What we did not like: check in was terrible. I know they were crazy with people coming and going. Perhaps another person or 2 would have helped. We were 20 minutes late getting into our room. We were going to a wedding and that was pretty tight. On 2 different occasions there was poop in the pool which necessitated closing the pool. I was leary going back in after it reopened.

I loved the peoperty the staff was àmazzzzing. The only issue I had was the weight machine was broken when I went to work out. Im not sure if the staff knew or not.

Great place to stay for families! Hotel is a little dated but still clean. Waterpark was crowded in evening and older teens/adults were playing rough with no consideration of young children. The morning hours were much better. Pool opens at 8am and was less crowded and more enjoyable. Take your own towels for the pool. Hotels provides towels at pool but they are tiny and you can’t take from pool area. No elevator so it’s a hike if you’re in second floor.

The hotel is functional but older. That’s not to say it wasn’t enjoyable. Just don’t expect anything very new. The kids enjoyed the pool area it but it was crowded and a few of the things didn’t work and said “closed for cleaning” for multiple days. The hotel in general is well kept for the volume of kids and family’s who rotate through there. The staff is where it comes together. They were great and very accommodating. I’d absolutely stay again with the kids.

The hotel is slightly dated but it was very clean. Our kids loved it. We were a bit disappointed with the arcade room because several games didn’t work and the air hockey table was out of order and our kids were really looking forward to that. The staff is very nice and welcoming, checked to make sure we had everything we needed, breakfast was good. I do wish they monitored the pool area a bit more we had issues with older kids being unsafe and not much we can do. I would definitely stay again with high hopes they fix up the arcade room considering you think you’re getting that when booking and probably stay when it’s a bit less busy! All in all our kids didn’t want to leave and the staff was so nice so we will definitely come back!

This hotel is outdated. Also, the pool area and cafeteria is not big enough to hold the amount of people they are booking. It was over crowded, and they had to close the pool multiple times due to people pooping in the pool, and nothing was done to make it right for the lost time.

This was a great place for us to stay with 3 kids. They absolutely loved the pool area, and the game room. Breakfast is included, so family friendly. Parts of the hotel are a little dated but that did not matter to us.

Bathtub wouldnt drain until after shower, cable was out one night. Stayed 3 nights and had to have key cards reprogrammed 2 nights. Staff was not friendly. We didnt even swim because the pool didnt look clean. The pool color was green.

The hotel rooms were sticky snd dirty. The bed pillows were 20 inch square throw pillows, at best. Room walls ate paper thin so you can hear the people in the rooms next to you and in the hallways. The pool area was extremely filthy. Hair and lint balls could be seen all over the concrete. The portion of the concrete that was painted blue was chipping, leaving blue paint chips on our feet, and all over the pool area. The water was murkey and you could not see the bottom of the pool. In the morning, there were chicken bones and ants all over the concrete in the pool area. I would not recommend this place.

The outside is clean and somewhat well kept , walking in the front door I could smell a strong odor of cannibis . The inside of the property is clean as it can be with carpet in a place thats specialty is its water park . Another strong musty odor permeates and the blue carpet is black with dirt trapped in it . The room was clean except for the filthy carpet turning your feet black . The beds are old and saggy , we left rather than sleep on them the second night we had paid for . The entire building smells of cannibis , it’s very loud with slamming doors and kids . I thought it would be a fun hotel for the weekend , but it turns out it is a local gather all the kids and get a room for the night/weekend party spot with dingy carpet and bad beds .

We had a great stay at comfort inn.. I only gave it a 4 star for cleanliness and property conditions because the hotel had a very musty smell as soon as we walked in.. like it had previously been flooded.. I was hoping it was only the entry way that smelled like that, but unfortunately when we got to our room, it too smelled musty. Other than the smell, the kids had a great time in the pool area.

Some of the rooms look into the indoor water park, and while not a huge problem if you are wanting to sleep in you’re going to hear noise. When I was checking in the lady was very rude and basically said that anyone who was not staying in the hotel room was not allowed on the premises and had to leave. So only my daughter from out of town and her boys were allowed to stay we couldn’t visit with them at all.

Kids loved the water park and the arcade. Hotel room was affordable, clean, and perfect for what we needed. The putt putt course beside the hotel was an added bonus, with a few nearby restaurants. Not many options for other activities outside of the water park nearby, but it was the reason we came there to begin with. We will be back again in the future.

The hotel was convenient to the Snow Trails and the swimming people was nice experience for kiddos to play.

The hotel was convenient to the Snow Trails and the swimming people was nice experience for kiddos to play.

A great and comfortable place that is near our favorite family owned restaurant in Bellville. The pool/splash and arcade was a fun spot to check out. (Pool/splash area was more for the younger kids and not my teens.) Also found a mini golf next door to visit. When we come back to visit family we will stay again.

Absolutely loved how well the splash part was kept up. The arcade area needs an upgrade, most 2 layer games no longer work. Breakfast was amazing for a hotel, fresh and hot. The selection was that of an expensive hotel. We will be back

Good stay, we were just really shocked about the sheer number of kids running around the place. We didn't even get to use the pool. We were pretty dumbfounded by the lack of choices for the breakfast buffet. Could've been better.

We had a great experience from start to finish! Staff was friendly and helpful, the waterpark was clean, comfortable and fun and the arcade was a nice little extra! Breakfast was great and our grandkids can’t wait to go back!

Amazing pool, water slide, and splash pad!!!!! The grandsons absolutely LOVED it and I had so much fun playing with them! Great breakfast choices too. Wonderful place for family time!

Perfect for a one night stay. However, The charge for a pet states $20.00 but when I checked in they said $40.00 due to my reservation was for a room with carpet. The option for a room with a tile/wood floor was not available on the hotels.com app.

Kids and I had fun! I think check in should be sooner than 4pm. If you are booking the room to play at Splash Harbor and only get one night, you can play from 4p-10p and then check out is 11am. It just doesn’t seem like enough time to do pool, dinner and arcade before bed and then check out. Otherwise we had a good time. I wish they would consider changing check in time.

The entire hotel is extremely humid as a result of the water park. Even the carpet feels damp. The bathroom door was also warped and would not close without force. Much of the property is clearly not maintained; not even fresh coats of paint. The bathroom vanity was updated which was nice, and the showerhead sprayed properly. The breakfast area is very small with inadequate seating, but beware the rooms don't really offer a place to sit with your family either unless you wants plates on your lap while you sit on the bed. Additionally, the main entryway to the water park is THROUGH the dining area... Not sure how that's not some sort of health code thing. Breakfast itself is sub par. My family preferred McDonald's to grab and go on day two (which should speak volumes). Der Dutchman is nextdoor, which is a good alternative too. The arcade is actually pretty modern. Lastly, the water park. My kids loved it. There's lots to do in a small space. That said, the water looks dirty. Even my 11 y/o son noticed the water looked murky. Note also, the water park seemed to be an afterthought to the hotel construction. Our window faced the water park, so we basically couldn't open the blinds unless we want everyone to be able to look into our room. Hours for the park are 8am to 10pm. Good luck getting to bed early with little ones. To put this all in perspective, my family is typically a Holiday Inn Express family. That chain does it better head and shoulders over this inn.
