Fairfield Inn & Suites White Marsh

Our stay was excellent. The breakfast very good. Very attentive staff. However, the pool was in full view of the breakfast area. The pool looked nasty.

One elevator was out of order and the furniture in the room was visibly worn but EVERYTHING was CLEAN. The AMAZING staff was courteous, pleasant, and helpful. The breakfast was FRESH AND DELICIOUS with good selections. The breakfast area was kept very clean! The carpets were clean. The area was quiet and the view was pretty. This was great value for the price!

The first room we were in had a broken pull out bed. The bed was crooked and mattress was filthy. The second room also had a dirty pull out mattress but at least it wasn’t broken. I don’t understand why they have mattress protectors on the bed but not on the pull out mattresses. The pool was seriously overcrowded with kids using squirt guns on everyone, toddlers throwing game pieces out of the pool area, parents obviously not supervising the kids, and an overwhelming smell of dirty diapers. The carpets in the room obviously hadn’t been cleaned or washed in a long time. And tub dripped constantly.

Like brand new. Very clean. Overall, a great stay with some minor inconveniences. We had a suite that provided a TV in the bedroom area and the sitting area has a larger TV. Bedroom TV worked fine. The large TV was a bit of a headache. Two remotes with no instructions about how to operate them. After 15 minutes, I was going to call the front desk to have someone show me the secret, but I felt too stupid. So, I plugged away until I stumble upon whatever combination and the picture came on. Then it took a while to get sound. There was only a bit of instruction on the screen, but following that was not much help. Once it was working, the guide for programs was totally wrong. The time and date was wrong and programs did not match the guide. Day 2, 3, and 4 was a repeated scenario. On the 3rd day we walked around the building, and I finally read one of the many signs that have a very large scan symbol. I don't scan things with my phone, so I had ignored it. It says "to pay for parking, scan the sign." ????? We were not told anything about this when we checked in. So, we spent some time at the front desk to get this resolved. Credit Card Mix UP: When checking in we used my wife's card. Later, I got notice that my card was charged. More time at the desk. We were assured that only the last card used would be charged. For several days after we left, the charge remained on my card. Finally it was removed from my card. All is Good.

The air conditioning was not working. One of the two elevators was not working. The pool was out of service for one day.

The staff was amazing and helpful at every step. The room had a little musty smell and the tv was a challenge to use. The pool was chained shut and it looked like they gave up mid-cleaning, but the breakfast was nice! Overall a good place to stay

Pool was closed. I think online should’ve said seasonal check in advance because we didn’t want to use the pool September. Colder weather makes sense that it’s closed but maybe I missed if it was indoor outdoor but just a double notification for people like me who miss it? Breakfast would’ve been nice if it would’ve been 6 to 10 that extra hour helps since checkout is not till noon

This hotel has its own private parking lot that you have to pay to park in. It’s $14/day. This is not disclosed anywhere that I noticed ahead of time. This is the first time I’ve ever had to pay to park in a hotel’s own lot and I feel it’s a deceptive practice. I will not be staying here again.

The room was comfortable. One of the two elevators wasnt working, and the ice machine wasnt working on our floor. The temperature in the common rooms was uncomfortable. There were large fans trying to help with the heat, but then the noise was overwhelming. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

For spending a littler over 400$ for a room, I wasn't expecting the small defects that stood out when I went in the room. It looked like it was water damage from a room upstairs (the ceiling was damaged); the bathroom tub & wall definitely had stains that made me a little concerned with taking a shower. Overall the services was great!

The toilet in the room was dirty, there was hair in the tub, the flat iron was under my pillow, and the TV did not work. They would not switch my room or even refund me.

My linens were stained I had to call front desk ,they sent someone right away ,also the chair in the room had a big stain ,other than that staff was really nice I wish I could send pics

BED BUGS!!!! DO NOT STAY HERE! Got eaten alive by bed bugs in room 131. Took pictures and everything and the staff did nothing. Would never expect this from a Marriott. I’m extremely upset and now dealing with all the repercussions of staying in a place with a bed bug infestation.

The carpet was dirty. It had stains. I would have checked out but I was tired and it was just one night.

It was very clean, an excellent value for the price, and the staff were friendly.

Our mattress was horrible.. completely sunken in on the pull couch and one of the queen beds.. we asked for a replacement mattress they brought us a comforter. Worst night sleep

Everything was ok untill... I went to bed on that horrible Mattress. My whole body hurts from sleeping on it. Time for new beds ... Because I could feel the Springs. Horrible.

Overall, we liked our accommodations, similar to other places we have stayed. Appreciated that our "larger" group was able to stay on same floor and closely together. Breakfast was awesome! Was not able to use my laptop since I could not internet after multiple attempts and support from front desk. Hallways and dining area was very hot (I believe this was due to heating issues though), but was difficult to just hang out in those areas. Overall very happy with our stay. :)

Very good as far as cleanliness. Breakfast is decent. Always coffee available!! Beds are not comfortable. Something wrong with mattresses. Feels like it’s the box spring only. But I keep staying there

Everything with the exception of the actual beds was good. The beds in my room were sunk in the middle and lumpy. I had two queen beds and both were that way.

