Hole is bathroom sink. Trash in pool area. No parking lot lighting. There are better hotels in the area that at least has a lighted parking lot for parking work vehicles. Says no smoking but the 2nd floor smelt like weed. Elevator was broke. This was the worst place hotels.com has ever provided for me.

Expected it to have a pool the pool was filthy expectation at the front desk was awesome housekeeping was awesome. Just didn’t have breakfast as the thing said it doesn’t have a pool like the ad said so I was disappointed in those two services. it was false advertisement. It said it had condimental breakfast didn’t have it said it had a pool and it didn’t pool is there but it’s not clean so I would not recommend the hotel for family the accommodations not what I expected for a nice hotel.

I was unable to stay at this hotel for this reservation due to their keycard system was down and they were unable to get into the rooms. I was also informed that someone was trapped in their room and unable to get out! Was told I would receive a refund by the hotel and now over a week later am still fighting for said refund! Never staying here again. I have stayed at this hotel previously and had no complaints however this was ridiculous!

The pool green, the key to my door never worked, there is no breakfast in the morning even tho there is a breakfast area, noise all night long on the weekend, microwave didnt work in my room, ac didnt blow cold at all i was sweating. Just to name a few problems i had. Ive been there before. It didnt used to be like this. All the problems i had o couldve gor some money back. O yea. I didnt get my deposit back. Never going back

First i reseved a suite wirh hottub. When i checked in she charged me full price for 2 nights. I didnt get the room i paid for because she said all the hotubs were out of order. To whom it may concern: I was a "guest" at your Howard Johnson's in Houma on Fri and Sat evening this week. Feb 28- Mar 1 To say this was a sheer and utter debacle is putting it mildly. I arrive and have to argue with the front desk as the amount I booked on Hotels.com was $65 a night, and she was trying to charge me $180 a night. Aside from the terrible stench in the elevator and my room, the TV also wasn't working. However, I was not given a key to enter my room because the keys didn't work. I had to come to the front desk and ask for my room to be opened everytime I wanted to enter my room. All of this enough to demand a refund, but it gets even better. Fast forward to Saturday. I depart for my event at 6:30 am and return around 3 o'clock...exhausted, needing a shower, and in desperate need of sleep. Now on Saturday, they can't get in any of the rooms AT ALL!!!! All of my stuff for my evening event is STILL IN MY ROOM WHICH I CANNOT GET INTO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't book another room because I need the crap out of MY ROOM!! Now, I'm sitting in the lobby, missing my award dinner, because I can't access my room!! I expect a FULL REFUND OF THIS CLUSTER!!! I also expect a call confirming that this will be done AT ONCE. I am copying my attorney on this email as I will 100% make a civil claim for failure to deliver and will then seek punitive damages on top of actual damages incurred. I'm awaiting your call

Absolutely horrible experience! We checked in the room was full of mold. The hotel smells horrible. Nightmare from hell hotel! We walked in the room and back out told the lady at the front desk that we would not be staying and they refused any type of refund because we had already “checked in”!

Everything was great. Staff was very nice and accommodating. I thought breakfast ended at 10 so I went down at 915 to find out breakfast ended at 9. So maybe a later breakfast but I understand if that’s policy. I will adjust for next stay. The only issue I had was the room didn’t have a lot of light. They had lamps but not all of the lamps had bulbs. So I ended up moving the bulbs to the lamps we needed throughout the night. So if they can be mindful of the lighting that would be wonderful.

Facilities were poorly lit upon arrival in the evening. Bed was very hard and linens felt like thin sand paper. They had throw pillows for bed pillows. Breakfast was a sad affair, fortunately waffle griddle was there with batter available. Asked the owner for a late checkout and she wanted me to pay an additional $50 on top of the already overpriced one night room rate.

My room was clean and comfortable. I greatly appreciate the elevator and luggage carts that were provided! Many budget hotels do not have either one of these.That is one of the main reasons that I do not book at hotels where the doors open to a hallway. My suitcase has wheels, but not my ice chest or other items. Without a luggage cart, I would have to make multiple trips to carry my items from my car through the parking lot, lobby, and down a long hallway to my room. The free breakfast was very basic but good - just juice, milk, dry cereal, and waffles (no fruit, bread, pastries, yogurt, or instant oatmeal). Thanks for having a low peephole on the room door. Since there is no window by the door, I appreciate having a peephole and one that is low enough for short people like myself to be able to use.

I thought the staff was very kind. The property was centrally located and on a quiet road. There was a fridge and microwave which was nice. The facility and rooms need some serious cleaning/maintaining. My room was not very clean, especially on the floor.

This hotel is not a great place to stay. The lighting is so dark that you cant see anything. We had no fridge, no microwave and no coffee maker. When we told the person at the desk, she asked why we didnt tell them. I reaponded that every time we askes about something, the person behind the desk didn't know anything and didnt know how to adjust the price back to the booking price. It worked in a pinch but dont expect anything else besides that.

Loved our room! It was huge and very clean. The jetted tub was awesome! For a one night stay, i have no complaints. Staff were lovely to communicate with. Would stay again.

The room was okay. I was told it would take 15 business day to get the damage deposit back. It is now 23 business day and no deposit returned. I called the hotel and was told to send an email. I've sent 2 emails with no response. If they are not going to refund the damage deposit, they need to state it is a nonrefundable damage deposit.

Carpet had wet spots about a square foot that smelled like a horrible carpet cleaner. Smell was irritating to eyes and nose. There wasn't anyone staffing the front desk at times, waiting for 15 minutes. They said they were understaffed in housekeeping. I never received my $50 deposit back either.

