For the price, the accomodation was great! It was in a nice area and easily accessible by public transport. The room itself was a bit outdated. The beds were a little uncomfortable and the sheets were quite thin (perfect for summer!) as well as the towels. Bathrooms were pretty standard. There was no one ever at the reception which is why I gave it 4 stars. I like having someone manning the hotel I am staying at, however, overall, pretty good stay! Would recommend for friend travelling together or even solo travellers.

When we arrived there was only 1 towel for us both. We called reception and they said towels were being washed. When we return 5 hours latter, still no towel. We called reception again and were told nobody was on site and we needed to ask in the morning. In the morning we asked staff serving breakfast and did receive 1 more towel. There was a limit of 1 towel per person per stay. Then we could have a shower. However, with no shower curtain, the floor got very wet. We did not wish to wipe up with our precious towels as we would need them again so floor was wet and dangerous, not to mention disgusting. We wish there was a shower curtain.

The staff was incredibly hard to find, they were never by the front desk. The reviews had stated that others had issues with bed bugs and mold in recent weeks, when I inquired about this I was greeted rather rudely at my room door with, “you have a problem?” It was close to the bus stop and walkable to the local area, but the beds were not comfortable, we had to ask for a had towel (which did not exist, we just got an extra bath towel) and we only got one very thin pillow. When we asked for another one the man taking care of the property said, “the pillows are thin and uncomfortable I know.” Like if you know how bad they are why not offer better ones or more than one. Also, I think just one person was working at a time, this meaning they were the ones cleaning the rooms as well, so their sandals were just in the hallway near the supply closet, it was honestly kind of gross. There was no air conditioning but the fan and window did the trick and we were never too hot, which was one of the only positives. The carpet was uneven and dirty, the hotel overall just kind of was unkept, dingy and would not recommend this to anyone. Booked through Expedia so I paid beforehand and had no way to receive a discount or refund.
