Für All-Inclusive eine hervorrangend gute Auswahl an leckeren Speisen am Buffet. Steiniger Strand, aber sehr sauberes Meerwasser mit Sichtweiten über 15 Meter und Fischen ohne Ende vor der Schwimmbrille. Schöne grasbewachsene Liegewiese. Personal in der Rezeption immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Hotel etwas außerhalb gelegen, aber das Zentrum von Nerja ist gut erreichbar, auch zu Fuß. Parkplätze beim Hotel gut belegt, aber nie voll.

We had a fantastic stay at Marinas de Nerja. We were there for 9 days, and it was beautiful and enjoyable. The value was incredible. We requested a room with a sea view and were very happy to receive that. We were able to see the pool and sea from our room, and a beautiful palm tree right in front of our room. We enjoyed the pool and beach area very much. It was never crowded and we were always able to find chairs where we wanted (sun or shade). I loved how the beach chairs were actually on the grass in front of the beach and not allowed on the beach, so you wouldn't get sandy. Parking was free and there was plenty of it. We also wanted into Nerja one night which was a nice walk. Breakfast was amazing - it was included in our stay and we really enjoyed it. I just wish it opened a little earlier. The only room for improvement I could see was the gym - it was a bit tired and not very usable. The machines were old and rusty, and the pulley machine didn't work. The free weights only went up to 5 kg. We ended up doing video workouts in our room. That was a bit disappointing as we like to work out daily. The pool was not heated and so it was a bit chilly for us, but we went in anyway. We were there end of April/beginning of May. I suspect it is much warmer in the summer. The pool bar was very nice. They made very good drinks and had free coffee. Plenty of water and ice cream as well. We absolutely loved our stay and were sad to leave. We can't wait to go back!

Toll ist es das der Strand so dicht war. Essen war super und abwechslungsreich. Super wäre eine Info gewesen über Themen Abende wie White, Pink und Neon Party. Könnte man sich darauf vorbereiten. Jesen Samstag war Scahumparty ein super Spaß für die Kids . Wenn man vor dem Haus kein Parkplatz bekommt, werden 12€ für ein eingezäunten Schotterplatz berechnet. Das Geld hätte ich Lieber den Mitarbeitern zukommen lassen. Eine Katastrophe ist das tgl Liegen reservieren. Wenn man nicht mitmacht, bekommt man für den Tag auch keine. Da würde ich mir vom Hotel mehr Durchsetztung wünschen!

Wir hatten alles in allem eine sehr schöne Zeit in Nerja und waren mit der Hotelanlage grundsätzlich zufrieden. Sie ist malerisch direkt am Meer gelegen, mit sehr schön gepflegten Grünanlagen und freundlichem Personal. Allgemein muss man leider sagen, dass der Platz und die Infrastruktur der Anlage der Anzahl der Hotelgäste nicht gewachsen ist. Liegen am Strand müssen früh am Morgen 'reserviert' werden um eine Chance auf einen ruhigen Badetag zu haben, vor dem Restaurant bilden sich mitunter lange Schlangen beim Frühstück und Abendessen. Auch die Sauberkeit der Poolanlage ließ teilweise zu wünschen übrig. Alles in allem aber Jammern auf hohem Niveau, die Reise hat sich auf jeden Fall gelohnt!

Large apart-hotel by the beach, 15 minutes scenic walk on the promenade to Nerja. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment with a balcony and beautiful views. The decor was slightly outdated but the apartment was particularly spacious, very comfortable and with a big bathroom. It was spotless and thoroughly cleaned on a daily basis by friendly staff. We stayed Half-Board. The main downside for us was the food which was of poor quality although there was plenty of it. It didn't help that the restaurant was lit up with neon-lights and felt like a refectory. There was a grilled fish option every night and we managed OK with that and the overcooked stewed vegetables or salads and delicious melon slices. We avoided the cheese, ham and charcuterie which were of the plasticky, reconstituted type. In short, this is good value hotel to use as a convenient base but the food is definitely not 4 star.

Front desk staff were nice as well as informative. We went to our room after a friendly check in. Arrived to our room with an odour that was of strong Clorox covering up layers of mold and mildew. Cleanliness of the room was toxic. Wiped the floor and the napkin was orange.The headboard was sticky and had red stains, ugh. Immediately went to pool bar where the beer was good but the snacks were inedible. We searched for nearby properties knowing we would forfeit the full amount of our stay. Had a wonderful experience at the Riu Monica! PS. Hotel is on outside fringe of Nerja and not a short walk to anything.

