Centralt beläget i Forks, WA - Hem till Twilight, världsklass fiske och vandring

Property was clean and spacious. The code given to us didn't work when we tried to enter the property, but we were able to reach the host right away and got that taken care of within minutes. (No big deal). The property (at least the unit we were in) is not for short people -- especially anyone, for example, recovering from an ankle injury. The bed is very high and the bathtub/shower is especially high to step into. (Recommend that in the future the hosts provide a bath mat). We found the property to be somewhat expensive for what one gets (certainly compared to our stay earlier in week at/near Port Angeles). I don't expect the places I stay in to be art museums, but a little more decoration, paintings, etc., would have been nice (but please nothing vampire-related for the bedroom -- understand that is what the TV show Twilight was all about). Some reviewers made comments about the location. We liked Forks. People we met were friendly, enjoyed good food at Fast Burrito, and, of course, check out the nice timber museum.

Fine place to stay in the tiny town of Forks. Short drive out to Olympic and Hoh. Quiet and clean, simple and understated. The listing had mentioned washer/dryer, but it is not in the rental directly. After a little back and forth, they were able to honor the listing with access to the on-site washer/dryer room.

The apartment was warm, clean and cozy! Which was exactly what we needed after a full day of Steelhead fishing in the constant rain! The kitchen was a little short on utensils (two coffee cups, one chipped and crazed... but that's a little like me, so it seemed almost appropriate : )There was also a little snafu with the oven which apparently was new and still on "demo mode" but the host was quick to respond with trouble shooting suggestions. All in all, it was the perfect location for our fishing expedition and within walking distance of main street shopping and dining. Would definitely recommend and would go back again.

Property was as advertised. Host didn't send check-in instructions, couldn't reach by phone, and had to reach through Vrbo support.
