Motel 6-Kalispell, MT

Needs a facelift, they are working on it, but it was a good location for us. Pool being renovated, I think?! No frig in room. Beds were comfy. Lots of workers from the area stay here, it’s cheap, but not terrible. Front desk guy was nice.

Property is run down and in need of repair. Some rooms appear to being renovated. It’s the middle of July and the pool was closed, the ice machine isn’t working. Comfortable beds, clean bathroom

The pool was filthy, and not listed that it would be unavailable for use. That is one of the main reasons we selected this place to stay at. The room did not come with a microwave or even a fridge! Ive stayed at many Motel 6\'s all around the US, and I\'ve never had a room that didn\'t come with even a fridge. There were holes in the wall, the sink and the shower. The shower and shower head were filthy. The toilet had problems flushing. The bedding was soiled and dirty, so we all had to sleep on top of the bedding with our own small balankets and jackets. There was ZERO AC to use and the room was 100 degrees! Leaving the window open did nothing for a breeze and was sketchy as hell with the creeps regularly walki g around. The staff at this location were ignorant and rude as f***. They would not supply 4 towels for 4 people in a room and claimed "this is a Motel 6!" Like they\'re exempt from providing basic accommodations that COME with the room I paid for!! I will never stay here or reccomend this place.

Waited 40 minutes at front desk for a staff member to return to assist a lobby full of customers. Keys did not work multiple times. Room was dirty with chunks of dried food left on the nightstand. No toiletries. TV remote did not work. Pool looked like a green swamp. Not worth even close to the $200 per night fee.

Pool hasn't been working in quite some time. The AC unit was extra noisy, I shut it off just to be able to sleep. A lot of rattlng.

The exterior doors are in desperate need of paint. The swimming pool looks like it was abandoned. The water in it is green.

Barebones motel with nice staff. Served our purpose coming in late on a rainy night. Coin laundry works well. Gets the job done if you need a place to stay here.

This motel was not great. The outside was run down. The pool was closed. We had no chairs in the room. The front desk was horrible when i checked in but when i checked out, the guy was apologetic. Check was indian guy(push start) and check out was a white guy. The walls are paper thin. We got to listen to a baby cry all night. Not the babies fault. The ice machine was not working. Light came through where the ac u it was. Pay the extra to stay somewhere else..

The staff at the desk were great but there was dog hair all over the bed when I got there and the property looks poorly maintained.

Service was absolutely wonderful, therefore I feel bad giving a negative review. The floors were dirty leaving our feet black in bare feet. Really missed having a mini fridge.

Obviously, very low budget. Only two small bars of soap, no in room coffee, no breakfast, lumpy beds, minimal water pressure in shower, hair ball on the floor. Not what I expected from Motel Six.

The floor of my room was very dirty. I could see a deep accumulation of dust under the beds. My feet and socks turned brown/black after a few steps in the room. The parking lot was littered with old bottle caps and debris. Staff super nice and friendly though. The tap in one of the rooms was totally broken and loose.

I have never had such an experience at a Motel 6. We walked in the top blanket in the bed was stained in multiple spots. The toilet was filthy. The rooms condition was furniture had seen better days. Mattress was uncomfortable, thin springy. To top it off there were no bath towels.

If you’re looking at this property- stop immediately and take your search elsewhere. It’s absolutely disgusting. I wouldn’t dare take off my shoes, use the shower or sit on the bed. When we arrived our bed had blood stained sheets and hair on them. I informed the staff and the brushed it off like it was nothing. The brought new bedding and a garbage bag for me to throw the soiled items into. They refused to change the sheets themselves. Obviously I have no choice but to do it myself- when I took the sheets off there were dead bugs in between the sheet and mattress cover. Never again will I even look at a motel 6 property.

Absolutely no housekeeping for the whole 5 days we were there. The window unit had a good inch-1.5inch gap where someone could literally stick something through into your room & see in. The parking lot definitely felt sketchy if you know what I mean. Lock your doors & don’t leave anything valuable visible. Very noisy through all hours of the night. It’s like someone was just above having a boxing match or something until about 6am! The beds are the most uncomfortable beds! The shower was…weird? But oddly felt cleaner than the rest of the room. Just choose another hotel, period.

Dirty room. Broken tap and leaking pipes. Worst ever.

Room was filthy with long hairs everywhere. Urine on toilet seat. Property is trashed with dog feces and garbage everywhere. You can have all this and more for $200 a night.

Rooms are very basic. No fridge, no coffee maker, no blow dryer. Door lock needs repairs window aire conditioner was not secure, allowed easy access to the room from outside. Booked with expedia for a better room rate. Regular room rates are out to lunch for what you get. Front desk staff named Cash, was exceptional and the only reason i didnt change hotels.

