Must be the best location to visit the area. Parking was flawless, check-in easy, our room a delight and the three meals we enjoyed wonderful. Carriages to the castle that are steps from the hotel rounded out a perfect experience.

Fabulous hotel in centre of a beautiful town. You can easily walk to both castles if you are ok with small hills. Hotel evening meal too expensive. Excellent meal at Hotel Alpenstuben just a few minutes away.

The check in was easy and the receptionist was very friendly and helpful ! The rooms were very nice, spacious and a with a large balcony and view to the castle. The hotel is beautiful, great restaurants and again Rey accommodating staff. Parking is right besides the hotel for hotel guests.

The view of the castle is from our room. Five minute walk from the hotel to the lake and a beautiful sunset location. Located right between the two castle and where the walking trails start and the horse drawn cart to the castle. Restaurant was excellent and priced similarly to other restaurants. On site parking. Nice breakfast buffet included. Very friendly staff and helpful.

very conveniently located close to Neuschwanstein Castle. Hotel itself was good, clean & quiet. I particular like the parking lot which is only a few yards from the hotel, which made my stay more convenient

Location is spectacular for an overnight to Neuschwanstein castle. Lovely and pristine clean. Dinner was lovely. Overall a wonderful experience. We rented a car for an easy drive to Neuschwanstein from Munich. Free and easy parking. Next to ticket office for castle and horse carriage to top. My huband and I had a lovely day/overnight from Munich.

Great hotel in a perfect spot for visiting the castles. The breakfast and dinner were good at the hotel restaurant with lovely views of Neuschwanstein Castle. The parking spot was also great since only paid lots are around. The rooms were comfortable and had nice views.

Best location 3 mins walk to Hohenschwangua and at the foot of 30mins walk up to bridge and Neuchschwanstein Castle. Excellent free breakfast and free hot drinks in the morning and had dinner in the restaurant with view of the castle everyday. Discount in the gifts shop. Free parking if you get a spot. We left our car there all 3 days. Great hiking around the area too and the lake is so beautiful.

The hotel was clean and convenient. The beds were firm but comfortable. It was clean but had an “old” scent. (Not mold), just age. We are picky and I am happy we stayed there.

The service was really great, with staff members going out of their way to help us and making sure everything went smoothly. The room was super spacious, with furniture, a comfy bed, and an awesome view. It was spotless, cleaned to a high standard, with fresh linens and a cozy vibe.

We arrived late in the evening for check in. Room was okay, a little dated but seemed fine. We immediately found fast moving bugs (identified by a staff member as silver fish and apparently quite common for the area he said). Bed linens felt clean and crisp but on one bedsheet we found dried blood. This was quickly replaced. The gentlemen working that night was very apologetic and did everything he could to help and ease our minds. It was bearable for a night. Hotel restaurant served me dried out, cold chicken and charged me €45. Beware. Breakfast was pretty good. All in all, the only draw for this hotel is the location. It is steps away from both Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles. The view of Neuschwanstein was priceless and best location but would not recommend that hotel!

Hotel, Lage, Personal und Frühstück waren top. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig, das Bett war gemütlich und wir hatten sogar einen kleinen Balkon. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen.

Spacious hotel room with a fantastic view of Neuschwanstein from the bedroom window. The room had a terrace with direct access, perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee. The food in the restaurant was okay, but the breakfast was excellent with many options. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

There are very limited dinner options near this hotel but the proximity to the castles makes up for that inconvenience. The staff seem overwhelmed during every interaction. Breakfast in the restaurant was lovely and included in the stay, however when we returned during the dinner hour for our complimentary welcome drinks the atmosphere and staff were completely unwelcoming with much of the restaurant empty. The WiFi almost never worked and when it did it was incredibly slow. The room was great, clean, spacious, had all the necessities (except bedsheets for some reason). However, given the convenience of how close it is to a very busy area it was incredibly loud with people and car noise going until midnight and then starting again around 6am.

Please read! This property has best location but… the mattress and the pillow It’s like sleeping on the wood , seriously it was that horrible. Breakfast was good dinner not so much… my room was as 26 with beautiful Terrace. Ask for comfort topper if you going to satay there and bring your own pillows…

Lovely stay and breakfast at Hotel Müller with a barista coffee supplied and a few options for how our eggs were cooked. Our only disappointment was that there was no way to stream to the TV from phone or access Netflix etc.

Great place to stay if you are going to visit Newschwanstein castle. The building itself if old, but I like those historic buildings so not complaining. Breakfast was good with variety and fresh juice/coffee. You get a magnificent view of the castle from the dining room. The only downside is that it has limited parking and if arrive late, you have park far away and in cold night, not a pleasant walk. I don't think there's much around the hotel so don't go there if you want variety of dining options with shopping.

We stayed for 1 night because we wanted to tour the castle. The lady at the front desk was very kind and helpful and lined our tickets for us to the castle. I highly recommend this place and will stay here again if the opportunity arises.

