We used this a stay before the airport. Perfect distance from the airport. Plenty of parking at the rear with camera. We had a double.room with a twin lock off (14) perfect for a family of 4. Staff were lovely and friendly. This is a old coaching house, not a modern hotel so it is quirky but that is its charm.

I couldn't stay. The room allocated to me was up steep external steps. I have arthri.arthritis which means steps ate difficult. I would never hsve boojed if if known abiut the access. No other room was offered so i couldn't stay.

Parked up in free carpark then went to Reception which is at the end of the Bar where we were welcomed by a member of Staff and checked in. The room which was up some steps to the front of the property to our room which was clean & tidy with tea/coffee facilities. Went for a meal downstairs in the Bar which was very nice and reasonably priced. Overall our short stay was fine and also worth a mention the shower was excellent! 🙂

Stayed one night en route to airport. Single room was on floor one with no lift. However, owner helped carry suitcase up and downstairs which was great. Had evening meal and breakfast as extra and was lovely. Good selection of food. Important to reserve a table for evening meal. The room was very nice, a little hot for me but fan was available. Shower good. A lot of accommodation on ground level but only single room available. Would stay again.

Great stopover here a few weeks ago for an early morning flight out of Bristol. The staff was extremely pleasant and the room was very comfortable and clean. Would recommend this hotel.

Good location only 15 mins from Bristol Airport. Not very happy when checking in online, despite having paid for the accommodation in full, I was asked for my debit card details again. When I asked the member of staff at the accommodation, why she required my debit card details again, she was quite rude and just replied "just in case you failed to turn up" which made no sense at all to me.. Food was average, with a lot of dishes unavailable, no Sunday Roast, apparently they hadn't received any deliveries since Xmas.. Our room was situated at the back of the hotel, very comfortable bed. clean and really quiet, our only criticism of the room is the toilet roll hadn't been replenished and the shower and wash hand basin appeared blocked as the water didn't drain into the plug hole, leaving water in the bottom of sink and shower.. This accommodation waa ok for an overnight stopover for the airport, but I I would't stay here again.

Spacious room, comfy bed but lots of cobwebs in the bedroom, a wet patch on the floor from a leaky radiator & the shower, although hot & powerful wouldn't stay up so had to be held. Overall a bit tired but absolutely fine for an overnight stay before the airport. Great food in the pub.

Room was basic, dated and not particularly clean. Beams had thick layer of dust and light fittings were full of dead flies/dirt. Also being tall we found the bathroom very difficult to manoeuvre in as was unable to stand by sink or toilet due to slope on roof.

Great place for overnight stay before a flight from Bristol. Great little place, staff friendly and attentive, good value wholesome food on offer, comfy bed, clean room etc. The only negative which for us was quite dominant was the emergency light in room 12, it emits such a bright green glow that kept us awake. If this light could be changed for a more amenable one I'd give the Fox and Goose 5 star's.

Above the bed there was an emergency exit light with a green LED that lit up the entire room during the night and no way to turn it off. Sleep was very difficult because of this

Convenient location, food ok, but very much pub food, but then it is a pub. Rooms at the back were quiet and comfortable but couldn’t get any wifi, no shelf in bathroom or glasses in the room. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was extra but freshly cooked.

Room looked great i could not reach the blind on the window above the bed so it was quite a job The shower rail was broken so could not raise the shower The noise was horendous i felt i was on the airport runway On a plus it was clean and tidy

Our room was road side, impossible to open window as road noise would have kept you awake. Room next door had a very creaky bed and the wall was paper thin between us so didn't get much sleep. Other rooms at the back of pub are much better, would definitely not stop again if put in rooms 11, 12 and 14.

Wey surprised by this little pub and hotel. Was much nicer than I was expecting. Room had everything I needed for a pre flight rest! Will definitely use again. The aiport bus stops and picks up almost right outside also. So very convienient.

Booked here as we don’t know the area and needed to be near to terminal for an early morning flight . Room clean & cosy can’t fault it shower great but the letdown is the noise from traffic we never slept a wink perhaps we should have done a bit more research before booking here . Also it’s £22 to terminal from hotel which takes 3 minutes bit steep I’d say . Restaurant downstairs great service & food Rachel who checked us in lovely.

Close to airport, if you have time airport bus stops out the front. Bolt cheaper than taxi and Uber. Food was nice. Would stay again.

Ideal stop overnight before early flight. I had a room at the back so warm, comfortable (good bed and bedding) and quiet (apart from annoying people downstairs making a series of calls on hands free!) but not sure I would have been as happy with a room fronting on to the busy road. Had a good dinner in the pub and the staff could not have been more pleasant.

Good location only 15 mins from Bristol Airport. Not very happy when checking in online, despite having paid for the accommodation in full, I was asked for my debit card details again. When I asked the member of staff at the accommodation, why she required my debit card details again, she was quite rude and just replied "just in case you failed to turn up" which made no sense at all to me.. Food was average, with a lot of dishes unavailable, no Sunday Roast, apparently they hadn't received any deliveries since Xmas.. Our room was situated at the back of the hotel, very comfortable bed. clean and really quiet, our only criticism of the room is the toilet roll hadn't been replenished and the shower and wash hand basin appeared blocked as the water didn't drain into the plug hole, leaving water in the bottom of sink and shower.. This accommodation waa ok for an overnight stopover for the airport, but I I would't stay here again.

Friendly and attentive staff, good pub food and a really clean and spacious room. Only downside was we could really hear the traffic in the room, but we were aware the hotel was on the road when we booked.

Spacious room, comfy bed but lots of cobwebs in the bedroom, a wet patch on the floor from a leaky radiator & the shower, although hot & powerful wouldn't stay up so had to be held. Overall a bit tired but absolutely fine for an overnight stay before the airport. Great food in the pub.

Stayed one night en route to airport. Single room was on floor one with no lift. However, owner helped carry suitcase up and downstairs which was great. Had evening meal and breakfast as extra and was lovely. Good selection of food. Important to reserve a table for evening meal. The room was very nice, a little hot for me but fan was available. Shower good. A lot of accommodation on ground level but only single room available. Would stay again.

We had a fantastic over night stay here. The room was large, modern and had everything we needed for a 1 night stay before an early flight from Bristol. We stayed in room 14, from the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome from the staff on site. Check in was quick and helped to sort the free parking via their tablet on the bar. We dined here and the food was lovely with very generous portion sizes! The drinks were lovely, the staff were ALL excellent and the pub its self is a lovely 'traditional feel' pub. The garden and the decking at the back was a lovely sun trap too! The bed for the overnight stay was very comfortable and was a nice touch to have the fan running before we arrived. The only little niggles was the room smelt a little damp/musty and the lights on the bedside didn't work, but this will not put us off returning it recommending to anybody. We'll be back!

Very basic room, clean and functional but right next to the A38 so traffic noise all night. Pillows were completely flat so not ideal. Really disappointed with the food offer. When I booked I was asked if I wanted a £40 food voucher for what I assumed was £20. This wasn’t the offer at all so not sure why you would buy a £40 food voucher if you weren’t benefiting from it! Food was ok standard but expensive for what it was. Room served a purpose as its only a 5 minute drive to the airport but wouldn’t stay again.
