Location is great, safe, walkable and convenient. It’s near beautiful shopping and dining venues. It’s in an upscale residential neighborhood so it’s quiet. Walking around in early summer with gentle breeze and sunny day is amazing. But the property definitely needs a refresh. The room carpet, and beddings are so worn out. The building stairs are rusty. The gym facility is in a poorly lit basement that has no natural ventilation. No towels provided, equipment worn out. The breakfast is inadequate by comparison to similar priced hotels. There is only cupped cereal, coffee, orange juice and pastry and bread packed in plastic. I had to use an earplug to sleep due to the noise of neighboring guests chatting outside of my room until the wee hours of the morning. Pool not operational. This hotel may be good for overnight only.

We wanted to find a pet-friendly place to stay and landed here because options were limited. We will not stay here again. Room had a perpetual dank odor. Carpeting looked dark and dingy. Room had mismatched light bulbs giving off florescent lighting and warm lighting. Bath towels were too small to call bath towels and couldn’t be more worn out and thin. One towel had a hole in it; another tore when I tried wrapping the towel around me after a shower. Free full breakfast was okay at best although by day 3 of our stay, the options dwindled down to barely nothing, making me think that they only replenish breakfast items 1-2 times a week versus daily. The most annoying aspect of our stay were the room keys. They never worked when we swiped to open the door. We had to ask for new room keys three times. The third time we asked for new room keys we were asked why and we told them that when we swiped the cards they didn’t work. Their answer: “Oh that happens sometimes with the cold or wet weather; the swiping mechanism stops working.” Really? Try upgrading your old rooms, doors, locks, and the entire place while you’re at it. The gym room was downstairs in the basement which was in complete darkness until you entered. No wipes to sanitize the machines. No water in the water cooler; they placed a phone in top of the hole where the water jug usually sits. Dumbbells, weight balls and bench equipment were all Amazon Basics. Treadmill worked but was worn and old looking.

The shower door would not remain closed; it considered to slide backwards. I told them the same day about this but they never repaired it during my 3 month stay. The exercise room was not accessible to either me or the desk clerk as the card key did not work. She said she would find someone to open it but never got back to me. I found out after my first night that you have to request to have your room made up, which no one told me of. The room was "old" but I was not disappointed by that as the rate is very inexpensive I was disappointed by the poor service.

Check in was quick and easy, the staff at the desk was very nice. Housekeeping ignored do not disturb signs outside our door every day. The floors were DISGUSTING. I wiped a towel on the floor and it was black. Won’t be staying again.

The rooms had bugs. the blankets had rips in them. The front desk didnt seem to take anything serious. Their "Breakfast" was a joke, something you can get at a gas station. More of a Low type of Hotel. would not recommend EVER TO ANYONE. Never stayed here, figured give it a try. Had some Hope for it to be a decent place, but unfortunately the reality was a nightmare

Nice hotel with shopping and restaurants within walking distance. Central area not far from highways. The room was clean and well stocked. They had a supply of toiletries that came in handy. Only issue was the room had a bad mildew smell. Had to keep ac on at a cold temp to keep smell from causing an asthma episode. All and all 4 out of 5.

I found it a bit disconcerting that staff came into my room before checkout even though I had the “do not disturb” sign on my door. It was not easily evident where The dog area was as I had a room in the back away from it. The floor in my room was a bit sticky and when I wiped it a bit with a towel, the towel was very dirty. The glass on the framed art prints on the wall are full of dried liquid spots. The room itself was very comfortable, just not very clean.

Thin walls. You can hear everything from the other rooms and also from outside. Noisy and squeaky bathroom doors that will wake you up if someone uses the bathroom during the night. Get rid of the carpet, it's a nest for dirtiness and we're not in the 80's anymore.

I was here in December during a trip to The Paramount, and I was just there again for the same type of trip. It was a decent stay with a couple minor things that could be better. The room I had this time was definitely better than last time, but there is room for minor improvements. One thing I encountered in both stays here is the curtains need to be propped because the heater/ac unit is directly below the curtains, and when it is working the curtains catch the air and the curtains don’t stay straight, making it so the air doesn’t go in to the room directly and also makes the curtains blow in the wind. I found a way to prop the curtains so it’s not too big of a problem.