I KNOW this is a Motel 6 and my expectations aren't high. The bed was comfortable. But our room wasn't clean; the floor might have been swept but it hadn't been mopped in awhile. The toilet had dirt(?) on the tank cover, the seat was clean, but not UNDER the seat. Clearly not optimum. The worst though was the noise. There was a window air conditioner that did not have a thermostat. It was held in place by a piece of plywood that didn't fit. We couldn't just open the window as there was no screen. So the only way to get air in the room was with the air conditioner. It was LOUD, and added to the street noise because we faced the front, it was uncomfortable noisy. I did eventually fall asleep, but it was tough. Add to all that, our room wasn't serviced. Just not a good look for Motel 6. You'll save some money if you stay here, but don't expect a typical Motel 6 room. Expect a substandard Motel 6 room.

The door was not flush so there was a gap you could see though in and out of the room. The air conditioner was held in with plywood with a good 1inch or better gap right above bed that you could see inside and outside of room.

Too noisy!

The shower is like trying to shower in a phone booth. Mattresses are really hard.

It was all good. The window AC right next to the bed was sort of loud and uncomfortable.

The room was clean but absolutely bare minimum. No shampoo, no hair dryer, only 2 pillows, no fridge and a slap dash air conditioner. There was no breakfast . I was disappointed overall.

Great spot to rest during our trip! Clean and friendly service, no complaints. Walls are a bit thin so I wore earplugs as I am a sensitive sleeper.

I was very grateful that they were able to check me in so late because I didn’t arrive til about midnight. The lady in the morning also gave me coffee after they put it away. Also I couldn’t get a ride out right at 11 checkout time and she gave me a little extra time. Very helpful.

Waited 2 hours after check in sitting in room for a key that worked. Staff had to let into room with master key and then had 5 sets that didn’t work before given another option. Couldn’t change room as full. Cash was at desk and did a wonderful job at trying but machine wouldn’t make a key that would open door Air conditioner in room never worked and 88 degree days. Too hot to sleep each night

The staff was excellent.

I made and paid for this reservation via Expedia. Upon my arrival at the property, the front desk staff asked for my card to charge $100 security deposit for incidental charges. I agreed and provided him with my credit card. To my surprise he charged me $124.16. When I mentioned this to him, he said to give him my credit card again which I did. And then he charged $100. And I told him that you have charged me twice he denied. I opened my credit card app and showed him all three charges by Expedia, and the two charges by the motel. He denied charging twice! His colleague came, and after much argument with me, they finally figured it out that they have charged me the $124.16 in addition to the other charges. Thankfully, they agreed to reverse the extra charge, but I felt their mistake was not innocent. It is worth the investigation for the management to make sure such a mistake does not happen repeatedly affecting other customers. The room itself had some problems. I stayed at room 233 which appeared to have been remodeled recently. The faucet was not properly fastened and it came off created a loud noise. There’s no shampoo in the room. And the door knob works the reverse direction, which is confusing. Overall, it was a horrible experience. I ran this matters to the management the following morning, she apologized. I appreciate that. I will never stay at this property again.

The manager/host at this property overbooked the rooms and when we arrived at 10 at night with our child we were told he had no rooms even though I had pre-booked and pre-paid. He also lied and said he called me and he said he called Expedia but he did not. Expedia assisted in relocating us in a timely manner thankfully. There was also another lady who had booked and the hotel manager also told her there were “no rooms available”.

The host, Cash, was amazing. He was very engaging, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The hotel was under renovation, and the updated rooms are neat and clean, but not fancy. Seemed a bit pricey, but still the best deal I could find for Kalispell.

I don’t like giving bad reviews but in this instance it’s deserved. First the good. The desk staff was great. The rooms needed to be updated, but they were at least clean. There wasn’t an air conditioner in the room I was in and it was warm in Kalispell so I had to open the window, which was extremely hard to do and was a fire hazard. The hotel has a lot of homeless and sketchy drug type users hanging in and around the parking lot. In the six days I was there, there were two instances where the police were there. I didn’t have a car this trip, but I would very leary to park my car there. It always made me feel uneasy going to and from my room. I would pick another hotel in Kalispell.

Easy access to National Park. Reasonable price. Good staff.

An older hotel, but close to easy dining. Mexican place next door was excellent. Fresh coffee in lobby in morning and small pool, good for a dip on a hot day. Water was pretty cold, must be fed by glaciers 😀. Place is showing its age, but it was clean and comfortable.

The Motel was dated but the staff were all friendly and looked after the building and grounds well. The girl when we checked in was friendly and helpful. As we checked out there was someone cutting the grass at the front. Clean rooms with a great shower. Coffee was free in reception for the morning. I went at 6am and there was plenty there. We walked in to town and back so not too far out. Price was the best in the town so great value for money.

Affordable accommodation option for a Glacier National Park trip.

Laundry available but no vending machines with detergent. Gas, groceries and good breakfast cafes close by, if you have to walk, maybe a 20 minute walk. Check-in person Samantha was very good, handled a line well.

I loved that it was super affordable so I could spend more money on fun stuff in Kalispell. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. Walking distance to food, bars, down town Kalispell. Under new management and open during remodel with excellent customer service! Pet friendly!!!
