The beach front is by far the best part of the hotel. Plenty of shade on the beach. Free kayaks. There are three docks on the property which is a great place for sunset and stars. Room was great. Clean and beds very comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Location is close to restaurants and various store. Also close to key Largo community center (YMCA) which is great for liesurely walks. I highly recommend.

Hotel staff wasnt very friendly, wanted to charge us patking for some friends coming to visit us. We had a wedding planeed and needed to gather the bridal party for information, staff said we needed to pay $15 for each vehicel. There was plenty of parking available , only 2 vehicles carpooled as not to cover expensive rate for just parking .

Booked this last minute and boy did it turn out amazing. 20 second walk to the water, free kayaks, cute rooms. Beautiful old buildings that are well maintained, had a very south Florida vibe.

A fantastic hotel mainly because of the location. The beach front was wonderful with easy access to water. Plenty of shade and seats. The water was excellent to snorkel and we saw lots of fish. Other people at the girls were very friendly and staff friendly and helpful as well. Overall, the grounds were very good. It could use a touch of updating, but overall was fine. Beds comfortable, but a little small. It's very close to evening entertainment at Snooks, close to community center (YMCA) to walk dog or just go for a nice walk. Near nice restaurants and various stores. I give it a 9 out of 10. The water front is a 10 and hotel could use some updating. I definitely recommend and plan to stay here again.

This is the cutest little resort ever! We loved our stay and had the best time sitting outside and enjoying the beautiful sunset. The grounds are beautifully maintained, our little beach house was super clean, location was perfect. We all loved it.

Everything was clean, spotless. The guy on the office ensured I got to my cottage safely, as I had arrived after dark. A safe place to stay. Water access was so close. The housekeepers were so helpful. Will def be back!!

The cottage was in older condition and the inside was not very clean. With that said it was an enjoyable stay. They have there own small beach and plenty of areas to hang out and relax. It's close to the supermarket, restaurants and gas station.

The Pelican Cottages are in a nice location in Key Largo, close to Snooks Bayside restaurant and a breakfast cafe next door. Nice view of the water and free kayaks available (although we didn't use them). We selected the economy queen room, which was so tiny it was pretty much just the size of a bed. This was a great stopover for staying one night in the Keys, but only for a bed to sleep in.

Extremely nice and helpful staff. It’s an old motel but the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The window air conditioner is very noisy and it was a bit hard to sleep because of that. Fun to have kayaks as a benefit and nice that it’s right on the water with beautiful views from their docks.

Great sea front setting close to some reasonable bars and restaurants with music. However, the room that we had was run down with broken blinds and leaking bathroom with ac as loud as a jet engine so would be unbearable if running at night.

Private beach with swimming and fishing. 3 piers to fish from. Free kayaks available we wish we would have taken advantage of that. My 5 year old nephew literally stayed in the crystal clear water till just after 9 pm playing. A manatee swam probably 25 feet from him while he played at one point. The a/c was cold. Shower didn’t have a ton of pressure but that seems to be a norm at hotels and motels for us lately. Bed was comfy for the most part. I didn't wake up hurting so that’s good. Staff were friendly. People at the beach we encountered were very friendly. They are cute little duplex style motel stays. If we had anyone in the room next to us we never heard them. Each room has parking at their door best I could tell. I would stay again. If you are snooty or expecting fancy or resort style this probably isn’t for you. This is more of a laid back casual stay for someone who doesn’t mind the more basic or simple stays.

We stayed at Pelican for two nights passing through to Key West. The staff were extremely helpful and polite, not only in checking in but also checking out where they let us use the beach and communal fridge for a few hours after checking out. The room was clean and modern, with a great little covered veranda. The private beach and docks were fantastic for laying out, going for a swim, using the kayaks and watching the sunsets. Would definitely return.

The only thing I disliked was I had Room 201 which was directly behind the office. The street noise was horrible. The cabins farther down the driveway probably do not hear the noise. Otherwise it was wonderful.

Great location on the. Bay with docks & beach. Several restaurants within walking distance. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room I stay in was very small but a fair price and totally adequate for what I needed. I would stay here again.

Har svårt att förstå de positiva recensioner jag läste innan vi bokade. Mycket slitet boende - köket var nästan en katastrof. Inget porslin, bara några få plastglas och tallrikar. Mycket oljud från vägen utom längst ner på området. Dock var sängarna okej, och lilla strandområdet trevligt. Totalt sett och relation till pris var det ingen kul upplevelse tyvärr.

The hotel’s location is fantastic, right on the Gulf side with its own private beach, lounge chairs, and even a small pier. The sunsets were absolutely stunning, and waking up by the water was a real treat. Just a heads up: we booked the economy double room and it was really small; barely enough space for two people and luggage. Still, the outdoor areas more than made up for it.

Lovely and relaxed with free kayaks and stunning sunset views. We stayed here 10 years ago and we came back which didn't disappoint. Sharkys had great wings and fish dippers on happy hour and CCs pizza happy hour was amazing. Didnt bother with the restaurants next door as they were expensive. We saw a manatee and her calf at sunset down at the dock.
