on a Saturday morning. Didn't bother us but I could see it bothering some. Honestly, it was a fine place to stop for an overnight on a roadtrip.

The room was dirty on the heat unit. The shower was terrible with mold /mildew and caulk peeling. The shave pad was in the opposite end of the shower. Leaving your face in the spray while trying to shave. The water took OVER 5 mins to get hot to use the sink or shower. Most importantly the door did not shut without slamming and extra pressure to latch. When leaving we were able to push the door back open several times before it was latched and secure to leave. THIS ROOM WAS SUPPOSED TO HAVE BEEN RENOVATED! The linens were clean and we made it work for our short stay. There was no microwave to use in the room. The staff was very nice and tried to help as much as possible. Wont be returning

Very disappointed in my stay here . I’ve stayed here many times before never had issues,, This time had I ANT infestation in my room . Had to move rooms . I never felt comfortable again so I left a day early even though I was knowingly losing my money. Don Carter 804-802-9690

The area around the property was nice and the Staff was great. My only complaint was that whoever cleans the room didn't vacuum around the desk area. I guess because the carpet was dark colored they missed those spots, but i left some food out for a couple of hours to go out with my wife and when we got back I found a couple of ant on my box of food. After I killed the four ants and picked up the crumbs I seen from where it wasn't vacuumed, I didn't see anymore ants. I told the front desk and They immediately wrote everything down to get it cleaned. I recommend that they also get hand vacuum cleaners to get the spots behind the desk that the regular vacuum cleaners can't get to. other than that my room was great.

Staff amazing. Rooms large but bathrooms are terribly small. Mold. Painted over rust. No fan in a prob 20sq ft bathroom. Beds not very comfortable. Charge for parking in an open lot. Extrerior poor maintenance. Weird smell in hallways.

First thing I noticed was a dumpster outside the hotel. Second thing was leaves all over the ground from the fall. Third, the musty order as you walk in the hotel. When I got my room when i entered the room it had not been cleaned. I was given another room it had a stench an order that was extremely unpleasant. There was mold all over the shower inside on the outside. I pretty much stayed up most of the night worried about bugs. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

This place is filthy. I took plenty of pics. The chairs in the eating area and lobby are covered in syrup and food particles and look to never be cleaned. The hotel room had dust all over the lights, sticky residue all over the complimentary in room tea bags, coffee pot, cups, tables. The bathroom looked like an unlicensed do it yourself contractor came in and tried to patch holes and caulk floors and walls with chalky residue all over. Small bugs in bathroom. There are a lot of hotels in the are to choose from and this one is not it.

This particular Hyatt place did not seen to be up to Hyatt's normal expectations (or mine). I think it was an older renovation and it's beginning to show it's age. Staff was great, but property was a bit "tired".

Bed was comfortable, breakfast was plentiful. Closing at 9 is a bit early. Two problems were never resolved. HVAC controls did not work and there was no hot water in bath. We were told these issues had been resolved but they were not.

It took 5 to 10 minutes for the shower to get hot. I almost called down to the front desk when it finally started to get warm. The bathroom was incredibly small. It was hard to turn around in there. It could use a renovation. I stayed at a Hyatt Place in Biloxi that was great. I thought this would be the same, but it just wasn't as nice. The breakfast wasn't as good either. It was not a bad hotel, by any means. I was just expecting something a little better.

We like the easy access to Restaurants and shopping. We love the quietness of the hotel inside and outside. We appreciate the excellent service we received by hotel staff and their friendliness. They were also very welcoming. Breakfast was amazing. Hotel was exceptionally clean.

Fantastic experience!!! The man at the front desk at check in might have been the friendliest person Ive ever encountered at any hotel ive ever stayed in. The rest of the staff was just as friendly. Every time we passed someone we were greeted with a smile and a hello. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. Would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone and will be using again in the future.

