The staff was amazing. Coffee was constantly being filled without having to tell the staff. The check in process was smooth. I had issues with the laundry facility not being open, but was refunded my quarters. Staff was great! No issues with them, but the bathroom curtains smelled and the bed sheets smelled.

You definitely get what you pay for. If you are only needing a bed this is the place to stay. The beds were comfortable but the rooms didn’t have an iron, a refrigerator or any toiletries like shampoo or conditioner. There was not coffee in the room but they had unlimited coffee in the lobby in the morning until 10am. The pool wasn’t usable. The front desk staff were friendly.

Would have liked a dip in the pool after a long drive, but it was shut and looked like it had been for a while looking at the colour of the water. As for the room, basic, but clean, not all the lights worked and we could only get 1 channel on the TV. But super comfortable beds and a great nights sleep!

Microwave in the ice room attached to the office almost always open. From about 1030 pm till 9pm ish?? The 2 desk clerks I observed had polar styles one was mostly "by the book\' and looking from managements perspective... The other was more personable relating to a guest. A good mix to have on a team working together.

At motel 6 I don’t expect a lot. But I do at least expect a clean space. The floor, walls and shower of the bathroom had bugs of all sorts on them. It was nasty. The wall were stained as well. The fixtures had rust and the wall is the main room we’re damaged. I’ve had must better motel 6 experience in the past. Absolutely do not stay here.

Positives: front desk guy was nice and check in was super fast. Cons: everything else. Absolutely filthy room. Cockroaches crawling all over the floor & on the walls!!! We reserved as we were on the road and needed showers. We were only there for an hour and saw SIX cockroaches in that short amount of time...that's a lot of cockroaches. Sink was so dirty, long black hairs on bathroom floor and shower walls. Walls paper thin. I didn't expect much for an $80 room by any means but it was pretty disgusting. So, expect to sleep with cockroach friends here.

The staff was friendly. Checkin was quick. However the room left a lot to be desired. The shower had mold and dirt on the bottom of shower door. The bathroom door needs to be repaired. The walls were stained, and dirty. Flooring was dirty thruout. And we found a cockroach crawling by the TV, and our food we had ordered. I was not happy about that. The pool area was nice. The laundry room was out of order. The room was outdated, and could use a serious update.

The office staff was very rude and deceitful. We were forced to leave after a 14 day stay because. Supposedly that's the policy for Porterville Motel 6 but it is against California law to make a guest leave the property after 14 days by law the guest has 28-30 before having to leave. Nowhere is this written in their policy and it is not the policy of of Motel 5 overall

The man at check in was extremely nice. He even rushed a room to be cleaned so i was able to check in early after a 24 hour drive. Im very thankful as after 24 hrs I was exhausted. Room is comfortable and clean. I would stay here again.

Staff is very kind and helpful. But area around is not safe. Lot of homeless people. Even inside their property in parking area, a guy asked me for cigarette, after I denied he knocked a room whose door was slightly opened, denial from there and he went to another person in parking.

The staff was amazing. Coffee was constantly being filled without having to tell the staff. The check in process was smooth. I had issues with the laundry facility not being open, but was refunded my quarters. Staff was great! No issues with them, but the bathroom curtains smelled and the bed sheets smelled.

You definitely get what you pay for. If you are only needing a bed this is the place to stay. The beds were comfortable but the rooms didn’t have an iron, a refrigerator or any toiletries like shampoo or conditioner. There was not coffee in the room but they had unlimited coffee in the lobby in the morning until 10am. The pool wasn’t usable. The front desk staff were friendly.

Pool was not open the first night we stayed but was the next night. For a Motel 6, this one is pretty decent. Good Mexican food across the street.

Receptionist was welcoming and friendly. Room was was clean. They did provide coffee and hot water in the morning. The facility had microwave and laundry room. Overall it was good. Only suggestion is that lawn cleaning service should be used between check-in time and check-out time i.e. 11am-3pm. It caused some inconvenience as the blowers they used to clean did deposit lots of dust on our car which was cleaned in the morning just an hour back!

Room furniture needs to be change old bed and nightstand and repaint room. Shower old needs change. What really got to me there was roaches in the room. For the price it would be 2 stars. Because of roaches 0 stars I give it 1 star because no problem with check in and I saw house keeping cleaning rooms of other people who had just checkout. I needed a iron. The office people took care of it no problem there. This review goes to the people own/Manage the motel. How can you rent this place like this and how can you have your employees work in this environment. 9/5-7/26

Staff was very helpful, checking was very efficient and smooth, room was very cleand and smelled very clean as well. I like this place because it has easy access to many things around the city. Service was as expected or better, I would say. One downside was that there are quite a few homeless people around the property, but they never gave me any trouble. Also, there is a pool that has been left to die and it looks bad, but it is closed. Additionally, I felt welcomed by the staff and I was offered help.

Our stay at Motel 6 was extremely disappointing. There were roaches around the property and even inside our room we killed a couple during our stay. The room looked moderately cleaned at first glance, but once we looked closer, it felt very unsanitary. The walls were stained, and when we moved the trash can, there was a large wet puddle underneath it. The bathroom was especially bad. The shower floor appeared dirty and had brown staining, and the old shower curtain was being held up with zip ties. The sink would not drain properly, and you could clearly see hair and buildup around the drain. Some of the trim and repairs around the room also looked poorly patched and maintained. We were uncomfortable enough with the cleanliness that we slept on top of the bedding with our clothes on. On top of that, the night was extremely disruptive. We could hear people arguing and threatening to kill each other, along with people repeatedly running back and forth in the room above us. Overall, the property felt poorly maintained, unsanitary, and uncomfortable. Based on our experience, we would never stay here again !!
