When we arrived they had no record of our booking even though we had paid in advance, they put us in a room that looked nothing like the pictures online and smelled damp. Advertised as having 50+ sky channels but not in our room. No hair dryer, the coffee maker was an electric jug. Not great.

Stayed here for Foo Fighters. Was clean and tidy. Walkable distance to Petone train station, around 15 mins. Have stayed here before and would probably stay again. Room had basic cooking facilites

A little tricky getting out into traffic as right on the intersection of a busy road at rush hour times even on a saturday. But friendly staff, clean and fresh room. When we got back to our room someone else had taken our park in front of our room, however we could still park in the hotel gounds. All in all great place to stay

The host was welcoming and the unit was tidy. It was an older part of the complex but the room was suitable for an overnight stay. I have stayed here previously in the newer units which are nice. Unfortunately, the hot water did not work which was frustrating for showers in the morning. Hopefully that was fixed after our stay.

Good little area but the room that was given to me smelt musty n dusty everywhere and the shower was still dirty. Plenty of parking but cleaners coming through at 5pm was not it.

We booked two studios. The location is excellent however the rooms have a lot of issues. We had broken drawers, no tea towels, no facecloths, no toilet roll holder, broken towel rail, expired milk sachets, no storage in one room, no sky but sign says has 60 sky channels, broken light switches and power outlets were disfigured, dirty cups, dishwashing liquid in Pepsi and Powerade bottles, 1 pillow each on bed per person. If you want a cheap motel to just sleep overnight and spend little time in then that’s fine but really needs some TLC and updating.

The room was clean and cool. My only issue was the front desk was unmanned (due to a holiday) and in order to check in, I had to call to get a key code. This was not obvious as the signage was "We've stepped away for a bit, but we'll be back shortly". Another guest came over to tell us to call. Otherwise the stay was nice.

The room stunk when we walked in. There was no smoke alarm, and when notified staff didnt remedy. There was slimy marks on the walls and also a lipstick kiss mark above the headboard. The rubbish bin was broken. There was burn marks on the duvet. And the shower door rollers were rusted and not moving.

Smells of Mold, old used soap and pubic hair in the shower, mess on the carpets and a general feeling of grottyness. It's like a concrete garage. The customer left after one night, yet they got paid for two nights. We would like a refund. This property is falsely advertising with its pictures and write up.

The smell in the room was vile to say the least! Cross between musty and wet carpet. The bed was so hard and only 2 awful pillows. No facecloths or hand towels were supplied and the shower was so old its not cleanable. Nothing executive about this property.

Pretty disappointed to say the least wished I'd spent a bit more money and gone somewhere else. It started with the photos on here leading me to believe we had a nice unit (obviously from the new side, didn't know at the time) to find we got put in the old side not a big problem but found the front door peeling like it could have seen better days, parking not so great in that area for a ute so I shifted to some other parks. Now we get inside the squashed fly on the ceiling is not appealing and instantly made us feel like this place is disgusting. It only got worse from there bathroom light smelled like it was electrical burning turned it off and I stayed up for about an hour to make sure it didn't catch on fire (on this note we got delayed on the ferry and didn't get to motel until between 12.30am and 1am) informed them in the morning about that before we left. What looked to be blood drip on the wall above the queen bed. When we got up that morning we took the sheets off our beds as we were leaving to find the mattress protectors on some of the beds were dirty with blood and/or dirt??? A couple of other things but as i didn't take photos of them I won't say them. I would never stay there again.

It only got worse from there bathroom light smelled like it was electrical burning turned it off and I stayed up for about an hour to make sure it didn't catch on fire (on this note we got delayed on the ferry and didn't get to motel until between 12.30am and 1am) informed them in the morning about that before we left. What looked to be blood drip on the wall above the queen bed. When we got up that morning we took the sheets off our beds as we were leaving to find the mattress protectors on some of the beds were dirty with blood and/or dirt??? A couple of other things but as i didn't take photos of them I won't say them. I would never stay there again.

No complaints. Staff are lovely, attentive, informative & helpful. Place was clean. Love the basics that are provided with the spot. Free wifi and parking. To my surprise there was an iron & dryer provided too. Bed comes with electric blanket but our one wasn’t working although we didn’t care. There’s a microwave, pots, stove, mini fridge. Love that there’s a heat pump in the room. Good middle spot between Lowerhutt and Petone. Definitely a good spot, if you have no where to go, are travelling etc. I would say it’s good for the price.

This is the 2nd trip i have booked through this site & the 2nd disappointment. I booked late in the evening due to being at the hospital. Went in at 10pm & had to ring for a key. The person in charge said the room i booked had no key due to a cleaner taking it, so she could unlock it with the master key. I said i may have to leave & return. My gears wouldnt be safe. She told me to cancel my booking. I asked where am i going to go at this time of night? She didnt care. So i had to stay there. She unlocked the door, didnt care to turn a light on for us. My adult daughter went searching for a light & slipped over in the kitchen, due to the fridge leaking. So bad. It was switched on, but felt it was defrosting. The bathroom extractor fan didnt work so the floor ended up wet & slippery. The shower head was spraying water everywhere other than down. The room took 4hrs to warm up with the heat pymp. Bed had cotton sheets, freezing & 1 spare blanket. No electric blanket. Very disappointed.
