The Guest Lodge Gainesville

My family of four had the pleasure of staying here and I was pleasantly surprised. I wasn't expecting much at first because it's called a lodge, but this place exceeded my expectations. Everything was clean, cute, and very well maintained. The beds were comfortable, which is important. Water pressure in the shower was excellent- something that definitely matters when you are traveling! The staff was friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even better. They also offer a complimentary breakfast. It wasn't a huge spread but had everything you need to start your day- bagels, waffles, muffins and coffee. Be prepared to wait a few minutes because the breakfast is behind the desk where you are not allowed. The staff member will get you what you want. Overall, it was affordable, and enjoyable. If we ever travel back to Gainesville, we will stay here again, and I would recommend it to anyone visiting Gainesville.

Very clean and quite sufficient. Good bed. We were given the Ada accessible room which happened to be adjacent to the main road both of which were unfortunate. Also we did not see housekeeping until the day before we left ( 4 day stay) we were not fans of the limited and inaccessible breakfast but it would get you going for the day. One morning they had run out of coffee at 8:30am. For the most part it was a very pleasant place to stay at a very affordable price. Accommodated our VERY late arrival with grace- thank you John.

This is our 2nd stay. The only thing I don’t like is the breakfast is behind the counter and someone has to fix it for you.