The front desk staff gave someone a key to my room because they said they knew me at 3:30am. I woke up to a stranger opening my door and screaming in my room. Luckily they left and shut the door once I woke up and screamed for them to get out. Turns out they were a drunk person looking for their friend but WHY would the desk give out a key just based on their word. I am traumatized!!!!

The property (building exterior and parking lot) was run down, unkept and nothing like the pictures. The lobby had a chemical smell, trash on the floor and an unprofessional receptionist. My room was reserved and paid for several days in advance,but when we arrived for check-in i was informed that there was no available rooms and would be issued a refund. I was forced to find another hotel, thankfully there are several well kept, clean and friendly hotels within just a few miles.

I've been using this hotel for a number of years for my annual bayou fishing trips. The place has sunk to definite lows. First of all I took an earlier flight and arrived 6 hours before the 14:00 check in time. The hotel was not full and my room was empty, "cleaned", and ready for occupancy. However the manager would not allow me to check in unless I paid a full day extra charge. I asked for an additional hour late check out and the owner was called but he refused unless I paid an extra fee, even though I had already paid entire extra day to check in early. I was not the only one to have a charging dispute. A group of construction workers who had been in the hotel for 4 weeks also got ripped off for extra charges. They argued for over an hour over the additional charges but the hotel owner would not back down. Also my room had a funky smell and the carpet was sticky in spots and soggy in others. This place has become a rip off and should be avoided at all costs. It never used to be this way.

Property has a history of stealing deposits. This property lied and said my reservation was canceled that I booked through Expedia and claimed they couldn’t pull it up. Expedia then called them and was able to “help” them find it. Once Expedia got off of the phone the owner was called and he then said that my reservation had been canceled to they needed to charge me again. Then recommended that I call Expedia if they charged me again which I had already told them that they did. I then called Expedia to being the refund process of the duplicate charge for the room . They reached out to this property and they lied to the agent and said they had only charged me the deposit of 50.00. I then sent over my back transactions that showed each charge and how much they were to Expedia. I then called the property and demanded I speak to the manager. She was in the back ground yelling that she was not coming to the phone because she doesn’t want to talk and that she doesn’t give a f**k about what I do about it. She then finally came to the phone yelling at me through the phone and told me she wasn’t doing anything to help me and hung up in my face . This was a poor example of management and customer service . Prior to this happening while I was waiting in line to be checked in she forced her staff to have a friend of hers who stays at the hotel often to get helped first over me and told them that I could move to the side while they assisted him first. Hole is bathroom sink. Trash in pool area. No parking lot lighting. There are better hotels in the area that at least has a lighted parking lot for parking work vehicles. Says no smoking but the 2nd floor smelt like weed. Elevator was broke. This was the worst place hotels.com has ever provided for me.

They didn't have my reservation. The place was dirty and there were people in the lobby yelling about the fact that the air conditioning didn't work. The area was unsafe and we were approached in the parking lot by shady people looking for a ride. The place looked nothing like the pictures advertised. Shockingly bad experience.

I thought the staff was very kind. The property was centrally located and on a quiet road. There was a fridge and microwave which was nice. The facility and rooms need some serious cleaning/maintaining. My room was not very clean, especially on the floor.

Everything was great. Staff was very nice and accommodating. I thought breakfast ended at 10 so I went down at 915 to find out breakfast ended at 9. So maybe a later breakfast but I understand if that’s policy. I will adjust for next stay. The only issue I had was the room didn’t have a lot of light. They had lamps but not all of the lamps had bulbs. So I ended up moving the bulbs to the lamps we needed throughout the night. So if they can be mindful of the lighting that would be wonderful.

My room was clean and comfortable. I greatly appreciate the elevator and luggage carts that were provided! Many budget hotels do not have either one of these.That is one of the main reasons that I do not book at hotels where the doors open to a hallway. My suitcase has wheels, but not my ice chest or other items. Without a luggage cart, I would have to make multiple trips to carry my items from my car through the parking lot, lobby, and down a long hallway to my room. The free breakfast was very basic but good - just juice, milk, dry cereal, and waffles (no fruit, bread, pastries, yogurt, or instant oatmeal). Thanks for having a low peephole on the room door. Since there is no window by the door, I appreciate having a peephole and one that is low enough for short people like myself to be able to use.

Expected it to have a pool the pool was filthy expectation at the front desk was awesome housekeeping was awesome. Just didn’t have breakfast as the thing said it doesn’t have a pool like the ad said so I was disappointed in those two services. it was false advertisement. It said it had condimental breakfast didn’t have it said it had a pool and it didn’t pool is there but it’s not clean so I would not recommend the hotel for family the accommodations not what I expected for a nice hotel.

Well I do have to say WINTER was extremely professional and helpful with an issue so for that I’m thankful!! The issue has not been resolved,I was charged an extra $37.47 on my credit card that apparently No one knows why…. That’s not my deposit that I have not problem with but that was at 10:35 and then at 1:18 the $37.37 was charged for NO REASON. The pool was green and unacceptable. Only one morning was there cereal and coffee was gone by 7. Just all together would Never recommend nor stay there again!! I will be contacting whoever I can to get my $37.47 back!! Believe me, I’ve tried and yet to get a single answer!!! Thank you Winter for your professionalism and help as much as you could.

I went and park at the general dollar store next door and call the hotel but i could not get through. The call would just hang up. So I call hotel.com and let them know my situation. They also try to call the hotel with no respond. The person whom I was working with was able to accommodate and moved us to another hotel. I thought everything was good until I got a charge from Howard Johnson. Im confused if they are still in business...