I experienced a blown out tire the evening of my check-in which prohibited me from actually checking in. Fortunately I was close to another hotel and safe while waiting to get towing services. I called the hotel (directly) for two straight hours to make sure I wouldn't lose my room. After I mentioned to that hotel staff member I was unable to reach the hotel of my stay, they offered to text because they knew the staff. As soon as he did, I called and the phone was answered on the first ring. When I arrived the next day for check-in, my key with my name and room number on the envelope was taped to the desk (found that weirdly unsafe to broadcast that info). There was no information shared about WiFi services, breakfast, or elevator location. It was a very non-plus experience. I guess I shouldn't have been surprised by the underwhelm of my room. In their defense, the hotel is getting renovated, however, the burn mark on the rug, the rusty mirror closet (and light fixtures) and damage to the door from replacing the lock system, left much to be desired. It would have been too much to mentally reconcile if my stay was longer than two days.

The hotel is under renovation and only 1 elevator was working for 6 floors. Also I had no toilet paper in my room when we arrived. There wasn’t even a toilet paper holder. Plus the pull out sofa had no sheets nor blanket. But the staff was very helpful & polite!

Came up for a VCU open house, needed a little extra space with a pullout sofa bed. Thw first room we checked into had a slight issue and management quickly changed rooms. Hotel staff was extremely friendly. The location is great, 5 minutes from Short Pump and 20 minutes from downtown Richmond

The hotel is located to major highways and easy to get to . The front desk staff was courteous and helpful. We loved the hot breakfast and really appreciate the support staff who cooked some delicious meals . The rooms are a bit dated and we had a room with a noisy AC but overall it was a pleasant stay . Will definitely come back to stay.

The pool wasn't available due to maintenance wish I had known ahead of time I would have went elsewhere. The bar had no mixers for alcohol besides tonic water. The food was decent at best.

Excellent economic stay for the family. Safe. Clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Included breakfast offered variety. Hot: bacon, eggs, seasoned potatoes, waffle s. Cold: cereal, cut fruit, yogurt, bagels. For all the reviews that complain there is no soap/shampoo/etc, try looking on the wall or asking staff. Reserved a room with pull out couch. No pullout linens were in the room. Spoke to staff who very kindly provided all supplies. If wear and tear are not acceptable, don't book here. Linens had some small stains but were freshly laundered. If you set your expectations to the price point you are willing to pay, this will make you happy.

Very disappointed. The website shows a restaurant on site but no restaurant. The breakfast was completely gone by 8am when they said it was served until 10. We were told the staff did not show up to cook. The pull out sofa in our room was terrible. Super uncomfortable and a really thin mattress. One of the most disappointing hotels I have ever stayed in.

Breakfast wasn’t great. It was similar to budget hotel. One day, we had real dishes and cutlery and the next it was styrofoam & plastic. Not great for environment. Dishwasher works! You would NEVER see a breakfast like this in Europe.

Advertised a bar and 24 hour food and that was not true. Provided a good breakfast. Had to ask for housekeeping service after my 3rd day stay and they still didnt bring any wash clothes nor soap. We didn't have washcloths the last day. The first night the lobby smelled like an unclean mop.

It was quiet, clean and a fairly large room. Staff was great. The room was designed very strange. The bathroom door had ZERO and I mean ZERO clearance from the toilet. Gotta give props to whoever installed them because it's as close as you could possibly get. If someone dies on the toilet with the door shut you'd have to take the door down to get them out. The bathroom itself was literally big enough for the tub, and toilet. Coffee in the room was undrinkable and I'm not that picky. Probably wouldn't stay again unless it was last minute. Price was too high for what we got. Thought because it was part of Hyatt I'd be good but I wasn't impressed. Staff was awesome though!

Let me first say the staff was friendly and great! However, the hotel/room was another story. 1st it was a tournament weekend, so when my wife and I arrived the hotel was packed. We had to wake a few minutes to check-in. Once we attempted to get to our room we learned one elevator was not working and there was no sign! Next once we in the elevator there’s and sign that says Microwave and ice machines are on the 4th and 6th Floor. I was on the 6th floor so I thought it could be worse. I checked in, and went to get some ice and the ice was out. Started to head to the 4th and a customer stated the ice was out on the fourth floor as well. The ice was out the entire stay. Complementary items like the Cookies were out as well. Room cleaning never came to our room and the air conditioning stopped working part of the stay but other than that the stay was great😢

Our room was clean and the free breakfast was great. The staff was very friendly too. The only odd thing I can say is the placement of the bathroom in our room was different than most hotel rooms but it was clean so I guess that's all that really matters.
