i doubt you can improve this, but I wish you had wider parking stalls given that the car sizes continue increasing. Finding a parking spot that will make it possible for passengers to get out of the car without rubbing against other cars is almost impossible, and this is even after the front desk staff offered us an “SUV” parking spot (I can’t thank her enough for that - I can only imagine how much narrower the “normal” parking spots are. I don’t think this is specific to your hotel though, but is rather a downtown problem.

Pressed bed linens, non-squeaky spring mattress with great support and cushioned pillow top. Excellent water pressure from all faucets. Low height toilet. No assist bars for shower or tub. Bath towels are in need of an upgrade, thin and scratchy. No microwave but a bar sink, coffee pod machine and mini fridge were handy. Light blocking drapes and privacy sheers made the expansive windows enjoyable. Building seemed to be fairly well sound dampened from street noise. Busy corner but nighttime was quiet. Access pool and spa by walking through the gym to a door that leads outside. Walk through the outside dining area and past the large windows to dining room. Heated salt water lap pool was clean. Good, wide, double bar with steps. Towels provided. A few loungers and one umbrella. Towels provided. Beautiful landscaping. Jacuzzi was perfect temp and spacious but extreme chlorine fumes from steam so unable to use. No outside pool bathroom or shower. All facilities were in the hotel which required you to partially dry off enough to trek back through the dining area and gym. A bit inconvenient but the inside bathrooms (mens and womens separate) have a sink room with a single toilet closet, privacy glass shower and multi person steam room. Liquid soap dispensers, bench and hooks, towel hamper. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay after a cruise. We hired an uber $25 for early morning ride to airport. Plenty of good restaurants, coffee and bakeries within 6 min walking distance.

We were in the middle of the week, wanted to be close to shopping center and it's 5 min walk to the mall. We wanted to make sure we have EV parking and they has plenty of parking with charger, which is one of the important reason I chose to stay here. The parking was $30 with all tax and I could leave the car until 4pm. We did go to the gym which was small but enough to what I need.

Staff was incredible and always went above and beyond. Board room, gym, pool, and jacuzzi were all top notch. Rooms were kept well cleaned and had great amenities. Restaurant was delicious. Highly recommend.

Location is great and convenient to the city. Staff is very nice. The lobby smells amazing s it has a fresh bouquet of flowers in the middle. I love the lap pool, hot tub and workout room. Works stay again.

The location and staff are very good. The hotel is in dire need of updating. Bathrooms are old. It’s either a bath or rain shower. Pillows are uncomfortable. Worn and musty carpets in room. An average hotel at above average rates.

We decided to stay at L’Hermitage based on the outstanding reviews and star rating. Service was excellent; staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and we so appreciated being able to check our bags with the front desk at checkout and leave our car parked in the underground hotel parking while we did some fun things around the city. The suite itself was a generous size and well-appointed, although the mini fridge could have been a bit colder. One thing we really loved about our suite was the large private balcony, equipped with chaises and an outdoor dining table with seating for 4. It was ample and lovely, with views overlooking downtown. Some of the outdoor furniture could have benefited from a cleaning (bird excrement), but that’s to be expected, and I’m sure the hotel staff have a schedule for this that they’re on top of. The real disappointment of the trip was turning down both beds late in the evening to find both sets of sheets were stained, and quite obviously so. I’m not sure how this could have been overlooked by staff, and honestly, in a hotel of this calibre, it was quite shocking. Mistakes do happen, but to find both the sofa bed and king bed experiencing the same issue was disheartening. It was after midnight, and we were able to call staff to change the sheets, which we were grateful for. Again, staff were wonderful, but in my view, stained sheets are never acceptable.

Our stay was lovely. The infused water in the lobby was very refreshing. The staff was very helpful. We checked in around 6pm and had no idea where to eat. The front desk offered some ideas and even made a last minute reservation for us down the street. Parking was easy. The room was clean and the balcony was nice, except it was raining. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

I was thoroughly impressed with this hotel. The service was top notch from the moment we arrived until we left. The room was large with a huge balcony. Beautiful and spacious room, modern updates, large patio, large bathroom with bathtub and shower. The outdoor spa was divine on a cold evening. The hot chocolate bar at the restaurant was a special touch. Great service our whole trip!

