The property is nestled in the foothills, tucked away from any noise, and just close enough to Nederland. Calm, a river, picturesque, brilliantly decorated, great hot tub, a fire pit, the stars….an absolutely perfect getaway for our family. We all want to come back tomorrow. We all highly recommend!

My sister & I adored this cabin! It had everything we needed--2 good tv areas for me & and good kitchen for my sister. Even more impressive were the steam shower, the heated floors, and beautiful hand crated gas fire pit on the upper deck. The cabin was spotless which is impressive given it's located in wilderness. The constant sound of the river and the occasional sound of the trains were both peaceful. I also liked watching the fly fishermen (many of whom had no clue what they were doing which amused me as a former fisherman myself). The last bit of road to the house is dirt and bumpy, so a 4WD helps. And the metal staircase going from the parking area to the entrance was difficult to navigate with luggage--the wheels get stuck in the metal grating. But the staircase will come in handy when it snows. The hosts could not have been more friendly or helpful. They replied quickly to any questions or concerns we had. My sister & I are already planning another stay at this peaceful cabin in the woods.

Adult couples staying for long weekend of relaxing and catching up with family we don't see often. The house is beyond the description and photos! It's outstanding with every detail thought out with full intention. My husband and I are artists and detail oriented so we notice when a property if done right, this home is exceptional. We enjoyed every bit of it-conversation and wine by the fire pit with outdoor blankets provided, meals on the patio, yoga on the lower deck with the sun, breeze and sounds of the river. The train was a fun add, it comes often. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need, the beds are comfy and the fireplaces are a nice touch. They even had one of our favorite domino games! The cherry on top was the connection to the guys at Lincoln Hills Fly Fishing. We spent the day on the river right across from the house with the most incredible guides who were amazing. 10/10 you won't find another place like this often. Book it and enjoy!!

This Riverfront Luxury cabin was everything we had hoped for and so much more. Pictures don’t do justice to how nice and clean this cabin is. Jed and Damaris have put so much thought and effort into making this cabin perfect for their guests. They even emailed us during our stay to make sure that everything was just right for us. We enjoyed sitting by the gas fire pit breathing the mountain air and taking in all of the beautiful scenery. Relaxing in the hot tub was just the ticket to enjoy the cool evenings as we listened to the river running just a few feet away. We also took advantage of some amazingly beautiful hikes within walking distance from the cabin. The cabin is very well stocked with about anything you might need and groceries and other goods are only a few miles away. Jed and Damaris are probably the best hosts we have ever encountered. It was obvious that they truly cared about us and wanted us to have the best time possible. We highly recommend this Luxury Cabin and we will definitely come back againJeff and Tammy Crites

What a perfect getaway in the mountains! I could sit and listen to the creek all day! The views were fantastic. The hike near the house was easy to access and we saw a Moose on the trail. The hammock and side yard were great for games and throwing sticks for our puppy. I loved all the lighting, especially in master bedroom. The house was so well organized- the labels and signs explaining things made it so effortless. A lot of thought went into how to make it easy for guests. The location was an easy drive to hikes or to grab a meal. I would love to come back for another stay! Pure relaxation. :)

Beautiful home overlooking the rushing creek, the views are spectacular up the riverbed. Large windows let in natural light on both levels. The kitchen and lighting systems are all high-tech, and everything is perfectly maintained.

Our stay at this cabin was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking views right out of the front windows—pictures just don’t do it justice. The location was perfect, nestled in a peaceful, private setting while still being conveniently close to both Nederland and Blackhawk. Whether we wanted to explore town or just relax in nature, it was the best of both worlds.The cabin itself was beautifully maintained and stocked with everything we needed. The amenities were top-notch, from the cozy living spaces to the well-equipped kitchen—cooking with their HexClad pans was such a fun experience! The attention to detail in the home made it feel warm and welcoming.The host was fantastic—super responsive, helpful, and truly went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. It’s rare to find a place that checks every box, but this cabin absolutely did. We can’t wait to come back!

House and location were great for our hiking trip. Each day we were there we saw a moose walking in the river below! Owners were very responsive and let us know in advance of any issues that we should be aware of. The kitchen may have been the best of any rental I have used in the past. We will try to make it an annual trip!

My wife and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary here. This place has all the amenities you could ever ask for and is clean, modern, comfortable and meticulously maintained. No stone left unturned. Great, private and convenient location in a river wilderness paradise. Unbelievable property management and house keeping. Above and beyond from all angles to exceed all expectations.

