Versteckte Acadia - In der Nähe von Ocean & Bass Harbor Light

Great location that provides easy access to South West Harbor. Most trail heads are within 35-40 minutes. Host provides a helpful guide shortly after booking. Apartment is located on the second floor with stair access only. This was not a problem for my husband and I but would be challenging for those that are less mobile or for families with young children. We were without water the first day of our stay but this issue was resolved by early evening. Be sure to read the rules before booking!

The apartment was clean & provided plenty of room for our family of 5 dog to spread out. The outdoor picnic area was nice to relax in the afternoon/evenings after hiking Acadia, & the grill was convenient (we only used once). Only nitpick was related to the garbage which required a brief hike up the hill to dispose in the dumpster - which I wouldn't mind except the lack of garbage bags provided & no garbage disposal in the sink.Mike the owner was very hospitable, & at the end gave us a sample of home-grown honey his son harvested.All in all it was a great retreat for our family!

Great quiet place with beautiful landscaping. Watching the deer eat the apples of the tree was a great way to start each day!

Property is new construction and very nicely laid out. Location is set back from the road so there is prettymcuh no noise from cars. My son and I had a great time walking through the woods on the property. Mike, the owner, was very communicative and had no issues with our requests
