Studio 6-Stafford, TX - Houston - Sugarland

Once you enter the room, not a good smell hit you. Doesn't stink, I don't know if some kind of cleaner that is used. Other thing is that need to be more signs to id the buildings and room. Need more lights in the parking lots.

Room smelled like moth balls. Water pressure was low. Lobby was hard to find and not open. Had to knock on the door several times to get a clerk. Room was dated and smelled like moth balls. Killed a few flys during my stay. Place is a dump.

Beyond what I expected. 😊😊😊The office staff are professional, empathetic, knowledgeable, and understanding. 😊😊😊😊😊 I wasn't just a room number. They remember my name and protected my privacy. I was safe! The room was nice and clean an I kept it clean and when the lights were off at night. I had NO ROACHES when got up in the middle of the night. A medium size refrigerator, microwave and a stove with two burners. That's all I needed. I don't cook. 🙄😉😉Plenty of cabinet space. Cable and WIFI.😁 My room was clean and I kept it clean!!! 😊😊😊😊😊😊A clean onsite laundry room at your convenience. Just download the app. The house keepers will deliver additional toilet paper, soap and fresh towels to your door. You can change sheets yourself as often as you want. 😍😍😍😍Just return the dirty sheets at no extra charge. Restaurants, shopping centers are within walking distance. No people are hanging around outside on the property.If you see someone outside they are going to work, coming back, probably smoking a cigarette outside their room or in the picnic area. 😊😊😊😊😀😀That's where you will meet residents walking their fur babies because they are family too and you want pay extra. 👍👍 I've met residents that have lived here for months and had Christmas lights up. I had to leave for a moment but I will be returning ASAP.✌️😍❤️.!!!!

I booked 2 nights at this location. First thing that threw me off was all the people walking around (bums). So i figured it would be that kind of place. Ok i got to my room and it had the most foul smell ever omg. Roaches crawling and all over the fridge. The walls were very nasty feces on the walls. Tub was dirty i want to vomit just thinking about it. I called the front desk and asked if housekeeping could clean the room again they never came. I asked if i could switch rooms. She said only if someone cancels a reservation. I couldn’t take it so i left after i checked in. All of the filthy things on the walls and the smell was unbearable, all of my belongings smelled just like that room and i had to wash all of my things. I would not recommend what so ever. Can’t even relax it’s so filthy. I was shocked because of the area. They did partially refund me. I only gave it 1 star because i had too

Property and room was very clean. Even though we get non smoking rooms, alot of places smell like smoke. Not this one. It smelled great when we walked in. It was quiet. There was a full size fridge and microwave. Even a stove. There were no lamps next to the bed and there were only like 20 channels on the TV, but other than that..the stay was great. Will be staying here again.

Strong chemical smell in the room. Felt like they had pesticide from gumigating the room. It gave me a horrible headache that stayed with me until the following evening. The outside was unkept. The dumpster was overflowing. No shampoo or conditionner given. I guess they expect you to wash your hair with the bar of soap. I will not stay at this hotel again. Hampton Inn is far superior service for the price.

it was quiet and room wasnt dirty it just had an odor we travel with our yorkie so im sure they put us in a pet room so whoever was there before had a stinky pet and i cleaned some water off the floor and the floor was disgusting so i dont think they are cleaned properly. but the bed was clean and pretty comfortable

The room was disgusting! ROACHES OMG!!! Filthy run down room. The front desk man did warn me there was no refrigerator and the tv was broken but it was ready so I could check in before 3:00pm. The bedding had not been changed there was hair and black specks of maybe dirt or I’m starting to think maybe bed bugs being I have about 4 or 5 strange spots on my back and arm and I will freak out if that is from bed bugs. I was also charged twice one day from Hotels.com and the studio 6. Very loud people outside all hours of the night and early am. I could go on and on. I want everyone to be warned if room 107!!!! However the staff was super friendly and very accommodating. It’s not their fault the company is fine with placing people in those horrible conditions. I am going to try to get a refund and at least 3 free nights in a nice hotel. I would have left immediately upon walking in but my ride was in an hurry and I only stayed because I had so much stuff with me and no ride to move until last night. I am in a much nice safer hotel and it’s about 27 more than I spent at the studio 6

The staff was great and very accommodating where they were able to accommodate. The room had a bad smell almost like mildew and they said it was the bug protection they use. I woke up with a bad sore throat from breathing that in all night. They said people have mentioned that smell before, but the owners must not care because they are still using the same chemicals.

