The desk çlerk was super. The pool was actually closed for the season but he opened it for my kids. No problems with anything. Very clean. Whole staff was really friendly and helpful.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable but our card didn’t work to open the door on the back of the inn and the closest elevator was out of order. But overall I’d stay here again.

Room was ok but bathroom OMG tube needs redone doors don’t close all the way a towels have stains a never none available. They wait till you get there an say no breakfast. THE POOL NASTY. This should definitely be a place to house homeless lots of them around. Whole building run down if I had a car before booking would have never picked this hotel.

It didn't look bad till we started to our room. It was dirty, the pool was dirty, garbage overflowing, elevators filthy, our room smelled stale and was just clean. People were coming and going out if the outside doors because they did not lock. People were yelling and fighting all night long. We were woke up at 3:00 in the morning by people partying outside our room. People were slamming things at 6:00 in the morning and laughing and pushing carts outside just a very loud and dirty hotel. Not very safe. QOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL AT ALL. FROM A 0-10 IT WOULD BE A 100!!!!!! STAY AWAY. RUN, RUN, RUN, AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!!!

The hotel is NOT even 5% of what it looks like in the photos. From the reception to the room, it was very dirty. When we got to the room, it was like watching a horror movie. The mattresses were dirty, the floor, the bathroom had dead flies on the ceiling. It is a hotel for after parties because we couldn't sleep.

Terrible! We walked in looked around and had to leave immediately. Door would shut; A/C was not even on. Sheets and Comforter was dirty. Had multiple stains and blood on them. We are still trying to get in touch with Manager to receive a refund! We did not stay and drove home that night. Ridiculous!

There was an odor when walking into the lobby. It just smelled dirty. The room was clean, but the walkways were littered with trash and vomit in one spot. There was water near the vomit as if It someone tried to clean the vomit, but missed. The fire alarm system was beeping from the time we checked in through checkout. My husband is a fireman and regularly checks those systems. He said they must have had on a bypass or it needed to be reset. I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels and this was definitely the dirtiest. Housekeeping does not even pretend to care. Sticky stuff splattered up multiple walls, bedding had huge stains all over it, counters had clearly not been wiped down after several different guest and it stinks as soon as you walk in

The grounds of this hotel are extremely dirty, its covered in empty alcholic beverage containers, cigarettes butts, and trash. The room had foreign/unknown substances all over the walls, doors and bed sheets. I tried to suck it because I was only staying for one night, but ended up leaving after an hour of checking in. I felt unsafe and uncomfortable. Not worth it!

Room very plain. Door had air/light gaps around frame. Bathroom door had large crack like someone had kicked open. Room was next busy noisy highway and near airport with planes landing into the night. The worst motel stay in over 20 yrs. Virtually no sleep for the night. The inside of the bathroom was the only nice part of the room; clean and well appointed.

The room was in terrible condition. All they had left was a smoking room so we took it. There were broken mirrors, cigarette holes in sheets, graffiti on the furniture, ran out of hot water. Asked to have it repaired and no one responded after multiple attempts. I wish them the best. But they need to at least offer customer service.

This is the worst hotel I’ve stayed in years. Ghetto does not quite describe how bad this place was. The pictures on site are deceiving. There elevator smelled had a funky odor and not sure if people in these rooms are on some type voucher program or what, but the some looked they were there a while. The noise and loud music went on all night long and my husband got no sleep and I slept with a pillow over my ears. I don’t know what the deal was but I will notvstay there again.

This place was terrible upon arriving. First I was told that my room hadn't been paid for (which it had been days prior and I had the authorization code to prove). Then Expedia kept trying to call him to get it cleared up and he wouldn't answer the phone. Then when I told him Expedia was attempting to call him because I was chatting with them via the app he proceeded to tell me that their systems were down that's why the payment wasn't processed. I finally complained that he needed to answer the phone so Expedia could correct the problem. So he did and the Expedia rep told him how is he having problem with the payment now if it was authorized days ago and they took the payment days ago and they had the authorization number. Miraculously the system came back up at that moment. And I was let in to my room 2 hours after check in. Secondly the place was horrendous. Dirty inside and out. Homeless people were sitting at the entrance asking for money and walking around the hotel. The place had had an accident before because you could tell several areas had already disintegrated and fell down to floors below. An area in particular was above my room. I was working night shift so I sleep during the day, and Nan the noise wouldn't let me sleep. So when I told the front desk guy he said they didn't move people from rooms. It was take it or leave it. Place sucked and this place needs to be shut down and taken down from Expedia. Extremely dangerous, extremely unclean, in terrible disrepair

You get what you pay for here. Arrived an hour early and was told by front desk lady that there is absolutely no early checkin which is fine but she was terribly rude about it and definitely not welcoming or even polite. Other than that it old, dated, in need of upgrading and repairs but it was a place to stay close to where we wanted to be!

