Elevator was in poor condition.

The elevator was broken and our room was on the 3rd floor

I liked everything about the room, the staff, the property, etc. The only thing I didn't like was ... the elevator was out of order the 2 weekends I stayed there. I was on the 2nd floor and it was a challenge carrying my luggage up snd down the stairs.

Everything about the staff, room, and property was fine. I was disappointed that the elevator was still out of order - as it was on June 28-July 1st when I last stayed here. It meant I had to carry my luggage and cooler up and down the stairs to and from the 2nd floor, which was challenging at age 72.

The elevator went out and needed repairs…

This is a decent no-frills motel, which is what one expects with Motel 6. It was clean and had the basics, but no extras like refrigerator or microwave. My room was quiet. The TV in my room didn't work and the staff couldn't fix it. I received a small discount on the room as it was late and I didn't want to change rooms. The elevator didn't work when I was checking out which meant multiple trips down the stairs.

Room was clean, bed comfortable, good parking, Elmer's next door. Elevator solid not work and I had to lug luggage up 3 flights of stairs.

The room and bath were terrific. Updated and clean. But the checkin was clunky’ with some ugly checkin “surprises”, such as requesting an “Accessible” room, as it most always provides ground floor room (senior here). First surprise was no ground floor room available, so I was put on the third floor. The hotel had an elevator. BUT not that night. “OUT OF ORDER”, Third floor walk up with a 35 pound bag. UGH! I schlepped the bag and other various things needed up to the third story, stopping to catch breath at every landing. I should point out that the very nice night clerk (it was 11pm) and I’d driven 11 hours from Canada to Southern OR, and was exhausted and road-weary. Anyway Elizabeth the checkin person did offer (after seeing my facial reaction to no elevator), to see if their neighbor Motel 6 , 30 more miles down the road had a room available. “No! Im here and dead tired”… so I accepted my mountain to climb. After getting all my stuff to the top floor and opening the door, “clunk” the inside security lock (bar) was in place. No one inside but the bar had apparently engaged with the help of the Gremlins. After “we” tried for 20 min to disengage it, using a tool that was engineered to do that no luck. Anyway she found me an empty (but lesser) room again on the top floor that was empty but did NOT have the mini fridge & microwave that I’d ordered in the original accessible room. So it was a nice room but, and the price was right but I’ll have trouble returning.

Elevator didn't work, had to walk up 3 flights of stairs even though my husband has heart problems as they told us it was the "last room" available even though I booked thru Expedia approx. 2 weeks before arriving.

For the price it was great. Clean and comfortable bed. Water was not real hot for shower and elevator was broke but staff was great and I felt safe and slept well.

Very clean

BEWARE! BED BUGS! Checked in after a long day of driving to be put in a room with bed bugs! We rented a room with 2 queen beds and both had bed bugs under the mattress and within the sheets! The hotel was booked out so there was no room to be switched to (not that we would have wanted to). We ended up staying elsewhere. At least the staff was kind and helpful.

The hallways smelled like urine. The room stunk like urine. Bed was so uncomfortable.

The location is close to the freeway, but rooms were clean and relatively quiet. My only complaint was the ever present smell of marijuana smoke in the hallways. I was in a non-smoking room and did not note any smell of it in there. I had a pleasant visit and a good night's sleep. I will stay there again.

The outside of the property was nice, the front desk checked us in quickly, no issues. Check out was quick and easy as well. The room was pretty dirty and the headboard of the bed was falling off the wall. The room had a dirty floor as well. The AC and noises from cars were pretty loud when we were sleeping. The price for a shower and a bed were by far the cheapest in the area.

The room was disgusting. Bathroom was filthy with hair on the counter, on the floor, poop in the toilet, the tub had not been cleaned in weeks. I wiped the floor with a wet washcloth and it was immediately brown. There were people outside smoking weed and listening to loud music. Final straw came when I brought my things in and a gentleman was complaining that his trailer was being broken into in broad daylight. I just didn’t feel safe there with my children so we left within 15 minutes of checking in. Unfortunately, the desk attendant would not refund me. I would recommend staying further into town and away from the freeway. Avoid this place.

Staff was friendly. Room was clean. Plenty of clean towels. Within driving distance of restaurants, stores, and the cinema. I'm happy I chose to stay here.

Noise

I chose this motel because it was rated as "Good" and it was economical. What the description should gave said is "Cheap" and exprect the furnishings to be tge same! I wasnt expecting luxury but what i got qas a sloppy mattress with no boxspring on an old metal frame! Ive had college bedrooms with berrter beds! Woukd nit recommend and personally i will avoid Motel 6 as future placec to stay.

Surprisingly clean and comfortable. Traffic noise was high as it is located right off the freeway.

Won't be staying there again bed was like sleeping on concrete and so low to the ground had a difficult time getting up, and it was a handicap room

Front desk gentleman was really nice and quick with checking us in, even during a rush of travelers checking in. The room was clean and updated within the past few years. There was a rogue hair in the bathroom and a stain on the decorative bedding foot cover but other than that the room was clean. The mattress is very firm but overall it’s not bad. We travel with our pets and it’s super easy and convenient staying at a motel 6 due to their pet friendly status.