Excellent and very professional service. Room was spacious and comfortable overall. Location is great. I didn't get to checkout the pool. The only thing I would recommend the hotel to update is maybe better/newer clothing iron and hair dryer, since they didn't seem to work properly but didn't really impact our stay and overall we were very happy and would definitely recommend them.

My daughter and I stayed here for four nights. We both agree it was one of the finest places we have ever stayed on all of our travels. We rented a suite, which was really more of an apartment. The bath had both shower and tub. The bedroom had a king size bed. The living room had a side office space and a sofa bed. There was a kitchen with subzero and Bosch appliances. The entry hall had a huge coat closet and there was a very large walk-in closet off of our bedroom. It’s ina perfect location with an IGA store just around the corner and a wine shop about a block away. Shopping on world famous Robson Street was just steps away. Staff was fabulous. Everything was just excellent. Highly recommend.

The staff here was extremely friendly. Probably the nicest staff I've seen at a hotel. Room was clean, bed was insanely comfortable. A bit noisy, I dont know if it was the fridge or the AC but there was weird noises on and off. I wish we'd used the pool but the bed was too comfy, we slept in lol. The parking was actually cheaper than most Vancouver hotels, they have valet parking but we have a manual car and a lot of Canadians have never driven one so we opt to park it ourselves. The location is great but we stayed with several friends from the Island and just hung out in our room ( we are locals we just like to stay at hotels randomly)

I stayed in a beautiful one bedroom signature suite which had everything one needed to feel at home for a week. The kitchen was well equipped and I liked the spacious living area. Although the bathroom was small, with a shower over the bath, it was clean and had good amenities. The air conditioning system was very efficient, something which makes a difference when it’s warm. The hotel felt like a haven from the bustling city. The staff were all very friendly and professional. I enjoyed the gym and the outdoor pool. Overall a very memorable stay.

Quiet well-maintained property with dining and nice outdoor space with pool and hot tub. Convenient to shopping and attractions and to cruise port. Service was not up to par. We entered dining room a little before 10 pm (the sign said open til 10) and we were told we couldn’t be seated but could order room service. We went elsewhere. Also asked for a 1/2 hr. later checkout and were told they couldn’t accommodate that. Disappointing.

I would have said our stay we average to good, but our car was badly damaged by their parking gate and I was surprised at their staffs lack of response. Be careful if you park in stall #98 because the gate will damage an open car door if your doors are open too far. This is what happened to us and would have completely pulled the door off our car had I not hit the button for the gate to stop it. Now we have a crumpled door that barely closes though. I told staff about it and her response was “oh my, that’s terrible” and asked for our room number saying she would talk to her manager. I honestly didn’t expect anything from the hotel initially as this seemed like a park at your own risk kind of deal, but after she took my room number and said she would speak with her manager I thought we’d at least Get an apology. Nope, no one followed up with us. Otherwise the stay was ok. Our room was Sub park for the price. Smaller than I expected and right off the elevator so the hallway traffic was pretty loud. Light bulbs were burnt out in the room when we arrived as well. The amenities were nice including the hot tub and pool but couldn’t really make up for the rest of our experience.

