We enjoyed our stay and the breakfast was amazing. We were disappointed at the unexpected missing hot tub as there was one in the picture, however the pool was warmer. It was very quiet. We did not hear anyone else while we stayed.

Disappointed that the hot tub was removed. The staff was not very friendly. The breakfast was not good. The eggs rubbery and sausage was rubbery as well. Last year it was very good and tasted fresh. This year it felt like no one really cared.

February 17, 2024. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! NO POOL NO HOT TUB didn't find out until we were checked in. 1st room had a TV that only faced the bed room. 2nd room sounded like you were in a wind tunnel, fridge sounded like it was reving up to take off, there a dog across the hall that has been barking for the last 2 hours. The TV in this room is so dark and of course you can't adjust the brightness. February 18th, wake up call at 6:56 from the 2 barking dogs across the hall, again they barked until 8:38. The dispensers in the tub for body wash, shampoo and conditioner are empty. Turned on the tub and the water.was brown, let it run for 5 minutes. At.7:30 there was nothing left a the breakfast they offer. All I can.say is what a joke of a hotel, thank goodness it is only for 1 night. I also have travel insurance and will be filing a claim for inconvenience when I get home. This is no joke DO NOT STAY HERE unless you want to get disappointed.

The room smelling so bad of cigarettes covered up by an almost equally as bad smell of “perfume”, made it almost impossible to sleep. The pull-out couch was not comfortable even for a kid. Would not recommend this hotel at all.

Overall dated appearance, bed sheet had hair in it like someone had been in the bed. Carpeting was taped between bathroom and sink area. Definitely needs some upgrading. Front desk personnel were friendly. Price was good but now I know why.

This property is very dated and somewhat in disrepair. The room we stayed in had a door that was rubbing on the frame and hard to open and close. The light in the bathroom would go from light to dim on its own and the vent fan would not stay on. There were lots of cob webs between the window and screen. Additionally there was mold in the caulking around the tub and shower. The staff was indifferent about it and the general manager shrugged it off saying they are working on updating. I saw no evidence of any work being done. Some care and attention by the cleaning staff is much needed. The breakfast was ok but nothing special. I would not stay here again.

WARNING...After hundreds of hotel nights, I had never experienced theft of my belongings until the Residence Inn Appleton. Management was unsympathetic and unapologetic, with the only solution being..."we could have helped you scour the room in search of it." Hello! Cultural differences: Clerk would not make eye contact with me. Only addressed my husband. I stepped away. Spouse completed check-in. Check-in just before midnight. Noted numerous damages: missing fireplace pane, carpet damaged in numerous areas, holes in ceiling, a kitchen table wobbly and unsuitable for use, a BR door (punched/kicked), etc. Took photos, slept, took more photos. During the business hours, had desk clerk physically walk through. Said he would let mgmt and maintenance know. Day after chk-out rcd an email bank alert; card charged $250. 11 days tried to reconcile directly, six calls, five emails later, asked our financial institution for claims adjustment. Verbal explanation: chg for damage to the fireplace and burn marks to the carpet. No fire by us. Will not be held responsible. No inv provided. Req inv. Rcvd 1 wk later. Inv only stated “Damage”. We had time stamped photography and the clerk who did a physical walk through and still we never once were contacted by the manager. 1 week later $150 returned as credit, but they still claimed we owed for the fire damaged carpet. With photograph justification MainStay Mgmt would not budge on final $100 cr. 12 days reasoning? We then filed a claim with WF. No one should have to deal with this type of misconduct. Needless to say, they have lost our future business. What would have happened had we not taken photos or involved the MainStay clerk or we didn’t have a financial institution that backs us up? Buyer beware.

Room had quite a few flaws one being the lightbulb was never replaced on the bathroom so we had to shower and go to the bathroom in the dark. Heat was either super hot or cold air, wallpaper was peeling on bathroom. Just not up to par on what we were expecting. Even when out travel plans changed they wouldn't accommodate the change and charged us full price

I love staying here when we are going to events in the area. Feels like home when we get the two room suite. Will continue to book my stays there.

I love staying here when we are going to events in the area. Feels like home when we get the two room suite. Will continue to book my stays there.

Disappointed that the hot tub was removed. The staff was not very friendly. The breakfast was not good. The eggs rubbery and sausage was rubbery as well. Last year it was very good and tasted fresh. This year it felt like no one really cared.

We enjoyed the 2 bedroom suite, they are spacious with individual bathrooms and 3 TV, full kitchen. Breakfast was very good.

Room was clean and spacious, and kitchenette was perfect. Hot breakfast included waffles, scrambled eggs, sausages, yogurt, and breads. Staff was friendly. Hotel was quiet despite being full. Amazing value for the price paid.

February 17, 2024. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! NO POOL NO HOT TUB didn't find out until we were checked in. 1st room had a TV that only faced the bed room. 2nd room sounded like you were in a wind tunnel, fridge sounded like it was reving up to take off, there a dog across the hall that has been barking for the last 2 hours. The TV in this room is so dark and of course you can't adjust the brightness. February 18th, wake up call at 6:56 from the 2 barking dogs across the hall, again they barked until 8:38. The dispensers in the tub for body wash, shampoo and conditioner are empty. Turned on the tub and the water.was brown, let it run for 5 minutes. At.7:30 there was nothing left a the breakfast they offer. All I can.say is what a joke of a hotel, thank goodness it is only for 1 night. I also have travel insurance and will be filing a claim for inconvenience when I get home. This is no joke DO NOT STAY HERE unless you want to get disappointed.

The pool, was great! We’ve found a lot of hotel pools are freezing, this one was perfect. We weren’t sure if breakfast was included, but we didn’t partake. The mall, is right there. Great Chinese place like 7mins away. Staff was friendly and kind. Pool area, was loud but the littles loved it.

This hotel appears to be a rebrand of an old Residence Inn by Marriott, with room layouts that are great for their suite configurations. The staff were all very helpful and the location is excellent. It is close to major shopping, restaurants with easy access to the freeway. The room I was in would benefit greatly from an upgrade though.

Stayed here for three nights for a volleyball tournament. The space in the two bedroom suite was nice and the full kitchen allowed us to cook/ eat healthy. However, the entire building is in need of some major renovations. In our room alone, there were torn curtains, broken window panes, stained carpet and couch cushions, old/ moldy caulk in the bathroom. The owners were nice and explained that the property used to be owned by Marriott, but was in transition. I wouldn’t stay here again.

The rooms were fine—we enjoyed the 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms for our family of 5. There is plenty of space, and the kitchenette was nice (especially since their ice maker wasn’t working, but there were trays in the freezer). Breakfast was basic—so so waffles, sausage, and eggs. Basic exercise room (hand weights and 2 treadmills). Small pool—we didn’t use because the baseball team was in it. No hot tub. Nice outdoor cooking area. Cleanliness was questionable. The guy at the front desk was very friendly. He was the only staff member I saw in our 3 days of staying at the hotel. Just meh. 2.5 stars
