Our family had an absolutely wonderful stay at **Hotel Maderno**. We truly loved everything about this beautiful hotel, especially its charming antique style, which made our stay feel so warm, elegant, and unique. Our room was always spotless, comfortable, and well cared for. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which made our stay even more relaxing during the warm weather. What made our holiday truly special was the amazing staff. Every single member of the team was incredibly friendly, welcoming, kind, and always greeted us with genuine smiles. A very special thank you to the lovely **Angela**, who helped us with such kindness and care throughout our stay. She always went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, and we are so grateful for her wholehearted hospitality. We would also like to sincerely thank the kind lady who generously moved her own car so that we could have a parking space. Such a thoughtful gesture meant so much to us. Thank you as well to all the wonderful staff at Hotel Maderno—you made us feel like part of the family. The location is excellent. There are many lovely restaurants and shops within walking distance, and an electric vehicle charging station is conveniently nearby. The hotel is also close to the ferry terminal for visiting the breathtaking **Madonna della Corona**, making it a perfect base for sightseeing. We also found it easy to travel to Milan and other beautiful places. The breakfast was delicious with a great selection,

Hotel says 4 star, but from my experience it would be a 3 star all day long. Staff were amazing. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Air-conditioning was not as cool as it should have been. Turned down by hotel due to heatwave?? Hotel is very traditional and could so with some updating in places. Pool area is a bit rough and ready. Gardens are lovely. Breakfast wasn't a great experience. The food was delicious with plenty of choice- when it was there.... There was only 1 member of staff at any one time. We really felt for them because they couldn't keep up. It was too much to cope with. Guests clearing their own tables to sit down, searching for plates and cutlery, running out of milk/ juice etc. Only one coffee machine so you had to queue... The Hotel really needs to add more staff at breakfast times.
