Kan ikke anbefale maden, vi havde halvpension. Ingen ski og cykler. Ingen spa og sauna. Thyra grotten var under renovation. Kan kun tysk. Meget flot by og flot natur. Helt stille og roligt nærmest mennesketom

Das Hotel liegt in einem wunderhübschen Fachwerkstädtchen ziemlich am Ortseingang. Im Ort selbst gibt es (fast) keine Verkehrsschilder, was die Stadt zusätzlich aufwertet. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber, selbst ein schönes Fachwerkhaus, mit sehr freundlichem Empfang, ausgesprochen nettem Personal im Restaurant und einer guten Speisenauswahl.

Das Hotelzimmer war sehr ordentlich, das Nasszelle auf aktuellen Stand, die Matratze angenehm hart, d.h. nicht durchgelegen, wie ich es aus vielen anderen Hotels kenne. Stolberg selbst strahlt eine historische Aura aus und ist fotografisch ein Quell an Motiven.

Das Essen und Frühstück waren super, allerdings wirkte das Personal gestresst. Als wir bei der Ankunft nach der Sauna - und Whirlpoolmöglichkeit fragten war die Kommunikation diesbezüglich leider etwas unfreundlich.