Though we had to leave early due to forecasted snowstorm, we truly enjoyed our time at this beautiful property. Everything was impeccable; it had everything necessary to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. Heated floors were a plus! The house is beautifully decorated, the modern interior paired with the touches of rustic and views of the majestic pines outside are breathtaking… Not to mention the soothing sound of the water flowing down the creek! We will definitely be back.

The home was beautiful. It was extremely clean. The kitchen was fully equipped. The hosts were very available and communicated frequently. They have a great house guide online that gave lots of instruction. Everything in the house was well labeled with instructions. I would certainly rent this place again.

One of the best properties we have ever stayed in! The home is beautiful, a perfect mix of rustic cabin on the outside and clean modern cabin on the inside, with wood accents mixed in.the location was incredible. Relatively easy to get to, but once you are there, it feels very secluded. Amazing views. The cabin was incredibly clean and had everything you needed and nothing you didn’t. We will be booking again for sure.

We could not have been happier with our stay. The cabin was gorgeous, the views were breathtaking, and the amenities were second to none. We didn’t want to leave!! Jed & Damaris were thoughtful and so responsive. The perfect hosts! We chose this beautiful setting to get married and celebrate our union. It was magical. We highly recommend staying at the best cabin in the mountains, overlooking South Boulder Creek.

Great location! Fabulous cabin with amazing view! Every detail is designed for comfort, visual and tactile pleasure! Modern and at the same time is suitable for nature! We learned from the painting on the wall about Carl Bork, the great Coloradan artist :) Thank you for your hospitality and the enjoyable time we had at your property!! Unforgettable!!

Everything was so well thought out, secluded and peaceful, we had an amazing stay. We stayed here with another couple that we have traveled with in the past. None of us could get over how amazing the cabin was. Down to the details, it has everything you need, the kitchen is stocked with all of the things. The master bedroom is unbelievable and to wake up to the amazing view is a great way to start your day. I would love to stay over a nice snowstorm! We also had perfect weather which made the views more amazing. I can't say enough about this place! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

We enjoyed every bit of it-conversation and wine by the fire pit with outdoor blankets provided, meals on the patio, yoga on the lower deck with the sun, breeze and sounds of the river. The train was a fun add, it comes often. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need, the beds are comfy and the fireplaces are a nice touch. They even had one of our favorite domino games! The cherry on top was the connection to the guys at Lincoln Hills Fly Fishing. We spent the day on the river right across from the house with the most incredible guides who were amazing. 10/10 you won't find another place like this often. Book it and enjoy!!
Adult couples staying for long weekend of relaxing and catching up with family we don't see often. The house is beyond the description and photos! It's outstanding with every detail thought out with full intention. My husband and I are artists and detail oriented so we notice when a property if done right, this home is exceptional. I don't even know where to start.if I could I'd give a 10 star rating! My family and I have been traveling for the holidays and every year we visit a different city; never wanting to revisit anywhere until now. If you are looking for a secluded, cozy, and scenic cabin this is the one! The views are AMAZING no matter where you are at, you can catch a glimpse of nature. To wake up and be covered in snow all around, all from the comfort of the bed was breathtaking. Which brings me to the next thing The beds were comfortable. Kitchen is fully stocked with an ample kid dishware seasonings and essentials. We mostly enjoyed the views, the snow, the cabin was just lovely, nobody got homesick everything was perfect. Pictures can't do justice but what you see is exactly what you get and more. We highly recommend you visit Nederland and Eldora, we came across the nicest and cool people in the world. Our goal was to get away from the hustle and bustle of Dallas and relax and we sure did along with plenty of laughs, joyful moments, warm hearts, and plenty of delicious home meals! We miss the trains already.. and I may have to build a similar reading nook so that my son can have a home away from Gilpin.. Last but certainly not least, a huge THANK YOU to Jed, Damaris & Beya who were more than helpful and accommodating from the minute we booked till the moment we were back home! BLESSINGS

One of the best properties we have ever stayed in! The home is beautiful, a perfect mix of rustic cabin on the outside and clean modern cabin on the inside, with wood accents mixed in.the location was incredible. Relatively easy to get to, but once you are there, it feels very secluded. Amazing views. The cabin was incredibly clean and had everything you needed and nothing you didn’t. We will be booking again for sure.

This is a gorgeous property that lends itself to peace and relaxation. The site and sounds of the bordering flowing creek is the punctuation mark to the stay. The hosts are easy to communicate with and touch base at the perfect level to see if anything is needed, assuring a perfect stay.