The mattresses were terrible! Most of the springs are sprung/broken. Noisy and flat.

The Fairfield Hotel had everything we needed, is in a very good location near White Marsh Mall, room was clean and service desk was very nice and helpful. The only thing I would improve was the older 36" TV.

It was extremely noisy. Until the wee hours of the morning. When asked to change rooms, I was told that it wasn't noisy. Not sure how one would define it.

Everything was good except you can hear every noise coming in from everywhere. Conversations from outside and next door can be heard.

Everything was fine except the AC unit did not work fine something wrong with it

The front desk gentleman was above excellent. Quickly checked us in early and we didn’t have to sit in our car awaiting a medical appointment. He was friendly and super efficient and went over and above our expectations without even asking. Wow we stay at this hotel a lot and this staff member deserves a raise. Love the personal touch he brought to our recent trip. Thanks

It took the front desk 30 mins to get us checked in. They didn’t know their credit card portal was down and kept telling us our cc declined. They finally gave us a room after speaking with our bank that it wasn’t our cc. Then the room they gave us had a horrible body odor smell, they changed our room only to smell like insect repellent which we initially ignored because we had to run out. Upon return at night we noticed that our room was infested with ants. It was too late to call someone since we only had 3 hours to sleep and before we headed for the airport. Called after leaving early in the morning and the receptionist said there were no managers on staff. Utterly disgusting and disappointed.

This is a great tucked-away hotel. The staff is super helpful!!

Check in was easy being that it was prepaid from a promotion with my bank card. Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly during our one night stay. This hotel has curb appeal and is kept in very good condition.

The property was in a great location near lots of Transportation but it was quiet and I couldn't hear any traffic noise. Everybody I came in contact with was courteous and friendly and the breakfast was really good the coffee was great.

Great location and accommodations. Staff was friendly, check in was finished in minutes, the room was spacious and comfortable. I felt safe in the area, well lit parking lot and staff presence.

Convenient to highway and where we needed to go. This is the second time we stayed at this hotel. We will stay here again if back in the area.

Very close to white marsh mall and other areas

The hotel was clean, quiet, well staffed with friendly employees, and there was easy access to major highways in the area.

Hotel is clean and quiet. It is in a great location, easily accessible from I-95/I-695 and close to shopping. Room showed signs of wear and could use an update. We were in town to move our daughter into college apt so it was perfect for our needs.

It’s far from anything but the location is nice. If you go without a car your screwed.

Thus property was located near a busy commercial area with a huge mall, lots of restaurants, etc. However it was nestled on a quiet cul-de-sac away from the noise and stress of the outside world. This plus the cleanliness and the outstanding coziness of the room equipped with a fridge and a microwave helped for a simple, stress free stay and a good night’s rest. Kudos to the Fairfield Inn at White Marsh, MD.

The area is really nice convenient to a lot of stores.

Everything was good but breakfast was very basic . We stayed 5 days same breakfast served each day . And sometimes runs out every thing within serving hours.

Dirty carpets. Room temp breakfast. We got to eat at 9:15 & there were hardly any scrambled eggs. Staff passed by & didn’t refill anything. Oatmeal & scrambled eggs not warm. Advertisement said mini waffles & omelets. That was false. Comfortable beds. Tried the body wash in a pump. Didn’t lather or come out easily. Rough towels. Clean counters. Nice front staff. Soft pillows. Not worth the $ paid. Stayed here bc it was close to a Perry Hall concert.

It was ok the bed was way too firm. And the breakfast was just ok. The service personnel were hovering around the food at 8:45 and I was told when I checked in that breakfast was served until 10:00. But they only served breakfast until 9:00 am

Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott was excellent. From the cold water with fruit at entry to the comfortable beds, they are tops. Excellent service. Breakfast was the best: quiche , fresh eggs, crispy breakfast meat and an incredible oatmeal bar with walnuts, pumpkin seeds and dried fruit. Highly recommend.

This hotel was extremely clean and well decorated. The room was spotless and spacious. The mattresses were firm, which I don't prefer, but most people do. :-) The complementary breakfast was the best free hotel breakfast I've had. They had egg white frittatas; sausage, egg, and cheese sandwiches on English muffins; fresh scrambled eggs; fresh bacon; several options for bread; cooked oatmeal; a toppings bar with granola, nuts, etc.; fresh fruit; yogurt; a waffle station; cereal; and more. The coffee was also better than most hotel coffee. I highly recommend this hotel, especially the staff, who are friendly and efficient.

Awesome Stay! If they could just add one more waffle maker instead of having the one available during breakfast that would be great!