It was just a bad experience from the beginning. The customer service lady was very rude. The first room she sent us to was dirty. So I had to wait for another room. I liked the staff a lot and the place has a cozy feel. Whenever I had questions everyone was very helpful. There were great rats right by the property and I was able to walk to them.

They need to ensure the guest safety. the building should be secured and not easily accessible to anyone off the street. It smells funny. The environment does not feel safe for female travelers. They did return my money after I saw the room and the hallways and didnt feel safe, but I still had to pay them for a night EVEN THOUGH I was just there 5 MINUTES TOTAL! I don't think its fair to pay for a hotel with misleading advertisement, and I AM PISSED AT HOTELS.COM because you all, ARE NOT MAKING SURE THESE HOTELS ARE ACCURATE WHEN LISTING THEIR PROPERTIES AND WHAT THE ROOMS LOOK LIKE NOR THE SAFETY OF THE PREMISES OF THE HOTELS YOU LIST. Horrible experience I arrived to check in received the key proceeded to go to the room and was immediately approached by 2 men trying to sell narcotics. I felt afraid for my life. Environment was very worn dirty and unsafe. I proceeded expeditiously to the front desk and return the key. The area of the room and poor lock on the door wasn’t up to part. I wouldn’t recommend this property

We stayed the weekend for an adult softball tournament. Didn't plan on being in the room much so went a little cheaper than normal. For the price I'm not going to complain too much, but definitely could of been cleaner. Convenient location, staff was really friendly and helpful.

Room was ok but bathroom OMG tube needs redone doors don’t close all the way a towels have stains a never none available. They wait till you get there an say no breakfast. THE POOL NASTY. This should definitely be a place to house homeless lots of them around. Whole building run down if I had a car before booking would have never picked this hotel.

The house keeping staff was amazing! Our room was very clean and house keeping was prompt every morning with room service. No breakfast was provided at the hotel. Small hot water heater, so no long showers.

We are longtime clients of Red Roof because of our pups, but we were totally…disgusted! Now, I understand that it was Mardi Gras and, having grown up in Baton Rouge, that maybe the area there in Kenner is not the best, but it was all just a mess. The grounds, inside and out, were filled with trash, pool area included, all over the parking lots in front and back, cans overflowing, everything. No coffee or breakfast—again, the excuse of Mardi Gras, I suppose, didn’t bother asking. Out of necessity, we got a handicapped accessible room, #122 or something, that gave off a horror movie kinda vibe, with a closet-like room that had a latch on the OUTSIDE, and a very strange shower setup. Furniture was a wreck, had to wedge a drawer shut so we wouldn’t hit it during our stay, but the wooden bedframe was LARGER than the mattress so we did hit the corners of that a few times. I honestly wish we’d taken pictures so that we could post them! Needless to say, we will NOT stay there again!!! The absolute worst Red Roof in the many years that we’ve happily stayed with them.

The first time I stayed at this hotel was also the last. The impression was terrible right from the moment I walked through the doors—a very unpleasant smell hit my nose immediately. It smelled old, like an old house, everything was old. The odor was so overwhelming and pungent that it made me want to throw up. When I got into the room, there was still that old smell, though slightly better. After 10 minutes, your sense of smell gets used to it so you don't notice it as much anymore. However, when you check out and leave, you realize that your entire body and clothes have absorbed that foul odor—a smell so bad you wouldn't dare stand near anyone. Everything—the facilities—is extremely, extremely bad, rundown as if it hasn't been maintained in hundreds of years. This hotel is not fit for human habitation; it would honestly be more suitable as a pet hotel. The elevator couldn't possibly be any worse, and cockroaches and mice scamper around brazenly. The internet signal is good, but there is completely no internet. It only works for about five minutes and then completely cuts out. I struggled the whole day long and finally decided to use my own phone data. I'm warning you: do not waste your money here.
