Wonderful stay. Beautiful place. Was very glad there was the hammock beach. The water sport beach was tons of kids. Was kinda crowded and loud. Hammock beach was quiet and beautiful. Even had drink service. Everyone was very nice. Would come again. Incredible resort.

Baker's Cay was a lovely resort hotel with a good beach, free watersports equipment including SUPs and kayaks, and a good range of dining options. The communal areas were clean and well maintained. The room was good and the sofa bed for the children was of great quality. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming.

Water activities were amazing, in particular fishing in the pier. The outdoor area around the hotel is wonderful with cozy, calm beaches, trails, trees and shade. The pools were disappointing. Kind of small and hidden but mainly because it was all dirty with leaves and debris.

Everything you could want is here. Bikes, paddle boarding, kayaks included in the resort fee- along with corn hole, ping pong and pool. Swimming pools are small but the beach and water there is clear and calm. Good food. Friendly and responsive staff. Nice gym. Bring your own peloton shoes for the bike- no toe cages. If you want quiet- stay in the Hammock wing. The coconut wing is by the beach and tiki hut where the music and drinks are cranking. The Hammock wing is so incredibly peaceful. Yummy ice cream in the evenings and a solid coffee in the am

This resort is a Dream come true. Its the perfect size with so many things to do. I loved the beach options, everything is very private. We will definitely be back!!!!

It is a perfect resort with good facilities and services. We had a great time fishing on the dock and sun bathing on their beautiful beach. The breakfast is great though it is pricey.

Myself and 3 other moms stayed Mother's Day weekend and had a terrific time. The property is beautiful and well laid out. The lobby and lounge areas are comfortable and very pretty. The book shelf lounge area is the best spot. The beach area can get pretty crowded with families so we opted for the mangrove area which is very secluded and dotted with adirondack chairs and hammocks. We went to the pool area once and it has a separate adult pool and family pool which is nice. The bar area poolside is pretty good but all the food is carried over from the main restaurant so I would just opt to go there yourself. We ate in the more casual bar restaurant by the beach twice and the service and food was great. We drove south for shopping and restaurants and there are many options. I would absolutely stay again!

Check in was delayed. Once we finally got our rooms, one had a very strong smell of pee and the other had non existent water pressure in the bathroom and what looked to be finger prints all over the TV. High touch areas that should've been cleaned we're definitely not touched. We called for the front desk to have the cushions of the couch replaced They reaked of pee. Unfortunately even after removing them the room still had a strong smell of pee.the entire room seemed very beat up. The pullout couch was horrible. The mattress could not even hold my 4 year old. It looked like a Matt that had been beat up. It also creaked with every move he made. We stayed here a couple of years ago and loved it. I'm not sure what happened since then but the quality of this resort has drastically dropped. For the high nightly rate I expected so much more.will definitely not be coming back here. Rather stay at Playa largo next door.

I stayed at 3 hotels in the Keys and this was by far the best! Immaculate room and grounds, friendly staff & gorgeous views. Perfect location to watch sunsets. Liliana was very helpful with my check in.

The hotel had a great pool with a waterfall. Actually it was two pools, one for kids and one for adults. But that’s where it stops. We had to call management every day but one to have our room cleaned and bed made. I personally killed two roaches in two days! I personally like to unpack my clothes but there were no drawers to put anything away. We had a high end room, ocean front, balcony and king bed. I would recommend another place.

Liked that the property is right on the water.... DISLIKED the bedding... the comforter had ragged edges and looked old and tattered... the cleanliness of the room left much to be desired ... there was garbage under the sink clearly from a past guest...

The grounds are beautiful. Very family friendly with plenty to offer for entertainment. The room was disappointing. Dirty walls, broken handles and toilet seal loose and laying on the ground.

Hotel is absolutely beautiful and so is the service at all areas. Pool is good for kids and adults and the beach area is a huge plus, really clean and water was gorgeous. Unfortunately the room was definitely not worth the money though. We found food in the fridge that smelled really bad from the people before I (I’m guessing) which makes you question the cleanliness. The bed was very uncomfortable and it sounded like it was broken. The room next two us had some issue and the alarm kept going off the whole stay. We saw people in and out but nothing really fixed it. Definitely recommend for the day pass or maybe a room higher up but we won’t stay here again since there are so many options for the same or less price.

