This hotel had the cheapest rate in Germantown -- so I knew it was probably going to be sketchy. The staff was freakishly nice and helpful. My room was ugly; but clean, cold, and very comfortable. And I felt very safe. So all and all not a bad experience. The building is old and the lobby looks tired and run down. The pool is "out of order" and they have just left it half full with nasty murky water. And the worst... the elevator was also "out of order" and I was on the third floor. Not a problem for me but many people were VERY MAD. So - yes it is kind of a dump - but if you are looking for a cheap rate, it is good enough.

The room itself, was ok, but was put on 3rd floor right at the stairway and heard the door open and slam close constantly. The elevator was not working. Also, the pool is a hazard. It is green and stagnant and a mosquito trap.

Pool needs attention. Floor in our room was sticky and the bathroom door scrapes on the floor. Hallway carpet needs to be cleaned and maintenance is needed everywhere. Choice hotels seem to lacking badly compared to what they used to be. Shame

We will never stay here again. We stayed on the 3rd floor and the floor is wavy and feels unsafe. The entire place was dirty. Like nasty dirty. Although we didn’t see bugs. It doesnt seem secure. Some people came from the parking lot to grab breakfast one morning and left. Random people were swimming with us and then just left out of the back door like they just live locally and use the pool as their personal pool. The pool room was never locked and doesn’t seem to have good ventilation. The bed sheets were stained. We had to change rooms because the shower in our first room would not drain and the floors were slippery and gross. The floor turned all of our socks Black. The front desk tried to make it right and gave us another room that was better but also not great. Overall great location but needs renovations!

We are normally RVers and don’t stay in a lot of hotels. Currently on a road trip and staying in hotels. This was the worst. Sticky floors, smelly hallways, dirty bathroom, not enough luggage carts (only one I ever saw), ice machine not working, indoor pool closed and looking awful. Very nice young lady checked us in. Nice young man serving in the breakfast area next AM. Nice help in a truly sorry and poorly run facility.

My room was terrible. Bathroom door that locks you In unless you use overly excessive force to pull open because of the damages of the room. Molded bathrooms and the whole entire room is infested with roaches. From room to the bathroom roaches are literally everywhere had to keep my bags in the car.

Main concern was their rooms were very dirty. Bathroom had some kind of mold on the ceiling; stains on the floor, hair on the toilet that wasn’t ours. Sheets had stains on them, pillows had stains on them; curtain was torn; splatter stain on the lamp shade. Floors had a film on them and we were greeted with a strong stench of cleaner, as if they just cleaned it and we checked in at 12:00 am. You get what you pay for.

There was a live roach in the bath tub and a hair in the corner of the bed upon arrival. I advised the lady at the desk and she just shook her head and said that they had sprayed a couple of days ago. That's it. Nothing else. There was a strong odor coming from a couple of the rooms and it enveloped the hall creating an uncomfortable and nauseating feeling when entering and existing the room. The location was great.

Room was disgusting, mold, floors sticky, our whole room was sinking in the middle the dresser was even leaning forward. Smelled awful, shower doesn’t drain. Worst place I have ever booked. Had to leave the conditions were so nasty.

We stayed here last week when our power went out. I was shocked when I noticed lots of brown dirty spots on the sheets and the tub was disgusting. The air conditioner also kept us awake all night because it was so noisy but it was definitely nice and cool. The elevator floor was also pretty nasty looking. The only saving grace was how kind and helpful the staff were. 0 out of 10 on cleanliness.

The area is beautiful! This hotel is a 0 - 1 star hotel. EXTREMELY DIRTY! The rooms & hotel is filthy, and smells TERRIBLE ! We had 3 nights booked and left after the 1st night. (We would have never stayed the 1st, except we didn’t arrive until after 1am. ~ Expedia did issue a credit for our remaining nights)

The lady at check in was very friendly and nice. The doorways are hard to get the carts thru. The room was dirty. There was hair in the tub, walls had gunk on them, and ceiling had spots. I spilt a little water in the floor between the beds. When I got a towel to clean up the water, the towel was very filthy after cleaning up.

