The check-in process was easy. During the check-in the staff mention they are going through a remodel. She let me know only one elevator worked, the light for the floor I was staying on didn’t work as well as the light to press the elevator to go up. Communication was great. I didn’t mind all the hiccups during the stay because the staff provided me with all the information I needed in the beginning. They served a wonderful breakfast & had free wi-fi! I will definitely stay here again in the future

The elevator was broken for two days. No help was offered on removing our luggage from fifth floor. I had to use nitro! No reduction or voucher was offered. The staff was great! Bless the workers that worked! NC had no one who could repair the problems! Doubtful! Shame on this chain

The included breakfast was very, very good. The staff super friendly. What we didn’t like was the fact the property is undergoing renovations and half the parking was missing, only one elevator worked and the walls were missing baseboards. The room was very nice. Properties should have to disclose it when they are under renovations or construction.

Great, free breakfast from 7-10 am. The staff who cooked the breakfast was very friendly. The room was spacious and comfortable. Pool was nice and clean. The only complaint I have is that they have a "bar" but dont offer alcohol or room service. When I sat down to order a drink, the woman gave me a dirty look and said "we dont serve alcohol here" in a judgmental tone. Despite there being wine glasses on the shelf behind her.

Our rental car was broken into along with others. The suspects were caught by the security from the hotel across the street and retaliated with gun fire. We didn't have peace of mind staying there. Also, the 6th floor is being worked on so there was a lot of hamer banging in the morning.

When I arrived, I was told that the original room that I booked was not available by the front desk. She was very rude. She tried to give a double queen room but it wouldn’t have been big enough for my husband and I. He’s 6’7 375 lbs….the gave me a handicap room which was very outdated. The room that i originally booked was more modern. The blanket was very dirty, I’ve never experienced something so dirty in my life.

When I arrived, I was told that the original room that I booked was not available by the front desk. She was very rude. She tried to give a double queen room but it wouldn’t have been big enough for my husband and I. He’s 6’7 375 lbs….the gave me a handicap room which was very outdated. The room that i originally booked was more modern. The blanket was very dirty, I’ve never experienced something so dirty in my life.

Property was just ok. Looks to be getting renovations soon. I rated it low due to waking up and pulling the covers back to see tons of mold growing inside the duvet cover. Very disgusting and will never stay here again.

Disaster from the first moment, I walked in. First noticed stains on the sheet so I pulled the sheet up and in the photo below, you can see the stains on the mattress. Also hear everywhere underneath the mattress cover. Total room was in shambles and can't believe this place is not close down.

I talked to the assistant manager before I left and explained that the room I wax in had a very bad bed bug problem and that is why theu probably had no comfortable blankets on the bed before I arrived. I ask him for a refund for the one night of stay and he said he would look into problem and let me know?

We arrived approximately at 2:30. Room wasn’t ready so we walked to a neighboring restaurant. Arrived back to hotel shortly before 4 to check in which went smoothly. Room was standard room, nothing fancy. Floors did have crumbs throughout so we kept shoes on when walking around. Left for concert and got back to room around 1am. While getting clothes ready for shower, I thought I dropped a sock and when picking it up realized it was a black surgical/latex glove. One elevator was out of order and one sounded like it had issues at times. Other than the cleanliness slightly lacking and the inconvenience of the elevator situation our stay was short and hotel location was convenient.

We understood the hotel was under renovation and had no problem with that. The room we were given was dirty. The shower had mildew amd.the tub wouldn't drain. The carpets were stained and had a poor repair job. The cushions on the sofa were stain and dirty. The air conditioner barely worked and did not cool the room. The nastiest part was the roach that came out when my kids were eating.

My boyfriend and I stayed in one of the renovated Standard King Rooms and it was a decent room for our weekend trip to Charlotte we took recently. Room & bathroom was clean and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was ok. Nice perk if we wanted to eat something in the morning and not spend extra money on that. Some cons are that the lights are pretty dim and make the overall room seem darker, TV is not a smart TV where you can login to Netflix or Hulu. It only has local channels. We had to bring our own Chrome stick to connect to the TV to do that (based on past reviews). If you stay here and wanna watch lots of TV, bring a roku or chrome stick or HDMI chord for your laptop. There aren’t any microwaves in the rooms (at least the one we were in)…there is a communal one in the hotel lobby. We didn’t experience any car break ins during our stay thankfully as we were concerned reading other reviews. Just make sure to not have anything valuable in your car or any stray objects/trash visible in your car and you should be fine. Overall great location in Charlotte off the highway near the airport, Carowinds, and whatever else we wanted to do in Charlotte and was sufficient for what we needed and the price we paid was decent for the stay.

