Comfort Inn & Suites Clinton - Jackson West

This was not a good experience. They gave us a dirty room where the beds had been remade after someone without washing and there was food on the floor. We had to request a new room which was better but still not great. The front staff was helpful and pleasant but I would not stay here again.

We have stayed here frequently through the four years our son was in college there, and although it has not been fancy, it was clean, allowed us a pleasant stay, worked well for the price. I am not one to leave negative reviews, but this stay was different. Although the service and personnel were friendly and helpful, the property property has gone downhill with multiple evidences of disrepair - cracks/broken frames on pictures, worn places in headboards, scraped edges of cabinets, no glass in frames, we didn’t have the tray for the coffee maker that holds the coffee pouch, the ironing board was torn is multiple places, missing parts of the arrows on the elevator indicating the direction it is going, etc.

When my daughter arrived there were police and a chase going on at the property. Very sketchy area! She did not stay and turned around and drove back home

At the time of checking into the hotel immediately I noticed the overall up keep of the property has gone negligence. Once entering the facility there was a gentleman sitting on top the countertop, while the front desk clerk check me in. I was asked to pay $100 incidental fee and will be returned after check out. When going to the elevator it looked uncleaned and non maintenance. The carpet looked dirty throughout the hotel. When coming into the room I noticed a huge outdated ceiling fan, a uncleaned coffee maker and the television leaving against the wall. This property is poorly upkept