Staff acted like they do not like their jobs and did not respond to calls to reception. TV did not work. Phone had a flashing red light that staff could not explain so I put the whole phone into the night table drawer so we could sleep. Room for shower and toilet is tiny and tile grout is dirty. Keys to entrance door only work if one pulls the door handle towards them which staff only explained after I complained. Staff failed to properly code one door key so again a return to the front desk.Coffee maker in room did not have brew basket and staff had no idea how I could get one sovthe coffee maker was useless. Exterior hallways had floors in need of painting and rugs in front of each room were dirty. Noise between rooms was easily heard so obviously poor insulation. Motel is located on a busy street so traffic noise is easily heard and disturbing. One pillow case had a hole in it. In sum, this is the worst place I have stayed and barely qualifies for 1 star. Plus it is very over priced for what you get which is very little.

Keys to entrance door only work if one pulls the door handle towards them which staff only explained after I complained. Staff failed to properly code one door key so again a return to the front desk.Coffee maker in room did not have brew basket and staff had no idea how I could get one sovthe coffee maker was useless. Exterior hallways had floors in need of painting and rugs in front of each room were dirty. Noise between rooms was easily heard so obviously poor insulation. Motel is located on a busy street so traffic noise is easily heard and disturbing. One pillow case had a hole in it. In sum, this is the worst place I have stayed and barely qualifies for 1 star. Plus it is very over priced for what you get which is very little.

the breakfast was good!We arrived to check in at 10pm. The guy at reception was not receptive, he seemed to be sleeping, he was only wearing socks, not very professional. I didn't have a hairdryer in the room, I called reception, after 35 minutes we waited, we had to go look for a hairdryer..

Staff was not friendly. Keys wasn’t working on the door #252 went to get staff she came but used her key, I thought she was supposed to use my key,again on the night shift the guy who was there was worst did not speak a word to us, even we told him about the key not working.He came and used his key, I think they knew the key wasn’t working.it was very inconvenient for us to get staff every so often. I was disappointed with the overall experience, apart from Joy and Erica the staff at the front desk were unhelpful and seemed unfriendly, unprofessional, not welcoming, they feel bored by my questions and didn’t want to help. They always acted as if they were tired and I was bothering them with my questions , the manager was extremely rude, arrogant and lack management skills. He was unhelpful and uninterested in addressing my concerns about my invoices! My contactless hotel room door card/key was always faulty and the TV remote control never works properly leading me to always get out of the room to go at the front desk for help even at relaxation time with my child. The staff was never happy to get the card/key changed and they were acting as if it was my fault if the card was not working in the first place. There was also an African-American male staff that never smiled or want to answer any questions he was always grumpy, extremely nonchalant/sleepy and when I ask him about my invoice, he directed me back to the manager knowing that he could’ve simply helped me himself. They whole staff are not kids friendly as they always have a weird look directed to my son when he was walking around in the lobby area under my supervision of course! My hotel room was clean. Housekeeper was done every day, including weekends. Free breakfast was ok!

The recepcionist People was not willing to serve. Unfortunately every time I needed something from them, they were bothered . As well as the night, as well as the morning person. I was visiting my hometown for the first time without having access to my childhood home. I needed a place that wasn’t too expensive ( relatively) . While this is on a busy highway it was set back so it wasn’t noisy. A diner and other eateries are across the street.

The property exterior was in the process of being renovated, which was much needed. The renovations completed in the bathroom were sloppy. The bed was comfortable; and the bathroom lighting was very good. A definite plus having the fridge and microwave. The breakfast offerings were poor & limited. The regular coffee was tasteless. We left there hungry. The personnel at the reception desk were pleasant.

Hotel was fine….comfortable beds and AC worked well. After waking up and heading down for their breakfast, the Coffee Machine was inoperable and apparently had been for the week. There was no attempt to come up with a Plan B for coffee! Very disappointing!!!

Was happy that they came in and cleaned the room every day and changed the sheets. Receptionist was really friendly and explained all the policies. The staff were pleasant and helpful, the room was clean and mostly in good shape, so my "complaints" are minor. While the lobby area had been "refreshed" in the past 5 years (since the last time I stayed), the rooms are showing their age. I like that the carpet was replaced with LVF, but there's a gap between the floor and the bathroom, which is dangerous, and there were cracked tiles in the bathroom. But it was very clean. The bed was like sleeping on a giant marshmallow, which is not a good thing. It was also very high up. I asked the front desk if any rooms had lower beds and was told, regretfully, that they are all the same. I had to ask for a step stool to get in and out (seriously. And I'm 5'2", not too short). The desk clerk didn't bat an eye, which I assumed meant they get that request fairly often. But overall, it was a pleasant stay and I would go back.