Pretty sure they have bed bugs. I’m all bit up. First room I stayed in the tv, fridge and phone didn’t work. Also, the previous person’s hair and hair dye were all over the restroom and shower. Second room I was moved to tv was significantly smaller and a/c barely blew. Good for a quick stay, not so much long term.

The stay was short but mold in the bathroom

I got bitten by beg bugs 🐛 for 2 consecutive days before i could realize and ask for a room change... I've developed high fever and my whole body is full of bumps and wounds from scratching... I documented everything and took pictures of the room

GOOD BUT FURNITURE AND BED NEED A MAJOR IMPROVEMENT

It was relaxing. We had neighbors on both sides of us and we couldn't hear them. The rooms was very insulated. Room was clean

2nd time staying here, for the price it can’t be beat. Good solid studio. Soft beds, kind staff, nice AC, Solid wifi, decent all around. They did give me what seemed to be an older room this time around, you could definitely see its age but it didn't affect my trip. No roaches or bugs, however they did not let me use Netflix this time around but did have many good cable channels. Overall 8.5/10 Would stay again.

I had limited television services for two of the three night of stay. There were only two channels and each was in Spanish. I don’t speak Spanish.

Terrible stay at this hotel...very run down, torn sheets, lumpy bed, dirty floors, no coffee machine, super noisy neighbors- hotel staff have no control...felt very unsafe and fear of car break-ins... and top it all, extremely rude front office staff and manager...no concern or concept of customer satisfaction or well-being...when i shared my concerns, staff hung up and became argumentative....never again!

Refrigerator was filthy couldn’t use, door was broken was unable to get in my room had to get 3 different keys. Water pressure very very low. No WiFi!!

VERY POLITE STAFF AND EASY CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT WILL STAY HERE AGAIN

We got in real late just looking for a room. Stopped here, asked for a nonsmoking room. The lady was rude. We got to our room and it smelled so had of cigarette smoke. Horrible. Called to ask for another room and she says they didn't have any ALTHOUGH the place was empty. We asked for a refund and she refused. So we slept very uncomfortably in a smoke filled room. So disgusting. Never again.

Staff was amazing. They were helpful and accommodating. If I am ever having to stay in town - in this area - I would definitely be back.

I tried to check in before 5pm and front Desk was closed and I called the hotel phone number and no one ever answer, I waited almost 40 minutes to check in. Hopefully next time it will be a better check in experience.

When I got to the property they did not have my reservation and they were booked up. I made these reservations in October and Expedia had my reservation but for some strange reason motel 6 did not and they were booked and could not get me a room. I was not happy at all. I drove 4 hours just to have to try and find another place. I was very disappointed in motel 6 for this inconvenience and considering I booked it 5 months in advance I think they could have done better

Horrible staff. They keep adding on fees just to make more money. They won't reset your key if you don't pay them. Dirty! No housekeeping service while you stay. The refrigerator was NOT working and ruined my food but didn't get reimbursed. Horrible Place!! Do Not recommend!!!

We decided not to stay after viewing the room and the grounds. The lobby smelled like Clorox over mildew. The parking lot had several men milling about. The room didn’t seem safe enough for single women. The room also seemed very old and needing upgrades.

Quiet & Safe.

We could not stay as the room was disgusting. The property felt unsafe with folks loitering all around. The bed was broken, many repairs needed to be made, filthy, the bathroom was stained. All in all, at least they offered a reach d though it had yet to show up in my account. Bummer…..

The stay was very quiet. Nice area, right off 59 North, just past SH 90-A.

Reasonable place. Economical and close to my meeting place. A great value place stay. No frills. Clean

Overall it was pretty decent, like the fact you could walk to nearby restaurants. The price was good two night stay was below $130. The only gripe I had I would loved to have extra pillows. Was trying to build a pillow fort lol. But reality I will stay here again knowing I will be returning next year for the IPMS show. FYI bring extra pillows and possibly blanket.
