MHO Hotel Dover

When we first arrived we were given a dirty room. There were no towels and the floor was very dirty. It looked like the bed was made that was it. We went to the front desk and said something. They then gave us another room in the exact same condition. Which when you opened the door you had to throw your body weight into because it was stuck. No towels and dirty floor in the second room too. We left and went to the race. The next morning I went to the office and asked for towels. The lady at the desk told me I had to exchange our old ones to get new ones. I told her that we never got any. She told me she would send the cleaning people with towels to the room when they got there at 7am. She took my name and number and said she would tell management. At 8:30 we still didn’t have any towels, so we went to find a cleaning person to get some. After we got towels. I went to shower and the shower had no hot water at all. The sink was the only thing with hot water. Outlets by the bed didn’t work. I have still never been contacted by management 2 days later.

My check clerk Ms Harriet was the only reason I stayed this time. Stay last year under a different name but same owner. Sapose to be upgrade the rooms etc. maintenance was helpful, since the phone in the room had No cord ( can’t call for help if needed)

Don't stay here. The room was dirty and didnt appear to have been cleaned bewteen the last guest's check out. The room smelled very strong like cigarette smoke and wet mildew. We booked a room that advertised queen beds, but the beds were full. The room didn't have towels and the frontndesk couldn't locate any when we requested them. We were in town for a NASCAR event and unfortunately didn't have any other hotel options to go to or we would have left 2 minutes after checking in. We went to target to spend $76 on buying our own towels, cleaning supplies, and room deodorizers to make the best of a situation we were stuck in. The room also didn't have a tv remote, apparently they get turned into the front desk when you check out. The outlets were broken or just holes in wall where an outlet used to be. Most lights didnt work or they didn't have bulbs in. Mounting hardware came out of toilet. I had an early check out Sunday morning so I asked the office guy the night before if was ok to check out around 6am. He said someone will be there since the office is open 24/7. Sunday morning trying to check out and the office door is locked. I called the office twice, no answer. I then knocked on the office door and a lady came out and began cussing at me in front of my 10 year old daughter saying didn't have time check people out cause people will need breakfast. To top off the entire stay, the hotel refused to honor the hotels.com room price for the room & upcharged by $60.

Gross. Do not stay here. When we checked in our room wasn’t ready and we arrived an hour after check in. Our shower was broke, tv was broke, cigarette burn on our blanket, towel rack was falling down, broken toilet paper holder, and the mini was not cold, smoke detector needed batteries and was chirping and the room smelled like cigarettes

The place just seem very old and is in a need updated. they might want to hire more staff to keep the rooms clean and