Booked solid, but late arrival was honored, a room was saved for me. Unfortunately a very spartan, wheelchair accessible room, but pet friendly and spotlessly clean. Quiet, no noise from other rooms. Good bath/shower. No coffee maker, but it's a 2 star motel, so.. Staff friendly and on the ball. Being a handicap-accessible room, bed was low, but I was only there one night and tired, so didn't care. Good room for handicapped/physically challenged guest, lack of room decoration made it look more like a store room than a hotel room. Cheapest room I could find at short notice in Roseburg, OR, and right on the freeway, so good access. Restaurant for breakfast right next door.

Mattress is very old. The box spring is not straight

It was OK. The desk clerk was rude. If he had been speaking to a child, it would’ve been ok. But, I was offended by his accusatory demeanor in which he listed all the tacky things I couldn’t do in the room I had already bought. It was as if he thought I looked like trouble. But, this review is the only trouble I have for him.

Check in was terrible, the guy at the desk at night was so rude and mean. I am here because my mom is dying and he was such a rude jerk. I have never had someone so rude for no reason. The shower had hair in it, there is no shampoo for guests, the hall smelled of smoke in the non smoking area and it is so loud. Never again will I stay here

I've stayed at this motel several times now over the years, and I keep choosing it. Despite being a "cheap" motel, they seem to care about the customers, the property, and their reputation. The staff are always helpful, kind, trying to have a positive attitude. Customers should notice this and give the same. They don't have a lot of staff, so the couple of people there are doing a lot of jobs. It's pretty clean, the machines are stocked, and the outside is maintained. One time I had a TV that didn't work right, and they stuck with it until it was fixed, and came right away. On this visit, I got a call from the front desk a couple hours after I checked in, just making sure everything was okay. There is a nice dog area in the back, with bags to pick up doo-doo. Even though there is no breakfast, there is coffee in the lobby. I've never had a problem with cleanliness in a room. One time I stayed there was a lot of cigarette smell in the hall of one floor, and fans going, but that was only once and never any other time. It was summer, and I suspect someone was in a room and refusing to comply with non-smoking. There are obviously people staying here who are without other homes, and it seems to me there is peace and they are treated with dignity at this Motel 6. Once I heard a staff on a call with management, and he was talking about something which showed me that he was being careful and professional about a possible customer situation and safety for all of us.

Bathroom door had a fist hole in it. It was dirty. Had to wait a very long time to get help for check in. Won’t stay at this motel again.

Pretty standard motel, bed was comfy, shower was small (but I am a big guy). Staff was polite, and when i had to cancel my stay on Friday due to car troubles they were extremely helpful and helped me out.

The staff was friendly and efficient; just what we needed after a long day on the road. We needed a place for the night and booked at the last minute; Motel 6 was half the price of other options. I was expecting a small place (for the price) but it was a fairly new, large, and exceptionally clean building. Plus it had the charming touch of a bottle opener right next to the toilet. Can't get more convenient than that!

The room was spacious. Property was right off of the freeway. There is a breakfast diner just outside the property and a gas station across the street. As for the room amenities - The bathtub was not draining fast enough. It took longer to shower due to that. We requested for extra pillows but the request went into a black hole. We did not hear back from front desk. Nothing to complain, Hotel was good.

The property was clean and inexpensive. It is easy to get to from the freeway.

It's a Motel 6 so it's not fancy, but it was very clean and quiet. The room was comfortable. I especially liked the large showers. The staff was very friendly. I wanted to get an early start the next morning and the gal at the front desk offered me coffee to go and brought out the coffee supplies for me, even though it was early. I travel from California to Oregon a few times a year and I will definitely be staying here again.

Best "6" I've stayed at in years. Great vending. Free AM coffee. Great staff clean. Even a gift for the dog!

No fridge in room, no breakfast, Sherrys restaurant next door food prices are too high. Furnace in the room was too loud, woke up every time it came on. The shower was very good. There was evidence of a DOG previously in our room!

The room was clean and comfortable, except for one mattress was worn out. Also, there was no shampoo, conditioner or lotion. The only other complaint I have is they didn’t have any kind of breakfast, not even a donut. On the plus side, it was very quiet and had a nice per area that was well lighted. But the staff were the crowning glory of this motel. Every individual that I spoke to, and I talked to four of them, was friendly, courteous, and helpful. I enjoyed talking to them all and they all were very helpful in the instances that I needed some help. I highly recommend this model, but I suggest they as at least a minimum breakfast.

We just needed a place for the night. We reserved a room with a mini fridge to keep our food cold. Ended up with a room other than what we reserved. No fridge. But all turned out ok. Wish the area had more than a Shari's and In & Out Burger in the neighborhood for food options.

No continental breakfast.no hair dryer.no pool.broken elvator so could not stay on top floor..it was clean and quiet except at midnite on 2nd nite there was adult noises out in the hallway and woke me up

Good room at a fair price. I have stayed here before Easy on/off freeway. Nice staff. Dining options nearby. Recommended.
