Staff was great, room clean, property clean and well kept. Road has quite a bite of traffic, but our room was quiet. Love the big rocking chairs in the smoking area, away from all rooms. Outside doors on all rooms, 2 story.

Check in was easy. John, at the desk, did let me know the property requires a $50 deposit even if you have prepaid the reservation. They hold it in case of damage to the room. My room had a Keurig coffee maker, iron, and ironing board in the room. Breakfast is danish, cereal, fruit, milk and coffee. You can get refill coffee pods at the desk anytkme. They also have a little store on site for other items to eat. There is a water bottle refill machine so you don't have to keep buying water at a store. There are plenty of eating restaurants near the motel. The outside pool has plenty of seats for guests. The property is along a busy street, but the noise is not too bad. My room faced the pool, so it buffered the sound. I would definitely stay here again.

I would pick this hotel over any of the big name hotels in the area over and over again. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The pool and pool area was clean. Our room was right by the pool, but it was still quiet in our room. 10 out of 10! Highly recommend!

Although the staff was very professional and we had no complaints with them whatsoever, the room itself was very disappointing. I don't expect much, but the floors were so sticky, we had to wear socks or shoes the whole time. White towels were not white, either severely stained or dirty. It has gone down a lot since our previous stay. We will not stay there again because of the dirty room, sadly the staff was great.

While this hotel is obviously several years old, I found it extremely clean and well maintained. The staff was excellent. This hotel is not the Hilton, but the cleanliness and staff is 5 stars. It’s right on the highway so there is traffic noise but I can adjust to that, my primary concern is cleanliness, staff and well maintained, and it gets 5 stars from me in each of those areas. I would definitely stay there again.

I stayed here in early July 2025 and had one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever encountered. At around 2:30 AM, I felt something crawling on my neck. I turned on the light and found a live bedbug. After thoroughly inspecting the bed, I discovered another one crawling near the pillow. I documented everything in photos and video. I immediately packed all my belongings and notified the front desk. The night staff provided bags and detergent but told me I would need to speak to the manager in the morning. When I did, I was assured I would hear back from ownership, but I never received a formal incident report or follow-up about covering the additional costs I incurred to clean all my clothes and treat my belongings. While my room charge was eventually refunded, I was left to deal with the stress, hassle, and extra expenses on my own. It is unacceptable to encounter bedbugs in any hotel room, and I would strongly recommend other travelers reconsider staying here. I have attached one of the photos documenting what I found.

I arrived at 2am. The night clerk informed me that he was running the reports and it would be at least 20 minutes before he could get my rooms. Then when I am being checked in, he lets me know that ALTHOUGH this is a pet friendly hotel, the only rooms he has left are non pet rooms, and they have to take a $100 deposit per room, and if they see any evidence of pets in the room, they will keep the $100 deposits. This is absolutely unacceptable that a hotel can advertise they are pet friendly, to the point where they have cans of purina one in their lobby for sale, and then tell me if there is so much as pet hair on the carpet, I will lose this money, all because they have designated rooms for pet owners, and somehow I am supposed to know they are booked to capacity and only have non pet rooms remaining. How is this MY FAULT? they advertise pet friendly and then put me in a room that is NOT a pet room, but smells like a wet dog upon entry. I had to have my husband deal with the guy because I was so frustrated. To top it off, when he handed us the room keys, he slipped my drivers license into the key packet, so I had to search around for that. I went back to the lobby and he swore he returned it to me. I finally went to the other room where my family was staying, and found it with the room keys. It is now after 3am, after I arrived at 2:15am, laying in a bed in a room that smells like a wet dog, that I surely will be charged for.

I could hear every little noise in the rooms adjacent and above me, such as the screaming toddler and the party that began around 1am on a Tuesday night. The toilet handle broke, causing the water to continuously run. When I asked for a new room, the staff member not only tried to dissuade me, he also questioned whether I was telling the truth about the broken toilet. When I was finally given a new room, the key card didn't work. I got little to no sleep and had a very important meeting the next day. I do not recommend this hotel.

The lady that checked us in was very kind and friendly. She noticed that I was having trouble from a knee replacement surgery and moved me to a handicap room so I could be more comfortable. That was much appreciated!! I will be staying there every time I’m in town. Thank you so much for the kindness and support shown to me.

Room was very clean and staff was amazing! The only thing we thought was odd was the fact that the desk clerk had to serve and heat up breakfast items. It took 10 minutes to check out because there were so many people in line to get breakfast

I will just say one thing about this property we enjoyed our state. It was very nice and accommodating. The owner we spoke to about his canoe full of flowers was very nice. I just have one thing to say, and that is simply because I am a diabetic and for breakfast I think they should have some thing that a diabetic can eat instead of just having muffins or bagels maybe some boiled eggs or yogurt Just a thought .

I remember this hotel from 40 yrs ago! They did a great upgrade to make it charming and more up to date. I love the tile walls in the bath tub, the "wipe your paws" rugs at the pet friendly rooms and the little pillow with a dog on it. It made us feel welcomed and not feeling like we were given the worst room because we had a pet. The outdoor sitting areas were quaint and inviting. Only 2 negatives were the sirens (being close to a fire station I think) and the continental breakfast was behind the service desk.

Very clean and neat, friendly service. Very good motel to stay in, very good experience. I was very disappointed at the breakfast. I was expecting a real breakfast and I had to choose if I wanted a bagel or a bagel, if I didn’t like bagels then I could have bagels with bagels or go get BREAKFAST at the Waffle House. If you want a good hotel without breakfast this is a good one but if you want a motel with breakfast, you’re going to be very disappointed.

I’ve never written a poor Hotels.com review before, but this experience warranted it. Staff was nice, but aside from that, the room was horrible. The shower would not drain and had what looked like mold and leaked water onto the floor, room decor was dated. The AC fan was extremely loud. Road noise outside sounded like an all-night drag race. Events occurred outside our room involving other guests that sealed the deal that I am not comfortable articulating here. Suffice it to say, we won’t be back. We even cut our vacation short due to this experience. It was the worst we’ve ever had.

I have stayed her 3 or 4 times. This is not The Ritz, but for the price it is an excellent place to stay. It is always clean and the staff is friendly. It is convenient to downtown shops and resturants and to Lake Lanier. I would definitely stay here again.