My family and I have been coming to Bakers cay for the last 4 years on several of occasions from birthdays to baby moons. This last time it may be the last visit we make until they update / deep clean their rooms. The activities for kids and resort grounds are so nice it’s so disappointing that there’s not the appropriate upkeep to the property. The rooms in particular, for the price, have many issues that were present in our last stay and have worsened such as: the AC units do not cool , the flooring is all scratched up (they are dog friendly which is fine but make sure you deep clean those rooms) mold in the shower crevices, dirty stained couch in room, cracked ceiling , peeling paint on furniture, far from perfect hotel bedding, just disappointing for such a beautiful property.

This is a carnival cruise- families, weddings, parties! The walls are paper thin and every step and whisper echos. Every door closing is a bomb going off so if you sleep light don’t stay here! Major warning. We had no sleep two days!

The property was beautiful and well maintained. The pools and beach were as well. Our room was clean and nicely appointed. The only challenge we had was our room was on the ground floor and there was quite a bit of traffic and noise in front of our room. If we stayed again I would request a room on a upper floor.

We paid for an Ocean Front room and we got a an tree view room,one night AC thermostat could not be brought down in temperature had to call front desk twioand they brought us a plastic fan that didn’t stand up correctly,it kept falling down,3 hours they were able to reset the AC,another room in our family vacation my daughter in law was bit by a spider in her bed and if that wasn’t bad enough her mother had a roch in her bed,thank god about the only room out of the 3 we had rented was my parents and they are a bit older so at least that wasn’t a mess

Beautiful property in a nice location with good amenities, but the rooms are a bit run down. The main building and lobby is very nice and looks remodeled with new furnishings but the rooms were a bit dumpy. Felt like a slightly elevated motel. You could hear every little sound feom the rooms next door. One of the restaurants was closed so left with just one choice for food on-site and it was only ok with polite, but very slow service.

My experience at Baker’s Cay was outstanding from start to finish. The room was very clean, well-prepared, and super comfortable. You can really tell they pay attention to every detail. The beach area was one of my favorite spots—beautiful, peaceful, and full of fun ways to enjoy the ocean and surroundings. What truly made this trip extra special was that I was able to bring my dog with me. The resort is genuinely pet-friendly, and it made me so happy to share this vacation with him. Both restaurants at the resort were spectacular, with delicious food and excellent service. Every meal was a treat. I highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking for relaxation, great dining, and a place where your pet is just as welcome as you are. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Was expecting a lot more from a Hilton Curio collection but I was disappointed with the rooms they were small and dated. Rooms definitely needs to be updated especially with how expensive they are

The grounds and staff were amazing. We were highly disappointed in the room, we were ground level in the Coconut wing. We heard every noise coming from each room next to us as well as all the movement from the folks the floor above us. You could hear everyone making their way past our room like the door was wide open. Not surprising as there was a huge gap under the door you could see the morning sun coming through. It was the most expensive area of the resort, our expectations reflected that and we were not happy. The main restaurant was also meh for dinner, again we were hopeful such a nice resort would have a killer main restaurant. The bar eats were top notch and we enjoyed eating there. The views from both were beautiful. All in all the resort is beautiful, pool area is great and the service is wonderful but again when paying top rate certain expectations should be met.

The views from both were beautiful. All in all the resort is beautiful, pool area is great and the service is wonderful but again when paying top rate certain expectations should be met.

The view from our room was spectacular and the comfort of the room was also very good. The service staff were also quite good, very friendly and attentive. The size of the bathroom was pretty small and the AC unit could maybe be serviced because the compressor unit was pretty loud when it kicked in.

Nice property, Hammock Beach was beautiful. Was looking forward to a relaxing stay-but the experience was marred by poor sound insulation. The walls were incredibly thin & the toddler crying for its mom made it impossible to rest. While I understand children cry & families travel, for the price per night, the noise issues were a major fail for the property.

Baker's Cay was a lovely resort hotel with a good beach, free watersports equipment including SUPs and kayaks, and a good range of dining options. The communal areas were clean and well maintained. The room was good and the sofa bed for the children was of great quality. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming.