My husband and I love this cabin. This was our second vacation here. We love the location and its beautiful surroundings. We enjoy hiking the trails just outside the cabin. We feel really comfortable at this cabin. It really has everything. If you forgot something, don’t worry, they have it. The kitchen is very well stocked and we cooked a lot. The website they provide is very helpful with local restaurants, things to do. It explains everything inside the cabin and how everything works. We especially liked how everything was labeled which made it super easy. The cabin is cozy. The back patio/balcony is also incredible. And the views!! Wow! We felt completely safe here. The hosts were very kind and reached out to make sure we were happy. Very thoughtful! We will be back, again :)

My wife and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary here. This place has all the amenities you could ever ask for and is clean, modern, comfortable and meticulously maintained. No stone left unturned. Great, private and convenient location in a river wilderness paradise. Unbelievable property management and house keeping. Above and beyond from all angles to exceed all expectations.

My sister & I adored this cabin! It had everything we needed--2 good tv areas for me & and good kitchen for my sister. Even more impressive were the steam shower, the heated floors, and beautiful hand crated gas fire pit on the upper deck. The cabin was spotless which is impressive given it's located in wilderness. The constant sound of the river and the occasional sound of the trains were both peaceful. I also liked watching the fly fishermen (many of whom had no clue what they were doing which amused me as a former fisherman myself). The last bit of road to the house is dirt and bumpy, so a 4WD helps. And the metal staircase going from the parking area to the entrance was difficult to navigate with luggage--the wheels get stuck in the metal grating. But the staircase will come in handy when it snows. The hosts could not have been more friendly or helpful. They replied quickly to any questions or concerns we had. My sister & I are already planning another stay at this peaceful cabin in the woods.

This Riverfront Luxury cabin was everything we had hoped for and so much more. Pictures don’t do justice to how nice and clean this cabin is. Jed and Damaris have put so much thought and effort into making this cabin perfect for their guests. They even emailed us during our stay to make sure that everything was just right for us. We enjoyed sitting by the gas fire pit breathing the mountain air and taking in all of the beautiful scenery. Relaxing in the hot tub was just the ticket to enjoy the cool evenings as we listened to the river running just a few feet away. We also took advantage of some amazingly beautiful hikes within walking distance from the cabin. The cabin is very well stocked with about anything you might need and groceries and other goods are only a few miles away. Jed and Damaris are probably the best hosts we have ever encountered. Our stay at this cabin was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking views right out of the front windows—pictures just don’t do it justice. The location was perfect, nestled in a peaceful, private setting while still being conveniently close to both Nederland and Blackhawk. Whether we wanted to explore town or just relax in nature, it was the best of both worlds.The cabin itself was beautifully maintained and stocked with everything we needed. House and location were great for our hiking trip. Each day we were there we saw a moose walking in the river below! Owners were very responsive and let us know in advance of any issues that we should be aware of. The kitchen may have been the best of any rental I have used in the past. We will try to make it an annual trip!

What a perfect getaway in the mountains! I could sit and listen to the creek all day! The views were fantastic. The hike near the house was easy to access and we saw a Moose on the trail. The hammock and side yard were great for games and throwing sticks for our puppy. I loved all the lighting, especially in master bedroom. The house was so well organized- the labels and signs explaining things made it so effortless. A lot of thought went into how to make it easy for guests. The location was an easy drive to hikes or to grab a meal. I would love to come back for another stay! Pure relaxation. :)

The attention to detail in the home made it feel warm and welcoming.The host was fantastic—super responsive, helpful, and truly went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. It’s rare to find a place that checks every box, but this cabin absolutely did. We can’t wait to come back!

Our 10-day getaway was made all the better as we opened the doors to this magnificent cabin. Perfect in every way, especially the sound of the mountain stream and the occasional train that passes by. Highly recommend this place for a quiet get away. Hiking trails were private and quiet—easy way to disconnect. Highly recommended!!

What a wonderful property! The cabin is luxurious and comfortable. The setting is beautiful.Communication with the host is great. This was our third stay and we hope to return soon!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and had responsive feedback from the host. The appliances and decor are modern, but the atmosphere feels like old time peacefulness and serenity. Passenger trains, eagles, fishermen, trout, pine trees, mountain sides, and crisp mountain air all present and accounted for!

The place was immaculate and communication was great! We can’t wait to come back! Great views, peaceful and private location, all the amenities we could need.You MUST screenshot/download guestbook details because there is basically no cell service. I would recommend the owners include a book or physical copy of the house FAQ/guestbook because everything we needed required Internet access which took some troubleshooting when we arrived - luckily I had one bar of service, otherwise we would have had a hard time.
