Barcelo Valladolid

This hotel is well-located near botanical gardens. Rooms are very new (with a bit of "new construction" smell when we were there) , clean, and sound insulation was very good. In addition, the beds were very comfortable, shower was great, and we loved having a mini-fridge. The breakfast buffet (added fee) has a huge array of foods and all were very good. Restaurant/bar in lobby is also great. Lovely patio/pool area on second floor. They have a parking garage (added fee) around the corner, which was very useful, but ask for directions before you arrive - it's a little tricky to get to. Mainly I want to commend the staff for their gracious hospitality toward our large group. The country house we'd booked for the eclipse was cancelled on the day of our scheduled arrival, so we booked multiple rooms at this hotel at the very last minute. The hotel staff dealt with our registrations with efficiency, accommodated our special requests with generosity, and tolerated our boisterousness with good humor. David in particular is a GEM and really helped to make our birthday/retirement/eclipse celebration a memorable one. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely book again should I return to Valladolid.

Este pasado fin de semana, nos informaron de una rotura en una tubería de aguas sobre nuestro vehículo, que se encontraba en el parking del hotel. Al bajar, encontramos el vehículo cubierto de agua sucia (aguas fecales), cristales sucios y con un olor insoportable. La situación nos causo un gran malestar. Según la Ley 26/1984 de Defensa de los Consumidores, tienen la obligación de ofrecer servicios en condiciones higiénico-sanitarias adecuadas. La falta de mantenimiento ha provocado esta situación. No mostraron ninguna disculpa ni ofrecimiento de compensación, lo cual es inaceptable. Es una pena la falta de profesionalidad sobre todo de un señor que realizó su actividad laboral en la recepción de éste pasado sábado.

Hotel novo, bem localizado com um excelente café da manhã! Contudo, o staff da recepção não é muito amigável e eficientes, bem como a toalha de banho não enxuga bem e a cortina do quarto não veda bem, de modo que assim que amanhece o quarto fica claro!

Muy buena ubicación, está cerca de todo.