It’s a hotel more than 100 years old. The whole building is still with an old structure so it gives historical feeling which is interesting. And there’s no AC which is not too bad cause the place is cool. The staffs are friendly and looks happy. But there’s only one person in the reception, if she gets busy and needed to leave the desk, you’ll have to wait and don’t know when she will be back. Breakfast was ok. But I would stay since it still costed $400+ for a three star hotel.

We liked that it had an elevator. However, we did not like a particular evening waiter with red hair and mustache. He needs more training. He brings one dish out to a table of 2 and the one person has to wait a good amount of time until the other meal is brought out.

Perfect place to stay if you’re seeing Neuschwanstein & Hohenschwangua. Beautiful property & location. Great staff. The hotel is right next to Hohenschwangua, you can be at the castle in 5-10 min & a 25-40 min walk to Neuschwanstein. Restaurant was great, lots of shops around.

Ideally located in the heart of the castles, Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau. Check in was easy and our room was small but adequate for our family. There is parking reserved for hotel guests. Breakfast is included and there is a restaurant on site.

Must be the best location to visit the area. Parking was flawless, check-in easy, our room a delight and the three meals we enjoyed wonderful. Carriages to the castle that are steps from the hotel rounded out a perfect experience.

Very friendly staff with easy check in/out. Room is large with large bathroom. Comfy pillows and comforter. Had door to balcony with table/chairs. Bistro was glass enclosed with castle view. Horse carriage pickup is right outside the hotel. Town is very crowded during the day with bus tours but cleared out by 5. Public bathroom is 1 euro and disgusting. Both men and woman used either one, the floor are wet (didn’t rain!) but the worst is the smell that hits you after you pay the euro to enter. If you can wait til the hotel then do!!

The view of the castle is from our room. Five minute walk from the hotel to the lake and a beautiful sunset location. Located right between the two castle and where the walking trails start and the horse drawn cart to the castle. Restaurant was excellent and priced similarly to other restaurants. On site parking. Nice breakfast buffet included. Very friendly staff and helpful.

Location is spectacular for an overnight to Neuschwanstein castle. Lovely and pristine clean. Dinner was lovely. Overall a wonderful experience. We rented a car for an easy drive to Neuschwanstein from Munich. Free and easy parking. Next to ticket office for castle and horse carriage to top. My huband and I had a lovely day/overnight from Munich.

Wonderful hotel very close to both sites. Quiets down after 5pm when all visitors depart. Good breakfast, and dinner. Only complaint are rooms are hot if weather is hot but fans kept it tolerable. Staff was excellent.

The hotel would have got 5 stars but the dinner service was not to the standards of the rest of the staff. I made a reservation. When I got there there were two tables out of 40? occupied. As a single o was shown possible the worst table in the place. I asked if I could sit at a window. I was told no they were all reserved. Then she came back and told me I could have a window seat which was great. However she made me feel like had done something wrong and service was very cold and I enjoyable. Thx.

Great location! Close to everything…horse carriages are right across and bus is a 2 minute walk. Only thing that could be improved is the breakfast. Fruit was old and scrambled eggs and bacon were cold even though we showed up 10 minutes after breakfast started.

Spacious hotel room with a fantastic view of Neuschwanstein from the bedroom window. The room had a terrace with direct access, perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee. The food in the restaurant was okay, but the breakfast was excellent with many options. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Fabulous hotel in centre of a beautiful town. You can easily walk to both castles if you are ok with small hills. Hotel evening meal too expensive. Excellent meal at Hotel Alpenstuben just a few minutes away.

Lovely stay and breakfast at Hotel Müller with a barista coffee supplied and a few options for how our eggs were cooked. Our only disappointment was that there was no way to stream to the TV from phone or access Netflix etc.

Great hotel in a perfect spot for visiting the castles. The breakfast and dinner were good at the hotel restaurant with lovely views of Neuschwanstein Castle. The parking spot was also great since only paid lots are around. The rooms were comfortable and had nice views.

We arrived late in the evening for check in. Room was okay, a little dated but seemed fine. We immediately found fast moving bugs (identified by a staff member as silver fish and apparently quite common for the area he said). Bed linens felt clean and crisp but on one bedsheet we found dried blood. This was quickly replaced. The gentlemen working that night was very apologetic and did everything he could to help and ease our minds. It was bearable for a night. Hotel restaurant served me dried out, cold chicken and charged me €45. Beware. Breakfast was pretty good. All in all, the only draw for this hotel is the location. It is steps away from both Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles. The view of Neuschwanstein was priceless and best location but would not recommend that hotel!

A really nice, cozy and pet friendly hotel. Nice restaurand and very good food. Very nice personel. The only hotel we stayed in that had a dog bed and eating bowls in the room. This is and old but very charming building. No AC in the room.
