I’ve stayed there before and I was happy this time it seemed to be that I got a room a little run down with roaches I don’t if we got that room because I had my dogs with me. But I wasn’t really happy.

Clean room and appreciated the jacuzzi bath We requested a 1 hr late check out because I was delayed at a doctors appointment and the boy at the front desk said I would have to pay for another night. Made my wife wait outside. Never had a motel do this I thought it was poor customer appreciation.

Not a safe neighborhood, dog crap ALL over the front lawn, domestic fights all night, every night (other guests… inside and outside plus the walls are insanely thin), dog parking all night in room next door, washing machine broken, hard bed, 2 flat pillows, no iron, no blow dryer and no in room coffee maker.

Got to the hotel. Opened the door, stench of cigarette smoke inside room. (I didn`t ask for non smoking, I wrongly assumed no hotel allows smoking anymore.) Next door was the constant barking of a dog for at least 2 hours. (I had my dog with me, zero barking). I left a remote control for my Euro Tv channel box there when we left at around 10pm last night. We didn`t stay all night, too noisy for us to sleep. Called today & told no remote found. I guess the cleaner threw it in the trash. I won`t be back. & I paid $160 for the pleasure!

Staff was really nice and helpful. Rooms were nice and clean. Bathrooms a little outdated, but clean. Parking was horrible, I had my handicap mom with me and there wasnt any spots open.

we were looking for a less expensive place which accepted pets. I was that. The room was clean and the staff friendly. However the area around the motel is quite dirty and feels a bit unsafe. I probably will not stay there again.

It's noisy with someone driving a hot rod late at night making several trips down the road with their engine running very loud at 3am. Also there were beggars around the property while I was unloading my belongings from my vehicle. It felt unsafe at night. The parking lot is very small and you can't maneuver in such a tight space. The hotel was ok but it is outdated and needs better lighting

The stay was ok for what we needed it for. Unfortunately we found mold in the bathroom, behind the soap holder and in the light switch😭. Also I woke up to a baby roach in the bathroom and about 1 minute later the momma roach came out. We didn’t see anymore after that.

Gave 3 stars because front desk staff was courteous, professional, and informative. Otherwise, would have rated 2 stars. I booked a Queen Smoking room. Was given room 219. It was acceptable (barely) to me because I didnt want to go thru the trouble of arguing for a refund and finding anothe hotel. That would have ruined my weekend. The room was not the same from the pictures. Paint on was completely different. Not the biggest deal, but why show a different There's paintjob? There was no bathtub. Again, not the worst but im pretty sure the info stated it had one. Here's the big ssues: The security latch on door was loose so didnt even work to stop door from opening when engaged (deadbolt worked fine though). Shower curtain had a dead bug on it and hair on wall. Worst of all, there were stains on the sheets. The window curtain on had a cigarette hole and was partially off the curtain rod. There were stains on the sheets. AC/heater had broken vents and was dirty/dusty. I will not stay at a Motel 6 again unless I have no other option. Especially this one in Long Beach. Next time, I'll probably pay a bit more and stay at Hotel Mai when attending events at or near the Queen Mary unless maybe I get a partial refund to match what I'd have paid at lesser quality hotels that my room felt like. Dissapointed. But again, at least front desk staff were courteous and professional.

We needed a last minute hotel and booked here. Was a little leary based on past reviews and the price... but this place was great! Room was clean, a little old, but clean. Hotel staff was friendly and very helpful despite the last minute check in. Beds were comfortable and we felt the area was safe. Would stay here again if needed.

I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into the room. The guy at the front desk was very nice. The room was fairly big and very clean. The only said that was that the towels were very thin. I would recommend bringing your own towels. That’s what we did also, the area around it is so ghetto and scary but we made the best of it and just went to the beach. Just stay away from everything there’s really nothing to eat, but Jack-in-the-Box I had a hard time driving around looking for someplace to eat that was decent. I finally found a hole in the wall Chinese place and but the food wasn’t very good. I recommend bringing your own food and just go to the beach and nowhere else. so, the bed was very hard and hurt my back for a couple days.overall, the place was good.

i needed to check in early but the guy was a jerk about it all. i waited a little bit and when i got there the super nice lady said to check back in about 40 minutes since theyre cleaning and she could probably get me into a room. she even called me. super nice. it isnt a place for rest though. the walls are as thin as paper and the tv didnt work well at all.