Fik en fin modtagelse af en engageret receptionist. Lejligheden var godt og pænt indrettet. Pænt badeværelse, hvor det gamle badekar dog voldte lidt problemer. Personalet i restauranten var smilende og venlige og enormt effektive. Der blev hurtigt ryddet og rengjort borde, og buffetbordene blev også løbende ordnet og rengjorte. Buffeten var meget smukt anrettet og forskellig fra dag til dag. Vi kommer helt sikkert igen.

Our second visit to this hotel, doesnt disappoint. Accommodation and hotel is spotlessly clean, staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a mixed group of nationalities amongst the guests which makes for interesting conversation. Buffet meals are excellent, a great choice for us as pescetarians, but also for vegitarians too. Its a nice walk onto Nerja along the beach which gets your legs moving. Would highly recommend and will be back again, thanks for a great holiday

Overall cleanliness was acceptable, pool area was not maintained well... overflowing bins, grounds not cleares daily...some cigarette stumps left, bits of rubbish. Lifeguard was friendly and helpful with the little ones...all staff polite and responsive

The rooms were clean and spacious, making for a comfortable stay. It would have been even better if tea, coffee, and bottled water were provided in the kitchenette area. The only toiletry supplied was shower gel, so bring your own essentials if needed. The hairdryer was quite basic, so if you prefer a more powerful one, it’s worth taking your own. The décor is a little dated and could use a refresh, but overall the facilities were fine. The location is excellent — it’s a great balance between having a beachfront hotel and being within easy reach of the town. There’s also convenient access to buses into Nerja, which was really handy. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, and upgrades were available at an additional cost.

Noisy, thin walls, queues for breakfast, spa hotel but you had to pay extra for spa, busy on sunbeds, loud entertainment, emergency lights come on in our room at 7am one morning and at 4.49am on another morning, these lit the whole room up and woke us. staff were not interested in our concerns and when it was suggested on check out the least they could for our inconvenience is include the 8 euro bill for two glasses of wine as an apology they refused and didn't even apologise. Not a 4* hotel as advertised.

Good value however it may have been a 4 star resort at one time but it is not anymore. The property could use a refresh but first, the chefs need to reduce the amount of salt in all their food to a level that allows the taster to, at least, identify the food being eaten. Also, the in-room WiFi is all but unusable. That said, we enjoyed watching videos in the bar close to where the booze is.

Wir waren enttäuscht vom Sandstrand, dem Essen, der Lautstärke im Speisesaal und den dünnen Wänden des Apartments. Man hört nachts die Animation und grölenden Gäste als ob sie neben dem Bett ständen. Deshalb bei der Buchung oberste Etagen wünschen auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite. Das Apartment selbst ist toll! Die Lage des Hotels ist auch nicht optimal, wenn man abends flanieren oder auswärts essen möchte. Wer auf all-inklusive steht fühlt sich hier jedoch sicher wohl.

It was great quick stay the good was delightful. Get there early as they don't fill the servings fro. Half way through allotted time. One reception of sword super helpful but another male on duty in the evening was so rude. Huffing g and puffing that he had to get out of his chair to come speak to guests. Imagine having to actually do your job.

We had a great stay, we can't single out anyone of the staff as they were very good and helpful from reception to departure. There were 3 couples all friends who have not meet since 1967 so a reunion and we couldnt have chosen a better place to meet up.

Nice relaxing three days. Property was in adequate condition but show some wear. Biggest drawback is that virtually everything on the buffet was drown in salt. The cooks would prepare some salt free items if asked but, of course, you had to wait for them to be prepared. All in all, an enjoyable experience

Good value however it may have been a 4 star resort at one time but it is not anymore. The property could use a refresh but first, the chefs need to reduce the amount of salt in all their food to a level that allows the taster to, at least, identify the food being eaten. Also, the in-room WiFi is all but unusable. That said, we enjoyed watching videos in the bar close to where the booze is.

Property and rooms were clean and comfortable. Pool, grounds, and location were great. The food was not good. Would not recommend an all inclusive food option - it was all lackluster buffet food.
