Wonderful Easter at Pine Lake Resort! It surpassed our expectations in every way. A clearly very well-run, maintained and cared for holiday resort on edge of the Lakes, just off the motorway. The only downside was the traffic noise from the adjacent A road and nearby motorway, but that did mean it was easily accessible with excellent transport links - there is even a bus stop just inside the entrance! We absolutely loved the lodge! Very modern, high-spec kitchen (quartz worktops!) and spotlessly clean. The beds were very comfortable and the main bedroom's bed was enormous! Any issues were sorted by the maintenance team almost immediately. We all also loved the family pool and the regular inflatable sessions. The staff were so attentive and friendly yet made sure no one overstayed their hour-long slot! (You have to book a one hour swimming session beforehand.) I also was impressed by the jacuzzi, steam room and sauna for no extra charge. The site was beautifully maintained with shrubs and lawns all looking stunning. I also loved the 'wild area' with its insect hotel and wildflowers. More of that near the lodges would be great! Overall, a fantastic stay and we will definitely be back!

Everything was lovely but it states there is a jacuzzi and swimming pool which you have to pre book and the sauna etc..is over the other park so be warned you need to book ahead and take a towel .

Only reason not 5 star was only realised when arrived the pool was closed. Granddaughter so disappointed that we had to find public swimming pool to take her too. Accommodation excellent lots of room for 4 though can have 6. Would definitely stay again.

Great weekend getaway; lots of indoor entertainment (arcade, gym, spa etc) so you can enjoy the day even if it’s raining; nice spacious room with very well equipped kitchen and lounge with table; outdoor activities are perfect for active people. Highly recommended.

It is such a beautiful and peaceful place. The lodge was very clean, spacious and well equipped. Walking along the lake is beautiful. There's lots of nice activities too so especially for children. We took a speed boat in the lake which was exciting. We enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi, the minigolf, playing ping pong and the arcade. The food in the restaurant was delicious too. We'll definitely be going again :)

Fantastic base for the lake district. Staff were all really friendly. Site was quiet. No being woken up at night or in the morning. Leisure facilities were decent for a small site. My child had fun in the hour fun session they have in the pool. Crazy golf, ping pong, tennis and a playground for younger kids. The watersports centre is resonably priced. One of my children did kayaking and another the sofa jet ski type thing lots of fun had. The restaurant was nice enough, standard pub food and very decent prices. The lodges themselves were modern and had everything you would need. Only negative was the hairdryer set on fire and nearly singed my hair but reception apologetic. Dining table had crumbs on when we arrived so cleaned down but other than that really impressed and would definitely consider returning.

The place was cosy and equipped with all the essentials at a modest standard. We were a bit disappointed not to have the full lake view. The staff were very friendly, though we were surprised that towels are only changed every four days for the price we paid.

The lodge was spacious for a family of 2+2. 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The kitchen is well equipped. There was no water sports since it is February. We enjoyed swimming at the pool and playing tennis and mini golf as a family. There are beautiful walks around the lake. Plenty of ducks and swans in the lake. However we found that floor in the lodge was sticky and not clean. One thing we noticed was, there was no tablet provided to wash clothes in the washing machine.

The cleanliness of the property was outstanding and so very comfortable . The handsoaps,dishwasher tabs,laundry sachets were all wonderful touches. Staff were extremely polite,friendly and very helpful. I will definitely recommend a stay here.

Both tvs not working radiator hanging off the wall. Very dirty cabin. Cobwebs and dead flies everywhere. Cigarette ash crumbs and rubbish on bathroom floor. No view except a rusty old camper van that hadn’t been moved for years.

I had a very disappointing experience during my stay. The coffee machine in the room was extremely dirty, and I had to request a replacement myself. The room cleanliness was also below acceptable standards I expected much higher standards, especially from a property managed by Hilton. Unfortunately, this stay fell short of my expectations, and I would not consider returning again.

Overall very good and very enjoyable, the only constructive criticism I would make is that the exterior need a jet wash as the decking and walls were full of cobwebs and spiders nest which put us off sitting outside (especially the girls)

I had the most wonderful 2-night stay at Pine Lake Resort, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and relaxed. The setting is absolutely breathtaking – the lake views are serene, and the grounds are beautifully maintained, creating the perfect escape from everyday life. My accommodation was spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully designed for comfort. The bed was so cozy, and I slept incredibly well both nights. I also appreciated the little details that made the stay extra special – from the warm hospitality of the staff to the amenities that made everything feel effortless. What stood out most was how peaceful and restorative the atmosphere was. Whether I was enjoying a walk by the lake, relaxing in the resort facilities, or simply sitting with a coffee and taking in the scenery, I felt completely recharged. The staff were friendly, attentive. Overall, Pine Lake Resort is a gem. My only regret is that they don’t allow pets. I’m already looking forward to arranging my next visit.

Overall the place was good. The views are beautiful and the best part. Everything you need is in the room (except oven) Rooms are slightly outdated but fine for couple nights. Beds are comfortable and few shops near by for food incase you need it. It has the leisure centre which is free access. Nice but slightly outdated.

Great stay, the lodge was spacious clean and well equipped. We used the on site restaurant once and it was ok, not brilliant. Facilities and the location to travel to the lakes and dales is excellent.

The cabins are a good size and have everything you need. The only disappointing part was that the cabin wasn’t on the lake but a row back, so it wasn’t as advertised. Be careful when booking if you want to be on the water

Super location. Cabin great. Very disappointed that the advert for the cabin showed it overlooking the lake. The staff informed us that no lake side cabins were available. It was not clear from the advert that the photos were not the actual cabin that we were paying for.

