The pool area was amazing, and the bar was great in the evening with live music. You can't call a grab to the hotel entrance which was a bit of an inconvenience.

Although this is only given 4 stars, I would say this is more of a 5 star hotel. The rooms are clean with comfortable beds, the staff are friendly and helpful, the restaurant food is delicious (particularly dinner) and the roof top pool/ bar is stunning and very hip with panoramic views of Sandakan and the sea.
