The hotel was fine. The problem was the parking. The whole reason we decided to stay at a hotel was to avoid parking at the airport and use the shuttle service. Expedia did not make it clear that they charge you per night for parking. Just as much as it costs down the road at Park-n-Go. Disappointing to stay at an okay hotel and pay just as much for parking.

I decided on this hotel because it had a pool and seemed very clean. It was very clean, but the pool had been filled in with concrete. I was not the only customer who complained about this. The staff said that they had tried to have them change it on the website, but was told they couldn’t. It is not a good practice to bate customers this way. The staff was amazing and very friendly and professional. The property needed a swimming pool if they advertised it. Plus, paying $30+ for parking for 3 days was not nice either. That was not said on the website either. The parking was very packed and when you have to park on the back side of the building, you should be able to use your room key to enter in the door, but you have to walk all the way around the building to the main entrance to enter. That could be a safety hazard for someone coming in at night, especially for a female. I am not in fear, but a woman or a child may be in danger.

Everything was great considering I booked a last-minute stay due to a missed connection at the airport. My only complaint is I requested a 10 AM shuttle to the airport and was told he will be five or 10 minutes late. He showed up at 10:15 and as I went to get into the van, he proceeded to sit down and we did not leave until 1035! I was cutting it very very close from my flight

The room was good, bed comfortable. We weren't expecting to pay for parking. The breakfast wasn't great. A few restaurants nearby. There's a 7-11 nearby where we went to buy some beverages as the hotel bar prices are ridiculous. Only one elevator working and at that particularly slow. Won't be back.

I was stuck and had a flight cancel forced to stay overnight. No one would answer the phone at the desk after calling for the shuttle from airport per hotel direction after booking the room and that number just gave you a busy tone. So forced to pay for cab. Then this morning trying to get the shuttle back they had me wait till 6:30 and my flight left at 7 so again another taxi ride. Spent 75 dollars for two taxi rides and just a massive inconvenience on top of already being frustrated with the airlines.

We chose this hotel because of the close proximity to the airport. We waited for an hour for a shuttle ride that takes 6-8 minutes. We called to ask for an update and they said it would be 25-45 more minutes. We ended up taking a taxi. I would not recommend this property.

The pictures are false advertisement! The cabinet in the room was falling apart. The furniture and carpet were filthy. The bathroom was disgusting. The room was dewy and smelly. Oh and I can’t forget the HUGE ROACH that crawled from under the sofa! I’ll NEVER stay there again! EVER!

We were very disappointed in our room. The curtains were torn and more alarming was that we found a bed bug crawling on the top of one of the beds. Where there is one…there will be more! When I I moved the pillow on the bed we slept in the next morning a spider ran across!

I’m not sure how this hotel gets such good reviews. Our room was beyond dated, which would have been fine had it been properly cleaned. We found dead bug on the ceiling and our headboard had all these drip stains on it and I’m hoping it was cleaning product that wasn’t properly wiped down. The bathroom was also in poor condition with mold in certain spots. Breakfast starts at 6 am and somehow there was no coffee at 6:10 am. The breakfast was decent enough, though. The staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly the assistant manager who helped check us in early. There are better hotels for a quick stay before a flight.

We stayed just one night with plans to take shuttle to airport. Hotels.com stated in 2 different locations that the shuttle was 24 hours, it is NOT. DO NOT BOOK if you need a ride after midnight or before 5am. Room was nice and big for family of 5 and front desk staff were fantastic. Room was loud we heard cars racing most the late night and the AC unit was on its last leg.

Ive stayed at Hyatt Place before, this was the first time staying at this one. When we walked in the room smelled wet and sticky. The bathroom door design is weird making it hard to close, the bathroom is dark and very, very small. The room does have full length mirrors and i enjoyed being able to check in online. I hate that you have to pay for parking as a guest, ive stayed at the location near University, the room amenities, guest services were top tier and the parking was free.

Bathroom was very small. Hair was on the shower curtain. Carpet was dirty with stains. The hot breakfast was basically a continental breakfast not too many options at all, I’ve stayed at Hyatt’s before, and this was nothing like anyone we stayed at. Very disappointing!

Easy check in. We only went to this location to sleep at night. It was comfortable and with the 2 beds and couch bed it was good for my family of 6. Breakfast was good. Not going to complain when it was free. Room was clean.