-poor customer service, staff at the resort were not welcoming at all, starting from the valet service for our vehicle and checking in to our room at front desk. -we arrived at 3:45pm for our 4pm check in and were told our room wasn’t ready so they suggested we go to the beach or grab a bite to eat at one of the restaurants. we were actually exhausted from our travels and really wanted to freshen up before exploring the resort, so we waited in the lobby and they eventually checked us in late at 4:20pm. But this required us having to complain and stare front desk down. 😅 -i booked an ocean front room w/balcony which is $845 a night and they put us in a room with an obstructed view. There was a huge tree blocking the view of the ocean, I had to complain at the front desk again and was reassigned to another room with a better view of the ocean. No apologies from front desk. -once in the new hotel room, I realized that the floors were still covered with residue from their cleaning solution that hadn’t fully dried yet. It sort of had a chemical smell. -Lastly, there are bugs/critters in our room. None of this felt luxurious. This is probably the worst experience I have had at a resort. Price didn’t match the experience. Please consider other resorts at the keys before selecting bakers cay. You have been warned!

Booked this hotel for a quick getaway. With the exception of the woman at the front desk, the staff were all helpful and friendly. However do not be fooled, this resort is jam packed with children. The rooms have minimal sound proofing so you hear the screaming all day. The “adults only” pool is connected to the loud children’s pool. The beach is full of kids running and screaming. There is a weird system required to get towels for the beach and pool, which is odd for a 4 star hotel (gives motel vibes). Food at the restaurants was okay, but we opted to go off the property the second night which was a blessing. Bogus “resort fee” for things like towels and beach chairs - that price should just be included into the room rate. Overall after weighing the price and what we experienced - I would not stay again.

This is a beautiful resort. The beach is perfect. Our coconut wing room had an amazing view. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was spacious The tiki bar says it closes at sunset, but it closes at 6:30pm. Come on! And it opens at 11. Good luck if you want a morning mimosa or evening drink on the beach My main issue is check in. We visited her twice within a week. 3 days and then 2 days during a keys travel trip. Both times the room was delayed being ready. 4pm on the dot, and then, 5pm! 5pm….really???! The day is over. I paid over $500 a night for that? Oh, but be sure to check out by 11am. I normally don’t stay at these “higher end” hotels. I took a chance. All in all, I felt like it did not live up to the price I paid for the room. First and foremost, I arrived at 11 am, understandable that I arrived early for checkin, I was offered to pay an extra $100 for early check in. For the price I paid already, no thank you. I was then asked for preferable floor, I requested the third floor to then be told it wasn’t available but it worked out after the fact. I was told by 4 pm, I would receive a call or text when room was ready. I waited till 4, and had to go to the front to request. No one ever called. Ridiculous to pay that amount and only have the room for that time for no one to contact me. Very dissapointing! To then be put in a handicap room. Hearing impaired etc. I paid my hard eern money for this hotel and expected much much better. The restraint overlooking the water was great. The beach itself was great as well. Very disappointed with the hotel service and check in. Also my bags were taken to the wrong room and I had to go backdown because they were just put away instead of finding my room number through the hotel Website.

Double charged, bugs in the room and no one having a clue there. SAD...valet was excellent and the servers at Calusa very nice...aside from that..keep it..save your money and go to Cheeca Lodge

We recently stayed at Bakers Cay for a family trip with my wife and our 3-year-old. Amazing property in a good location for daytripping to other parts of the Keys, but it also has plenty to do on site so several days we didn’t feel any reason to leave. Multiple restaurants, free fishing in the morning, free kayaks/paddle boards, gorgeous beach, etc. Every single staff member we interacted with was super kind and pleasant to talk with. We would come back for sure! Pro tip: look for the green pineapple!!

Myself and 3 other moms stayed Mother's Day weekend and had a terrific time. The property is beautiful and well laid out. The lobby and lounge areas are comfortable and very pretty. The book shelf lounge area is the best spot. The beach area can get pretty crowded with families so we opted for the mangrove area which is very secluded and dotted with adirondack chairs and hammocks. We went to the pool area once and it has a separate adult pool and family pool which is nice. The bar area poolside is pretty good but all the food is carried over from the main restaurant so I would just opt to go there yourself. We ate in the more casual bar restaurant by the beach twice and the service and food was great. We drove south for shopping and restaurants and there are many options. I would absolutely stay again!

The main building and lobby is very nice and looks remodeled with new furnishings but the rooms were a bit dumpy. Felt like a slightly elevated motel. You could hear every little sound feom the rooms next door. One of the restaurants was closed so left with just one choice for food on-site and it was only ok with polite, but very slow service.

The resort was very nice. Every employee that we interracted with were wonderful. The restaurant was very pricey and both the appetizer and my dinner were overcooked. Almost $50 for 3 scallops and they were so overcooked that it was hard to chew them..same with the calamari.