First impression when you walk into the hotel/lobby is a weird odor coming from somewhere. Room was not impressive, walking barefoot on the floor had my feet black because the floor was so dirty. Kept finding random hairs throughout the room/bathroom. It was not a pleasant stay, will not be staying again and will not be recommending this hotel to anyone.

Room 222 door had such a gap we did not feel safe; floor near bed was so uneven we almost fell; commode tank so loose we thought it was going to fall over; king bed mattress was so bad we ended up sunk in the middle

Had to contact front desk to get a blanket, no blanket or the comforter on the bed, enough hot water for one shower, ran out of hot water at the end, room phone was non functional, the floor was peeling the vinyl layer of the LVP, was not able to power off AC to eliminate the noise, no toaster in the breakfast, dried up oatmeal pot!. Bed was very comfortable, Wifi had excellent speed, fridge and microwave worked fine.

I moved to 3 different rooms, first the toilet didn't flush, second the door did not open, and third the king bed mattress was deeply sunken in the middle. I stayed in that room because I was tired of moving.

Building has definitely seen a better decade. The center of the room we had (#326) was slopped to the center of the center of the room. It was a little concerning since you could feel the floor give a little when you walked.

Rooms are very dated . I had to request to be moved to a different room as the 1st room 227 was hot and muggy and had a strong odor. Was moved to 307 there was no shower curtain, a huge dip in the floor that caused the tv to lean forward as if it was going to fall over

I registered and paid for one more night of a 3 night stay. Housekeeping knocked on the door at check out time of my first stay informing me that it was check out time and I needed to leave. I got it worked out with management but it was very disturbing.

Very friendly & nice staff-loved Monica! Very helpful & pleasant. I lost ( & found it when I got home) a pink lock for a suitcase & the person on staff (manager?) offered to look for it & if found, said he'd mail it to me. Very sweet of him! Bed was very comfortable & room was clean & comfortable. Nice stay & visit for us! Thank you!

Customer service is everything to me. The check in/check out ladies were wonderful. Very welcoming after being on the road for 16 hours. To see a smiling face greeting me eased me nerves after wanting a shower and sleep.

Front desk receptionist asked for an additional $150 cash (no card) upon arrival. This is not in the policy and was not mentioned when I called prior to coming to ask the same receptionist about the room. I’m not sure if they are discriminating or asking certain people but this was told to us and a couple of people that were checking in ahead of us.

Where to start….hhmm. Stay away from this hotel. It started off bad with check in, and just got worse. Check in the guy was rude and made rude snotty comments about my son and being disruptive and destructive. First off my son wasn’t going anything wrong..he’s a 6 year old boy that has ADHD and Autism. I had to tell him to use his indoor voice once. But when people don’t know disabilities they say ignorant things. This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in ever!!!! From the BO smell to the dirty rooms, black mold all over the bathroom, bug traps hanging from the ceiling, burn holes in the king bed sheets, blood on the sheets of the pull out bed. Refused to get us extra blankets as needed. Had 4 people in room and 2 towels 2 wash clothes. Went to get more and would only give us 2 towels no extra wash clothes. Because of the black mold that I realized the next morning it affected my asthma, and my son is now sick from it. We checked out early and cut our trip short. Never again will I stay at this hotel when coming to Memphis

The owners updated the main room floor. The bathroom shower floor had rust on the floor and a wring was in the tub. The caulking was dirty in the bathroom. The window curtains were dirty and the mattress was not comfortable seemed old and worn. The pool walls needs to be cleaned makes the water look murky. The breakfast food was ok served biscuits that were hard as rocks and the gravy looked burnt. Food appeared to be reused for several days.

Staff was very friendly. I did find it a little odd that staff parked under the awning and so we couldn't easily park and unload there. I thought maybe it was just the day persons choice, but the night staff did it as well. It did make me a little concerned about my car. But we had no safety concerns. We picked this hotel because it's one of the better areas on Memphis. Breakfast was a joke. A couple of bread options, cereal, oatmeal packets, and yogurt in the mini fridge. There was also biscuits with sausage gravy, but no other regular options or fruit. The bed was broken down in the middle. We struggled a lot of the night to stay off of each other in the middle. I did give a high rating because we've stayed in several hotels in Memphis in this price range and this was the best one yet. Also, the indoor pool was open, all the others we've stayed at have been closed.
