Although I had booked and paid the room online, the receptionist required a $50 deposit, which would be refunded after I checked out (I was told this was their “policy” and refund wouldn’t be given until the room had been checked by motel staff after I left). There was a shortage of electrical outlets in the room, so I had to unplug the microwave to get an outlet for my laptop. 6 hours after leaving the motel, they have still haven’t refunded the deposit. I called 5 hours ago (well after they check the rooms people have checked out of) to inquire about my deposit since I hadn’t received any word on it and left my email for them to send the refund receipt. I still haven’t received any feedback/email from them.

I have stayed at Motel 6 in several states over the years. They have been clean, in good condition and a good choice for the price. With that being my expectation in Elizabethtown KY, I was extremely disappointed. The room was shoddy to say the least. The beds were clean so we stayed the night. The stairs leading to the second floor were missing large pieces of concrete. The staff who checked us in was less than professional. They had a conversation in front of me on whether to charge me a room deposit. They decided that a 66 year old woman appeared to be a threat to the condition of the motel and held a $50. room deposit on a room that costs less than $100. to stay in. This motel brings down the positive opinion of the Motel 6 chain.

Dead bugs on desk when i got there, bathroom floor was dirty. Mattress over hangs base so badly when i sat on the bed the Mattress bent and i fell off, and hit the ground hard. Back is still sore. Bed was clean, room was as clean as could be, however not nice. Seal on door was missing allowing noise, so room was very noisy. Flooring was popped up and noisy as if the room flooded. Shower top wasn't completed, and looked like room was under construction. Would not stay again.

The bed was very uncomfortable. Each side sloped down and you felt like you were going to roll off the bed. It was a nonsmoking room but the sheets and blanket had burn wholes in them. Shower base was cracked all the way around and stained really bad. Last time I stayed in a motel 6 was thirty years ago and it was a bad experience so after 30 years I thought I would give it another try and now another bad experience.

Rooms look nothing like the photos… They messed up our room order… We had to change rooms, sleep separate from my husband, because only a double bed was available. We were told it was a queen. Then, they told us it was two doubles. Then, I went at 10:50 at night we went down to say it was only one double, they said it was miss labeled. I’m exhausted and this was the last thing we need it today.

Very nice! Loved the location being close (walking distance) to a number of nice restaurants and the trail system around Buffalo Lake. The room was cozy and comfortable with nice towels and bedding. The shower was a little small, but workable.

Hotel is located conveniently by the highway. There are numerous dining choices from fast food to sit down. Checkin was very smooth and quick. It has a nice pool and wading pool for children. Attractive roses on property are well maintained. Room was small and clean. I would call this a typical Motel 6 accommodation. Very reasonable in price.

Hotel is located conveniently by the highway. There are numerous dining choices from fast food to sit down. Checkin was very smooth and quick. It has a nice pool and wading pool for children. Attractive roses on property are well maintained. Room was small and clean. I would call this a typical Motel 6 accommodation. Very reasonable in price.

When you tell the from desk that there is 3 adults that are handicapped and wheelchair accessible front desk states the room is fit for wheelchair and it was not , there was only 1 wash cloth and 2 towels for a 2 bed room that sleeps 5 but clearly can only have 4 . Would not recommend

I never write bad reviews but they have bed bugs. I would wait until they get an exterminator or whatever. I’ve never dealt with bed bugs before so I’m not sure if they need to burn the mattresses or they can just get an exterminator to come in and handle everything. But I slept there and woke up with what I thought was mosquito bites all on my arms and hands. Found out it was bed bugs. Also the tv, you can’t really hook your Roku up to it. The staff was nice, aside from the housekeeping lady who knocked on my door 5 times from 10am to 10:50am. Like I understand I need to checkout at 11 ok. Other than that the stay was decent I handled my business.