Wasn’t a great stay had an issue with my room were the bathroom ceiling started leaking water but at least they were able to move me to a new room but pricing did not reflect the quality of the room.

Wow! What a hidden gem! We stayed for one night before a cruise and the place is pretty small, but when we opened to door to our room we were pleasantly surprised at how neat and clean the room was. Small motel, and it was full by the end of the day and I can see why. Extremely reasonable pricing and we ate at the Brunch restaurant next door-it was really good and their staff was very accommodating and pleasant. Motel staff was so nice and really worked to accommodate us with early check in , food recommendations and even helping us with our boarding passes for the cruise. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

Honestly I was expecting this place to be super rough, insects, faulty utilities etc. No issue with the room, felt safe walking to the CVS and 7/11 at night. Local transit was great to get to the Shoreline Waterfront venue.

I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into the room. The guy at the front desk was very nice. The room was fairly big and very clean. The only said that was that the towels were very thin. I would recommend bringing your own towels. That’s what we did also, the area around it is so ghetto and scary but we made the best of it and just went to the beach. Just stay away from everything there’s really nothing to eat, but Jack-in-the-Box I had a hard time driving around looking for someplace to eat that was decent. I finally found a hole in the wall Chinese place and but the food wasn’t very good. I recommend bringing your own food and just go to the beach and nowhere else. so, the bed was very hard and hurt my back for a couple days.overall, the place was good.

It's noisy with someone driving a hot rod late at night making several trips down the road with their engine running very loud at 3am. Also there were beggars around the property while I was unloading my belongings from my vehicle. It felt unsafe at night. The parking lot is very small and you can't maneuver in such a tight space. The hotel was ok but it is outdated and needs better lighting

Honestly I was expecting this place to be super rough, insects, faulty utilities etc. No issue with the room, felt safe walking to the CVS and 7/11 at night. Local transit was great to get to the Shoreline Waterfront venue.

we were looking for a less expensive place which accepted pets. I was that. The room was clean and the staff friendly. However the area around the motel is quite dirty and feels a bit unsafe. I probably will not stay there again.

Wow! What a hidden gem! We stayed for one night before a cruise and the place is pretty small, but when we opened to door to our room we were pleasantly surprised at how neat and clean the room was. Small motel, and it was full by the end of the day and I can see why. Extremely reasonable pricing and we ate at the Brunch restaurant next door-it was really good and their staff was very accommodating and pleasant. Motel staff was so nice and really worked to accommodate us with early check in , food recommendations and even helping us with our boarding passes for the cruise. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

Overall the property was clean and maintained I really enjoyed my stay. I stayed with two kids it was a very small space but we enjoyed our trip and or was close to the beach and right next to major food places like the Loaded Diner nice breakfast and super friendly staff. We truly enjoyed our stay 🙏

Nothing like the Motel sex pictures on the website of course very disappointing very rundown horrible neighborhood. Illegal stuff going on in the parking lot very noisy. The staff was very friendly, but you could tell they really didn’t want to be there. Would not recommend this place for anyone, especially families.

We booked this Motel 6 due to high star rating & photos showing clean, maintained rooms. But our experience was nothing like what was advertised. From the moment we checked in-male front desk employee was unfriendly & unwelcoming. Room 103-in a dark corner of the property looked old, dirty, & poorly kept. Bedding-sheets & mattress cover had visible stains, pillows were so worn out & flat that they should have been replaced long ago. It took us nearly an hour to unload our belongings, secure our vehicle, & make sure nothing valuable was left in sight due to surrounding area- felt unsafe, w/sketchy activity & people walking around. After seeing condition of the room, I returned to the front desk to request a refund. Instead of being understanding, same employee responded in a condescending tone, w/I was “complaining after an hour.” He refused to give refund but moved us to Room 125-slightly better but still had worn bedding & outdated fixtures that clearly need replacing. As we walked across parking lot to new room, the front desk employee spoke to guests standing on 2nd floor, asked if everything was okay & proceeded to tell them about my complaint-very unprofessional! Sharing a guest’s concerns w/other customers was not good! I will never stay at this Motel 6 again. I called Hotels.com, but Rep Meera didn’t resolve issue or give the $30 credit. This property was misleading compared to its online photos, customer service was poor- accommodations didn’t meet expectation.
