Detached house with private pool, 20 km Pisa & 38 form sea. Quiet area

A wonderful house, up in the hills, very calm and quiet, in the mids of nature. The furniture, especially the beds, are quiet old and are squeaking at each little movement. But the style is very nice. Wonderful terrace among green vegetated roof, love to sit there and eat! Unfortunately we had massive problems with the pool: the water wasn't set up at the correct chlorine and ph value, so that everyone of us, espacially the kids got all skin issues (flushes, pustules, pain!, burning, open wounds!....). The owner put some stuff to elevate the ph value, which helped a little, but not in total: and the worries and anxiety of the kids to go in there swimming stayed the whole week, and damaged the holiday feeling a lot, as the pool is the most important thing to have, when it's almost 39 degrees hot.... We stayed in a lot if italien houses and villas so far and never experienced something like this. Pity....

The house is beautiful and original. The host is very nice and always available for questions. Beautiful location on top of the village. Therefore you need to act with the longer way , but it's worth it. We've been 2 families, the kids enjoyed the perfect pool.
