The Mill fitted in with my plans ideally ie. accommodation, food and a drink all under one roof. The rooms are in a slightly dated annexe but this is not detrimental. Clean, tidy decor and quiet with adequate parking spaces. Decent breakfast included in the price, plus a good selection of pub food for an evening meal. Staff were all helpful. The only minor issue was very poor water pressure in room 13 (unlucky for me) - having a shower was challenging to say the least and I reported to the proprietor.

The property is rural but right next to a main road. There is little around it but I knew that going in. The rooms are nice and well presented but the shower is pitiful and the shower pump is so noisy. The pub attached is ok but nothing special

Friendly helpful staff. Clean comfortable rooms. Secure gated rear parking area available, perfect for our motorbikes. Arrived quite late in the evening, left early so didn’t eat there, but did enjoy a nice pint of real ale when we arrived at 10pm. Great for an overnight stop to break our journey.

Value for money. All rooms been updated. Room 6 very clean, bed comfortable and room warm. There are 2 heaters but only needed to use one as they really kicked out heat. Shower ok but would be better if hand held was not stuck in its holder and unable to lift off. Takes ages for hot water to come through. WiFi not good at all. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Meals in the pub are generous in portions and good quality. Would definitely stay again.

It’s a nice place. Quiet after about 8pm, the pub restaurant is always busy and the food is nice. The staff are lovely and it’s just a nice chilled place to stay. It has WiFi and lots of parking. Bathroom is clean and has a good shower. :)

Good value for money especially considering the price, the staff in the adjoining pub (reception for hotel) were most helpful, No frills but, clean, ideal for a stop off overnight etc, decent sized rooms, great bathrooms and merciful on the wallet,,, stayed before and will do again

Hotel staff were warm and welcoming, as usual. Cleaning staff can't do enough for you to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Bar is clean and comfortable, reasonably priced and a reasonably varied menu.

Really friendly Staff. Good food and bargain at low cost. Great Parking. Just a little noisy with busy road passing by had to close window during nighttime. On the whole great place to hole up if visiting Leicester.

Room was dilapidated. Bathroom basin had tepid water only. Water pressure at all taps was very poor. Shower was almost impossible to use as pressure was so low. Room was cold only heated by 2 antiquated panel heaters. Bed was very comfy. Room was clean. Coffee, tea etc renewed almost each day. Light from outside at night filtered through into room as bathroom door couldnt be closed.

For staying while diving at Stoney Cove its perfect. Nothing fancy (which I don't really want anyway....) but comfortable, clean, wam and friendly helpful staff and a very good meal at the pub. Excellent value. I will be staying there again for sure.....

Stayed in room 18. Whenever any room called for water the water pump housed close by made a loud noise with vibration. You could cope with before you tried to sleep but throughout the night it was horrific. Got absolutely no sleep.

It's the only green king pub I've stayed at where the rooms were cold and no way of changing the heating. The windows wouldn't shut properly and there was a noise all night from the external water or heater pump. I kept waking me up. Think it was because of where my room was so if you're staying it's a great place great value for money just don't stay anywhere near room 19 or you will be awake most of the night.

It's the only green king pub I've stayed at where the rooms were cold and no way of changing the heating. Good value stay in a spacious room. Bed was comfortable but the water pressure was very low which meant that the shower had very little power.

The room was basic, but generally clean and comfortable. There wad a desk and chair, but no comfortable chair to relax in. However, the room was cold on arrival, and the heater which was labelled 'leave on' wasn't working. I was offered 2 alternaive rooms, one only had one heater, the other had 2. They were all off, so I chose the one with 2 heaters which were working and left them off an went to th pub for a drink. It was getting warm when I returned so acceptable. Breakfast the first morning was ok, but on the 2nd morning there was no yogurt of any type! So I didn't get my usual greek yogurt and fruit.

Hotel staff were warm and welcoming, as usual. Cleaning staff can't do enough for you to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Bar is clean and comfortable, reasonably priced and a reasonably varied menu.

The Mill fitted in with my plans ideally ie. accommodation, food and a drink all under one roof. The rooms are in a slightly dated annexe but this is not detrimental. Clean, tidy decor and quiet with adequate parking spaces. Decent breakfast included in the price, plus a good selection of pub food for an evening meal. Staff were all helpful. The only minor issue was very poor water pressure in room 13 (unlucky for me) - having a shower was challenging to say the least and I reported to the proprietor.

The property is rural but right next to a main road. There is little around it but I knew that going in. The rooms are nice and well presented but the shower is pitiful and the shower pump is so noisy. The pub attached is ok but nothing special

For staying while diving at Stoney Cove its perfect. Nothing fancy (which I don't really want anyway....) but comfortable, clean, wam and friendly helpful staff and a very good meal at the pub. Excellent value. I will be staying there again for sure.....

Friendly helpful staff. Clean comfortable rooms. Secure gated rear parking area available, perfect for our motorbikes. Arrived quite late in the evening, left early so didn’t eat there, but did enjoy a nice pint of real ale when we arrived at 10pm. Great for an overnight stop to break our journey.

It’s a nice place. Quiet after about 8pm, the pub restaurant is always busy and the food is nice. The staff are lovely and it’s just a nice chilled place to stay. It has WiFi and lots of parking. Bathroom is clean and has a good shower. :)

Good value for money especially considering the price, the staff in the adjoining pub (reception for hotel) were most helpful, No frills but, clean, ideal for a stop off overnight etc, decent sized rooms, great bathrooms and merciful on the wallet,,, stayed before and will do again

Was reasonably prices, nice and quiet, clean and bed very comforable. Very well placed for city and hVing facilities to eat on the premises was very convenient. Will return again definately.

Staff were very courteous and helpful. Room went from very cold to too hot with no in between. Food was really poor and obviously re-heated.

The room itself was lovely. Very spacious room with a comfortable bed and everything would expect from a hotel room and situated in a separate building away from the main building with the pub so it's quiet. The staff on check-in were amazing and very helpful. There's plenty of parking around which meant I didn't struggle to get parked up and into the hotel when I arrived. My only gripes about the room was: - Water pressure isn't great in the room. Not sure if I was just unlucky with that room or it's a common thing in that building, but the water out of the bath tap came out as not much more than a dribble. On top of that, the button to divert the water to the attached shower head was broken, so having a shower was impossible and unless you wanted to wait forever for a bath to fill, you're basically not able to clean yourself. The sink tap pressure was fine, it was just the bath tap pressure that was awful. - The USB ports on the plug sockets by the TV didn't work. I tried multiple cables that I had with me and neither of the two ports in the socket worked. I ended up having to use the USB port in the back of the TV to charge my devices which meant it only got charge when the TV was on. I was only there for one night and by the time I checked out, it was at the crack of dawn so there wasn't anybody to mention this to during my stay. The food at the pub was delicious too. Great portion sizes and reasonably priced as well.

Hotel was very dated and the food at the restaurant was very poor 1st breakfast that came out was cold and the replacement ones were dripping in fat hence we got a refund. We were in room no 2 and there was awful noise like a pump going off every couple of minutes, two very tired people.
