I didn’t know there was a breakfast

Wyndham Indianapolis Airport is a very nice hotel. However, the staff (from reception to bar tenders) really need to step up their hospitality skills. For example: I called down to the the lobby desk to see what time the restaurant closes. The woman told me the time but before I can say 'thank you', she rudely said she couldn't take my order because there is a line of people waiting to be checked in. First of all, why would I place a food order at the reception desk? The bartenders are not friendly either. I get it, they're tired and always busy but attitudes really make a difference. I highly suggest to use "Forbes" for hospitality training. It's the best will improve these types of behaviors.

The hotel photos on Hotels.com definitely were glossed up and don’t accurately represent the wear & tear of such an old hotel. Parking is limited, construction on one side. Bedding and sheets were uncomfortable, toilet made weird bubbling and sounds when flushing. HVAC is spotty. Morning breakfast was cold coffee, food was subpar. Would not book again at this hotel especially on an inflated price.

Great stay. Comfortable beds and clean. Only minor complaint was lack of hot water for showers. Water was warm at best. Came in contact with little staff members, but those we did were pleasant.