The Lake around the Lodge is superb and so peaceful. I liked the veranda with the table and chairs. It would’ve been nice if we actually had studio exactly by the lake how Expedia assured me I would have but when I arrived it wasn’t nothing available. The studio itself it was nice and spacious but some things around needs updating, for example the sofa it was with a lots pf stains like food. Overall was very nice and we enjoyed it and We liked the kitchen with all amenities but what I dislike is the TV that wasn’t actually a smart Tv how it was saying when I booked online. We loved the facilities,leisure’ and entertainment with games. Thank you

We go there almost every year, but this time, the lodge given is too compact for a family of 5, especially the toilet seats are very compact and uncomfortable. Was not aware there are different sizes of lodges.

Check in was a disaster , no staff . Just one who,didn’t care she had a queue to the door . We got two tea bags on arrival . Next morning I rang to,ask for some more tea bags , she said oh no we just give you two on arrival as a goody bag , you will have to come and buy some from our shop now ! Really ! They can’t afford to give you tea bags for your stay . Staff management even told my son off because I gave a genuine review on check in , good job she didn’t try telling me off ! Next morning I rang to,ask for some more tea bags , she said oh no we just give you two on arrival as a goody bag , you will have to come and buy some from our shop now ! Really ! We booked this in August and feel we got great value for money. The staff clearly take pride in customer service and make you feel welcome and valued. The setting itself is great for families with lots to do and particularly in the nice weather was great. The location is also great, a pinch point between Lancaster, the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales, plenty of places to visit. The restaurant itself was lovely with great food and drink and the spa facilities couldn’t be faulted with great adult only and family options. We stayed in a studio which would be fine for a couple but was slightly cramped with a baby, it wasn’t easy keeping her entertained in the smaller space and not having a separate room didn’t help at bed times, that is something we wouldn’t recommend for others, get a lodge instead. The only downside for us was that the room wasn’t cleaned at all during our stay Mon-Fri. Having a baby I felt this was a little below expectations and I even asked for the cleaner to hoover (they were cleaning the room next to us) but they said they couldn’t. Instead I had to hand sweep a carpet with a dustpan and brush in order to keep the floor clean for my baby to play and crawl. Obviously not relevant for everyone but I feel 4 nights I would expect at least 1 clean. We are already thinking of going back because of the service and facilities, but will likely look at a lodge/cabin rather than a studio.

The trip was made memorable because of our stay in pine lakes. It was a beautiful cottage. We stayed in 63, it was fully functional kitchen and well equipped place for a perfect get away. Loved every minute there. We had some issues with pipes but as soon as we let the management know, they sent someone and fixed it. They were always checking on us and made sure everything was comfortable. We had a perfect stay.

The place is beautiful and the rooms are nice. However, I didn't not like behaviour of one receptionist at front desk. I just asked whether is there any lake view room available. She started with rudely telling no we are full and then she started telling, we have members who pays a lot of money so we give them those room first, and you just booked the room 10 days before. No hot water for 2 days, communication absolutely shocking, messed around for the duration of the stay. We are in process of taking it further as it was not as advertised. The area is lovely and quiet. (This is the first negative review I’ve ever left and I’m well travelled! I can cope with issues I can’t cope with being messed around and lied to by staff with poor customer service).

Pine Lake resort is in a beautiful location with easy access to the motorway and A6. The reception staff are always friendly, polite and helpful. The studio accommodation is lovely which is spacious, clean and has great facilities. All the things you would need at home you'll find in your room. I've stayed at the Pine Lake resort several times before and is always at top of my list for somewhere to stay in the area. Definitely would recommend here.

We booked the Pines for 3 nights and we were both pleasantly surprised, it's a gem. The lodges are set around a tranquil lake and are easily accessible from the M6. The lodge was very clean and very well equipped, comfortable beds, quality bedding and towels and central heating. The staff were really friendly and informative. The bar area is relaxing and inviting, I cannot really comment on the quality of the food at the restaurant as the lodges are geared for self catering with extensive equipment, such as, a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, toaster, everything you need is provided...so we didn't eat in the restaurant but did notice the menu prices seemed expensive. Obviously been so close to major roads we expected some noise from traffic, but it was minimal and the lodges are double glazed. We really enjoyed our stay😊 I'd definitely recommend giving the Pines a visit.

The area at the lakeside is stunning where you can watch both wildlife and water sports. The studio lodge was very comfortable and well appointed with sitting area and small kitchen. Fantastic base for the lake district. Staff were all really friendly. Site was quiet. No being woken up at night or in the morning. Leisure facilities were decent for a small site. My child had fun in the hour fun session they have in the pool. Crazy golf, ping pong, tennis and a playground for younger kids. The watersports centre is resonably priced. One of my children did kayaking and another the sofa jet ski type thing lots of fun had. The restaurant was nice enough, standard pub food and very decent prices. The lodges themselves were modern and had everything you would need. Only negative was the hairdryer set on fire and nearly singed my hair but reception apologetic. Dining table had crumbs on when we arrived so cleaned down but other than that really impressed and would definitely consider returning.

Property location is very good. Restaurant opens only at 12pm no way to get any breakfast. Early morning gardeners are at working outside and making loud noise, cutting hedges and blowing all leave and making our car dirty.

Really nice cottage but that's about it, you have a beautiful lake views, but if you want to do anything else you need to pre book, arrived on monday was looking forward to do water sports, they're closed and had to pre book for the next day, if you want to use the pool you need to book, they will give you one hour slots. If you only staying couple days it might be worth to pre book everything when you do your check in. The cottage is nice, 2 bedrooms, sofa bed, it's really good.