All the stellar reviews are spot on. This is one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed at. The lobby is shared by a residence section and the hotel section and they had fresh fruit and herb flavored water in the lobby each day. Every staff member we encountered was wonderfully friendly, and helpful. Shout out to Carole who checked us in to a fantastic room and sent up chocolates for my partner's Bday All staff at this place seemed happy to be in the hospitality industry - from front desk to housekeeping. We stayed in a 1bedroom with kitchen and showed it off to all the friends and family we visited during our week long stay. They were all equally impressed. Our room felt like home. We could envision living there (and would like to ). Lap pool was lovely as was the small steam room and jacuzzi. The restaurant looked warm and inviting, but we didn't get a chance to try it out as we ate our way through Vancouver and never had room left once we were back at the hotel. Front desk was able to make reservations for brunch for us at the super popular restaurant next door Medina. Room was super clean. Furnishings were well chosen, modern yet elegant, fairly neutral, warm and inviting. Bathroom had everything you need including L'Occitaine products, and water pressure was strong. Bed was super comfortable. The bedroom had a walk in closet and there was a washer and dryer which came in handy. This will be our go to property for future visits to Vancouver.

I booked this property based on all the reviews. The property did not disappoint. We arrived early after disembarking from our cruise, with the hope to store our luggage. We didn’t expect to check in so early. We were greeted immediately, received assistance with our luggage and felt welcome. The front desk employee apologized for us not being able to check in, which we weren’t expecting. She offered us a voucher to go to the restaurant and have coffee or tea. We took her up on this offer and went and had a glass of iced tea. The wait staff was very friendly and accommodating. Once we finished, we planned to walk around town. This is my favorite Vancouver hotel. The location is near the best shopping and excellent restaurants. As a former Vancouver resident I know which sections of downtown are a bit gritty and the hotel is nearer to them than other choices but you would never know that. Instead it’s an oasis of nice staff, great amenities like the salt water pool, comfy rooms (some with balconies) and awesome beds, showers and supplies. The restaurant is well priced, serves good food and is a wonderful place to have a meal or cocktail or coffee. Staff are so helpful. Even the parking is safe and reasonably priced for downtown Vancouver.

The hotel is just a couple of blocks from the centre of downtown Vancouver, with excellent shopping, restaurants, attractions and transportation stops only a short walk away. The hotel itself is quiet and luxurious with a lovely private rooftop pool. The room was spacious, very comfortable, well fitted and in an excellent state of repair. Overall this was a perfect base for our few days in Vancouver. I would highly recommend L'Hermitage Hotel to anyone.

Natalie was the most wonderful front desk person and set the tone for a splendid stay. Everyone at the hotel treated us with kindness and great service. The restaurant plays Casablanca on mute with Swedish subtitles in a contiguous loop and we found that to be delightfully random and fun!

Amazing room, clean, large, all amenities including little creamers in the fridge rather than horrible dry powder stuff. Breakfast was very good. All the staff were excellent - dining room, front desk, door man. Definitley go back if ever in Vancouver again.

Very noisy place to stay. Air conditioner is very loud (we turned ours entirely off). You can hear all the toilets flushing and definitely hear all the room doors slamming shut constantly all night and early morning as they are not soft closing doors. Location good but so many other luxury hotels nearby (that we did try out) which are better. Dining is not recommended here- we went 4 times during our 7 night stay - best for cocktails only. Don’t have wine here as they serve red wine that has been opened for 3-4 days and therefore entirely oxidised as they don’t have vintec option to keep oxygen out of the bottles.

We spent 5 days at this Hotel. The Hotel location is excellent. Staff is welcoming and helpful. Rooms are clean and ours was very quiet. The bed was confortable and we enjoyed dining at the L’Orangerie restaurant.

Die Zimmer sind wirklich sehr schön und sehr gross. Uns hat aber eine Bar oder eine Möglichkeit für ein vernünftiges Frühstück gefehlt. Wohl kann man im „Restaurant“ ein Frühstück bestellen, es hat aber kein Buffet. Wir hätten uns sehr gerne ein solches gewünscht. Wir haben dann ein Mal im Hotel gefrühstückt, danach auswärts.

Great stay here! We loved the big room that was like having our own apartment in the city for the weekend; great bed; balcony was huge! We valet parked our car, and walked everywhere - tons of restaurants close by, and great restaurant on 2nd or 3rd floor where we ate breakfast each morning - it was so yummy! The restaurant also had a super cute outdoor garden area that would be wonderful on days its warm enough to eat outside.
