We stayed 2 nights in Junior suite and two extra nights in standard room, both overlooking the water. Both were very clean l, spotless rooms. Suite is spacious and standard room about quarter of the suite size so if you need more space, the suite is the way to go. Hotel has full bar and restaurant with wide selection menu. Four min walking to bus stop, five to nearest coffee shop and bistro with delicious local sandwiches, pastries and gelato. Prices for local food are very reasonable, €1.70 for a coffee, €1.00 for a cup of tea, €7.00 for delicious paninni. Six min walk to famous boardwalk where locals and tourist walk also at night after late dinner, this is Calabria tradition. You will feel safe here.

A clean and minimal but charming with thoughtful details. Very friendly staff and good breakfast with many options. A 10 minute walk away from the touristy downtown area; it’s a nice walk along the beach. And it’s far quieter. The room has three large windows facing the ocean. Gorgeous view and nice breeze. Loved this hotel.

Balcony was greatly appreciated. The hotel is pretty awful though. The bed was fine. Shower was terrible. Room pretty dirty. Black feet after a shower isn’t cool. Not particularly central. Right next to be ferry terminal though.

No There was broken glass in the bathroom on the edges of the floor and the shower corners could use a good scrub (there was pink coloured bacteria growing). Otherwise the main room was very nice and the view was spectacular.

Buona la posizione vicino al porto,buona la colazione e disponibili il personale. Purtroppo la stanza assegnata era molto rumorosa per via della presenza dei compressori dell'aria condizionata (di tutto il primo piano dell'albergo) situato proprio sul balcone della nostra camera ! Non è stato possibile cambiare camera per via dell'albergo pieno per cui abbiamo passato la notte in bianco.

This is the best staff I’ve ever encountered in a hotel, and I travel a LOT. Super friendly and helpful. We love the waterfront of Reggio and this is on the far end of it and just steps away from the ferry to Messina, Sicily. So convenient! I definitely recommend you take them up on their offer for airport transportation because we paid so much more hailing a taxi at the airport. The shower is small, but AMAZING! . I would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Continental. The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful, amazing breakfast, with delicious croissants, homemade cakes, fresh fruit, juices and coffee. The room was perfect, good size and comfortable. The hotel is in a good location, quieter near the port side, but a short walk to the main attractions, the shops, the lugomare, the beach and the very famous ice cream parlour. Thank you to all the staff.

Very nice hotel at a good location. Receptionists were very welcoming and helpful! They helped us with train as the found and printed train timetable towards Scilla and back. Even staff who didn't speak English were kind and helpful we used Google translate to communicate and had no issues! Restaurant staff and housekeeping were very welcoming too! Area was very cheap with nice food at very good price! If you are staying at Reggio Calabria I strongly suggest visiting Le Vie del Gusto restaurant with traditional food, good portions and really good prices!

Sehr gute Lage mit Blick auf Hafen und Ätna. Nur 150 m Entfernung zur Fährabfahrt Liberty Lines nach Messina. Sehr gut gelegen, konnten gut schlafen auf sehr guter Matratze. Zu Fuß mehr als 30 Minuten zum Dom, kaum Busalternativen.

The hotel is only 2 minutes from the ferry terminal to Sicily. Also close to Reggio di Calabria Lido train station. The Reggio di Calabria Centrale station is a good walk further away. Hotel is very close to the famous Lungomare. Our room was great for a short stay overnight.

It was a very pleasant stay for us. Myself and my friend stayed for 3 nights. The location was great, walkable, quiet, great view of sea ( we got a jr suite)! The staff were very helpful and friendly. To my surprise the restaurant was excellent! It was rainy and windy, so we ate at the restaurant, chef made some vegetables as I didn’t want big meals. It was surprisingly delicious and so reasonable! Loved it!