Lovely hotel. Very clean, very friendly staff, wonderful breakfast. No carpet in room which I really liked! The only thing was the lay out of the bathroom. I had a King suite & the bathroom door was difficult to close because it was so close to the toilet. Had to position yourself in the walk-in shower to close the door. Definitely needs to be corrected. Sink was outside the bathroom. But other than the bathroom door, it was exceptional! They are remodeling so I’m not sure if this room still needs to be done. The room is very updated so I wonder if an error in measurements were made.

The room was great, but my only complaint was the wifi service, which was terrible, I was unable to connect to the wifi, and I was told didn't need a password to connect. Two different wifi came up neither one of them worked.

The staff was AMAZING, kind, caring, also communicated!! The front desk made checking in and checking out a very easy. The cleanliness of the hotel and room were amazing. Overall one of the best hotel I have stayed at and will definitely be staying again at!!

Staff was abrupt upon arrival and wouldn’t let anyone check in 1 min before 3pm. Which I understand but also a little ridiculous, there were approx 20 ppl waiting in the lobby to check in at 245pm-3pm and the receptionist told everyone we had to wait cause housekeeping was not done cleaning yet. We came back at 3:30pm and they still weren’t done yet. The AC in our room wouldn’t not get cooler the whole time and the hotel was under construction the whole time.

My boyfriend and I stayed in one of the renovated Standard King Rooms and it was a decent room for our weekend trip to Charlotte we took recently. Room & bathroom was clean and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was ok. Nice perk if we wanted to eat something in the morning and not spend extra money on that. Some cons are that the lights are pretty dim and make the overall room seem darker, TV is not a smart TV where you can login to Netflix or Hulu. It only has local channels. We had to bring our own Chrome stick to connect to the TV to do that (based on past reviews). If you stay here and wanna watch lots of TV, bring a roku or chrome stick or HDMI chord for your laptop. There aren’t any microwaves in the rooms (at least the one we were in)…there is a communal one in the hotel lobby. We didn’t experience any car break ins during our stay thankfully as we were concerned reading other reviews. Just make sure to not have anything valuable in your car or any stray objects/trash visible in your car and you should be fine. Overall great location in Charlotte off the highway near the airport, Carowinds, and whatever else we wanted to do in Charlotte and was sufficient for what we needed and the price we paid was decent for the stay.

A very convenient location, to the expressway's, Staff were extremely courteous, really made us feel welcomed. Breakfast way ok, the cut fruit bowl (pineapple/honeydew/cantelope) looked old.

Check in and check out were very easy, the wifi was usable, and the breakfast was actually very good with various proteins, sweets, dairy, and fruit options. The place was undergoing renovations when we were there including only one of the two elevators running; even with that and staying on the top floor we never had to wait too long. The people working here were super nice as well. I would stay here again.

When checking out the hotel on line it advertises a bar, restaurant and pool. It has no bar or restaurant and the pool was closed. Stayed 3 nights and not one time was our room cleaned.

I travel a lot so I've been to multiple hotels and I can honestly say that their breakfast was so fresh they were cooking it keeping it hot not like your other hotels for things sit they made things fresh so your morning breakfast was fresh Very high rating give it a 10

Clean, modern. Busy but quiet. Decent price. They overbooked my reserved room for double beds but luckily we didn't need that much space. They just gave us a king with pull out. Bed was comfy. Breakfast was mediocre. Despite my mixed feelings, I'd stay again if going to the park with the family.

Great, free breakfast from 7-10 am. The staff who cooked the breakfast was very friendly. The room was spacious and comfortable. Pool was nice and clean. The only complaint I have is that they have a "bar" but dont offer alcohol or room service. When I sat down to order a drink, the woman gave me a dirty look and said "we dont serve alcohol here" in a judgmental tone. Despite there being wine glasses on the shelf behind her.

Just an overnight visit as we were traveling. Super clean, beds were extremely comfortable. Perfect after driving for 12 hours in pouring rain! Breakfast was very nice and was replenished frequently.

The room didn’t smell fresh and the hallway had a bad scent. It was black ants in our room the bathroom was extremely small. The drink glasses were dirty. Check in time was 3:00pm but we had to wait a hour for our room.

Wouldn’t recommend this hotel. Only good thing was approximately to Carowinds & area restaurants. Waited several minutes upon arriving for someone to come to front desk just to check in. Trash all around all the outside trash cans. Only 1 working elevator. Huge ceiling leak right in bar/breakfast area. Pool closed even though it was still almost 90 degrees outside. Bed so soft/wore out it slumped in the middle. Couch & carpets had stains. Bathroom door kept getting stuck when you closed it. And “buffet” breakfast was the least to be desired. Didn’t even have waffles like most hotels.

This was my first stay at The Hyatt and was throughly impressed about the size of the room. The bathroom was extremely small and the vanity was on the outside of the bathroom which was a first for me. Overall, it was a good experience and I will be booking again.
