The valet parking attendant was helpful. The front desk staff professional and courteous. The hotel has been well maintained! The hotel location was located in downtown Evanston close to restaurants and short walking to the paths of Lake Michigan. We paid more for this stay than the other ones we stayed on this trip but the experience was well worth it!

The hotel is in a great location, walkable to the beach and restaurants. The staff did a good job, but were a bit understaffed. Valet took about 20 minutes to get our car. Our room was without any towels, so we had to get them from the front desk because housekeeping wasn’t started for the day yet at 8a. The bathrooms are very small. We recommend this hotel and would stay again.

I checked in early and dropped the luggage off first. The front desk told me that i could come back around 2pm and the room should be ready. I went back around 2:45 and was told the room is not ready. (which is fine, i know the official check in time is 3pm) the lady in the front desk told me she msged the house keeping but the room is just not ready. i asked couple more times when will the room be ready, and they couldn't give me answer and just kept saying that they are still waiting for the house keeping to reply. they offered me breakfast coupon at first, but i told them i really don't need any compensation, i just wanted to get to my room. later, they told me they would take half of the price off for the first night due to the late check in. however, i found out later they charged me full price and didnt even email me a copy of my receipt.

Front desk staff are so friendly, welcoming, and helpful! The housekeeping personnel are also nice. They remembered us from our first stay back in April. The location is very convenient to restaurants, shops, and public transportation.

Parking valet was sometimes very slow due to staffing. Room was nice but wished we could have turned the thermostat down a little lower. the control would only allow the user to cool to 68 degrees. The room felt too warm at night.