I needed a sleep-over motel close to the airport. The free shuttle was a good start, with no delays. It was a fast check-in to my spacious and nice room. In the morning, I enjoyed a free breakfast with a variety of choices, including a waffle maker. I had a fast checkout and a free shuttle ride back to the airport. The motel is close to the airport in a nice area of Charlotte. The staff were attentive and it was nice having a 24 hour front desk. That is a must when checking in late.

Could not get the hotel to answer phone to send shuttle, had to take taxi from the airport.. shuttle was the main reason for selecting this hotel then staff was rude , and not helpful or apologetic at all. Room was very unclean. Will not pick Hyatt for any future stays.

I love that even though it was late and my flight was canceled the female driver couldn't fit me in on a trip but she said she would come back and get me ...and she did. She even walked up to me to find me and safely got me back to the hotel. Thank you maàm.

Trip was fine until Housekeeping entered my room without knocking or addressing that they were coming into the room. Also, my DO NOT DISTURB was on the door for them not to enter my room. This left me feeling very violated, not knowing if they had entered the room at other times when i was not in it. I could have been naked when they opened the door. It was around 10 am, checkout wasn't until 12 noon

I was stuck and had a flight cancel forced to stay overnight. No one would answer the phone at the desk after calling for the shuttle from airport per hotel direction after booking the room and that number just gave you a busy tone. So forced to pay for cab. Then this morning trying to get the shuttle back they had me wait till 6:30 and my flight left at 7 so again another taxi ride. Spent 75 dollars for two taxi rides and just a massive inconvenience on top of already being frustrated with the airlines.

The front desk staff was great. Housekeeping not so much. I extended my stay until July19th, which was a whole other issue and was locked out of my room. Did not see anywhere on Expedia’s site to extend. But cleared up the issue with the front desk. But housekeeping never entered my room to bring fresh towels or toilet paper or empty the garbage my entire stay. I had to go in the hallway to find someone and get the things needed. Very disappointed.

Airport shuttle is convenient but they gave us the wrong phone number to call once we got our baggage. Email with the phone number was wrong. So we kept getting a busy number Shuttle driver wasn’t real friendly. Check-in was fast and easy. VERY noisy outside after midnight. A group of over 50 bikers pulled in with their music blaring and revving their engines super loud with no respect for anybody staying in the hotel. Hotel staff should’ve asked for courtesy! Same issue in the morning! Definitely had some patrons who smelled like weed and could be smelled throughout the hotel

We like to stay at a Hyatt Place when it’s a one night event. This hotel is great, close to the airport and shuttle is on time . The restaurant wasn’t open except for the bar and they whipped up some French fries for us because we got in Late . The Breakfast was good .

The phone number provided for the airport shuttle rang busy consistently. Finally called the national line and they were able to get through. Breakfast was incredibly disappointing and the hotel is in desperate need of a refresh.

The room was good, bed comfortable. We weren't expecting to pay for parking. The breakfast wasn't great. A few restaurants nearby. There's a 7-11 nearby where we went to buy some beverages as the hotel bar prices are ridiculous. Only one elevator working and at that particularly slow. Won't be back.

The lady that attended the breakfast area on Saturday August 31st and September 1st was very rude and impolite. When she was asked questions about the food she would not even answer. The tables at the breakfast area were dirty with crumbs on top. The water and juices containers were no filled up at all times during the breakfast hours. However, the staff at the Front Desk were very cordial and made the check in a pleasant and fast experience

The rooms are great and the staff helpful. The main reason why I gave 4 stars is because you have to pay for parking. We have stayed in many airport hotels around Charlotte in the past, including this one, and have never had to pay for parking during our stay, we were not expecting it (though to be fair it doesn’t say free parking anywhere). For city hotels I understand, but not for an office park near an airport with many empty office lots around. There also used to be a pool at this hotel that was covered up and turned into a seating area. There are still photos with the pool, not the hotel’s fault but just wanted to make others who stayed here in the past aware. There are two almost identical Hyatt Places next to each other, but they have different features, so make sure to check them carefully in the listing.

The hotel employees are so loud. The reception clerk and two housekeeping workers talked loudly for 30 minutes in the lobby during breakfast, and the two housekeeping workers outside our room were also talking very loudly in the hall during the morning. Otherwise, the hotel is fairly quiet.
